While a creating a few posts and browsing the forums I'm thinking what SK will become in a few years. Will it turn into a dead game like Bang! Howdy? Or will it still be on top?
From my gaming experience of two years I, from my point of view, think that SK is slowly dis balancing. From many players from SK and Bang! Howdy I have heard the same. I would really appreciate that if someone would answer this question and an answer from an admin would be even more greatly appreciated.

It will not meet it's potential. OOO will think its anything but their own fault. They'll consider Spiral knights a good income and will decide to go the easy way and sustain the casual market.

SK will never be "the greatest" but will remain as "a thing" as long as new players continue to find it.
It would if the dev doesn't listen to the fanbase, but they do so SK survived 2 years so far as "publicly open"...
So in a few years SK will be whatever the community ask OOO to be...
We wanted something more than the useless guild hall, we got it.
We wanted pets, we will get it.
We say we got bored of the game, they made Shield bash and Dash
We wanted more mobs, arcade unique levels and bosses, we got em (and we will probably get more)
We wanted more customization than the vanilla armor/helms, we got costumes and accessories...
The future of SK lies in our hands if we collab with the devs... That's what great about this game... Promos and continuous content being poured in. And as a dev team, they have a trump card up their sleeves if not 5 or 10... I'm anxious to see the majors updates coming, (shield bash, dash and battle sprites) this will seal the fate of Spiral Knights in the future year or so if it succeed or not
(not putting any pressure there OOO :D)
