In the event you couldn't read the latter part of the title, I'M NOT ASKING FOR THEM TO REVERT THE SHARD LINES BACK TO THEIR ORIGINAL FORM. There's already plenty of topics for that (And a really nice one to huddle it all together).
The Shard lines nowadays aren't actually UP, but rather, a lot more skill reliant and handy, there are just a couple flaws that need to be fixed with them before we can truly harvest their power.
Issue #1: Shard Bombs' mini shard explosion can only hit bosses once. I don't know what kind of coding is preventing it from hitting multiple times, but it SHOULD be allowed to stack. After all, that's where the Shard lines /have/ their power, especially when taking on normal enemies.
Issue #2: They can't hit Roamulus Twins or their Red counterpart at all. Last I checked, EVERY level and EVERY enemy design was made to where it would work with ANY weapon at ANY given time. So why leave that unchecked? It does need to be fixed for a balanced game. At the least, just extend RT's hitboxes so that shards /can/ hit them. (Thanks to Zeddy for noting me this)
I really see that as the /only/ issues that the Shard Bombs currently have, and I can understand that most, if not all other Shard users out there suffer from these, or even more underlying issues that need to be brought to our developer's attention.
Thank you for taking the time to read this partially informative and somewhat important suggestion to overall improve the feel of Spiral Knights. A game we've all came to adore to its current potential.
