Remove the status debuffs from Mad Bomber, or at the very least remove two of them. This way they can be a sort of middle ground between Chaos and the other Demo suits.

Why don't the shards that split from the Shard Bombs explode immediately on contact with the ground instead of starting a second fuse time?

You know those saw blade fist weapons that the Ghostmane Stalkers use in Operation Crimson Hammer? I want one. It can do piercing damage, each time you do a swing it makes the saw blade sound, and the charge attack would be a boomerang effect where a large saw blade gets thrown out for a distance (about as far as a Brandish charge) and returns back to the user.

How about giving bombs the ability to plant miniaturized, short-fused versions of themselves as a single attack? Similar to how swords can attack two or three times in a row, bombs should be able to plant two or three mini-bombs in a row. Bombs are the only weapon that has to have max CTR in order to work properly, and there are times where you can't get a charge attack ready regardless of how short it is.

I'd rather just see the Chaos set have the weaknesses doubled, or the elemental or normal defense completely removed.
Mad Bomber is pretty balanced as is.

But if you nerf Chaos then the Chaos users will be angry and feel that they got ripped off of all their crowns, mats, energy, and possibly money - exactly how I felt when they buffed Chaos and did nothing to Mad Bomber to compensate.

Why doesn't: Shards

Why doesn't:

-Upgrading from a 4* shard to a 5* shard have any benefit on radius, like every other bomb?

-The blast from a shard harm a downed roarmulus twin?

-Using shards in a manner to achieve max DPS reward you with such, instead of no DPS?

-The damage from shard bombs scale properly per-stratum?

-OOO address any of these issues / prominent flaws?

I for one like shards having a long fuse tyvm. Also mad has always been under powered look at volcanic demo and grey owlite slightly less overall defense one less status resist for a medium offensive bonus so mad would be balanced just do this process twice. Chaos is OP nerf it some and make it a shadow lair armor. Saw oh did you mean a DVS? It seems like you did.

If shards are going to be changed why not like this?

Bombs having a regular attack is what OOO removed from beta test

It could work, but it'd have to be well thought-out, nobody was using the charge attacks of all bombs because you could plant a couple suckers with no charging.

@Father-Frost: Nothing like DVS. It would do piercing (maybe even normal/piercing), won't cause poison, and the charge attack wouldn't be a 10-second spaz attack followed up by a lunge attack. The charge attack will work like League of Legend's Sivir's Boomerang Blade. Also, learn to proofread.

@Quez: I didn't know that, but then again I was never in the beta. Honestly, I think that's a terrible excuse for bombs to not have single attacks. Swordsmen and gunslingers hardly ever use their charge attacks unless an opportunity presents itself. Just make the single attacks smaller in scale compared to charged attacks, including the blast radius. Right now the other two archetypes make better bombers thanks to the Pulsar and Brandish lines, and at least they can continue attacking when they're backed into a corner, or when a bunch of greavers are gnawing of their faces.

@Hexzyle: So if the developers decide to change your favorite weapon or armor, you would not be angry about it? You would not feel that the item(s) that you worked so hard to get crafted and leveled was a complete and utter waste of time and energy and that now you have to do it all over again? If it was properly balanced; if everything was given the proper planning and all the consequences it would cause were dealt with, most people wouldn't feel that way. It's a mistake that was made due to poor planning, and the fact that it's been about two major patches and we still haven't seen any changes to address it makes me wonder if the developers even care about a group of players - players that will potentially give them money and recommend the game to their friends and family, who would then give them more money - simply because they prefer a certain playstyle.

No, just remove the universal damage increase medium on each piece of the Chaos set. Would I be wrong in saying that the main reason people get chaos is to have that very high charge time reduction for guns (alchemers), swords (brandishes) as well as bombs? As of right now, the Chaos set is seriously overpowered (the status weaknesses don't matter at all) so it doesn't matter at all who whines about it when it gets nerfed.

Of course I wouldn't: As long as the change had been made for a reason. Shard Bombs were changed because they were overpowered. The thing they changed it too is moderately okayish, but the intention behind the change is fair. Stun was removed from Sudaruska because it was bugged. Pepperbox was fixed because it was bugged. It might have been a gimmick weapon, but the intention of bugfixing was there. Avenger charges were changed because they were so exploitable it wasn't funny.
