never trust mainstream gamers.

They wouldn't know a good game if it hit.then in the face. You don't need to share their opinions.

Most probably because of energy system. Most of important things require energy like Clockworks, crafting, etc. They don't get enough feel of this game so they quit halfway. I honestly think it's fun while it lasts but at some point, you'll get bored of same things over and over again. For instance, keep doing FSC run or playing LD with whiners. It lacks of real contents like Shadow Lair so you'll be playing FSC with whatever new stuff like Shield Bash, Dash or maybe Sprites which will be released soon. Most of the updates are about costumes, accessories and maybe new monsters or new game play once in a while. It doesn't have new boss with new token to redeem new stuff or the core which will give you more reason to play. So they probably hate it because of that and left.

Remember, the 13 year minimum age is for SK, not for Steam. Your friends are prolly just jealous because they're not mature enough to appreciate this game yet. Tell 'em they just need be patient, there's no sense whinging, and they can still enjoy CoD until they're mature enough to handle a game that doesn't go out of its way to reassure them that they're "mature" for wallowing in gratuitious violence, sexism, drab colour palettes and whatever else publishers like to market as "for mature audiences."
