Beginning players can't get addicted to the game when they only have 200e (with that first mist tank) to spend. Die a couple times, craft a 2* item, and you won't have enough energy for a second trip through Clockworks. If they're not power gamers, they still won't have any crystal energy to support themselves with by the end of their first week.

Why not give us a way to get mist tanks regularly? You could even make us do a quest for it, like "Kill 50 wolvers".

I don't even mind if we're only allowed to have 1 mist tank at a time. At most, you could blow 200e in one day. This would prevent players from stocking up to replace the need for ce.

I'd rather see faster regen

I'd rather see faster regen on mist I mean 22hrs seriously? should be cut in half or just make it 12hrs even. Each day I log on and don't even have a full tank so I burn through what I do have in like an hour or minutes if I'm crafting and I'm fairly new only been playing a few days and already purchased Energy so I'm enjoying the game just wish I could play it a bit more each day.

At the very least they should look into ways of providing people with something to do when they're out of CE besides spam trading maybe things like mini games and stuff where people can win CR and then when they get enough they can always buy more CE.

Also wouldn't hurt in adding some more quest into the game (repeatable ones perf.), rewards can be in CR at least it's extra CR that also can be used to buy CE.

The only problem with mist

The only problem with mist energy is that nothing builds up on it if you like go on vacation or something or stop playing for awhile. And even that's not really that big of a deal.

I'm not suggesting any of this for my own benefit. I was hoping to put forth an idea and get serious feedback about whether this would help beginners or not, perhaps reducing the volume of their complaints a bit. But if the whole community is that tired of hearing energy suggestions, fine. Forget it. I was an idiot.

anywho, I'm not exactly tired of energy suggestions, but this one's been done before in varying ways to the same extent, ideas are the way this game will grow but some ideas just aren't going anywhere no matter how good they are. And just about anything that's related to energy is in that category. To be honest, I'm still a fan of a particular suggestion where elevator costs are decreased slightly with more players but that's not going anywhere either lol...

Echoing kbe, I'm of the

Echoing kbe, I'm of the opinion that adding some energy-free content is the way to go. The mini-game or infinite dungeon suggestions that sometimes pop up strike me as the best balance to keep the game paced just like it is, but provide something for players to do when they're out of ME and still hungry for more.

As a bonus, let two players gamble crowns or CE on the games, possibly with a cut going to the house to sink some resources.

Uh huh.

We have MORE then enough complaining about energy and this idea has already been brought up before and was shot down.

I was an idiot.

Possibly.

Maybe you buy energy for

Maybe you buy energy for crowns or something.

Like, if you had 5000 crowns, you could buy 100 energy.

That'd be pretty cool.

Not sure why you guys are

Not sure why you guys are getting down on this guy, play time is a problem.. so why not keep hammering away at the problem
until someone fixes it? Or I guess you could just say fugg it and be satisfied with the messed up current system, up to you.

How about a monthly payment option (like trinkets etc) that allows for a bigger energy bar, or a shorter regen time for energy?
I would be happy to click on the energy bar and drop 4.99 a month to have a max of 200 energy as opposed to 100, or instead
get a full 100 in 11 hours.. or both, how about 9.99 a month for 11 hour regen on a 200 max tank?

I really like the weekly mist

I really like the weekly mist bar idea (100-200; 100 should be enough really). It makes the game less in your face "pay to play more", but 100 extra energy a week translates to not even 20 extra energy a day. (it's a lot better than full regeneration in 12 hours approaches at least)

I think playing for 300 energy on your first day for free (with the awarded steamtank), or 200 for 2 days each is a great way to hook people.

It will ALSO shut up the few people complaining about 4* items costing 200 to craft (the "some player has to spend money" thing). Of course crafting 1 item a week with your free energy is a rather unlikely scenario (unless CE prices really shoot through the roof)

edit: binding it to stupid quests is rather anti intuitive though. Everyone loves to have a lot of bars. And when would the quest reset, an extra gradually refilling bar is just better! New players wouldnt be able to locate and complete a "kill 50 wolvers" quest anyway, especially when there's barely any beast stratums around.

I wonder if it would be

I wonder if it would be profitable to have a monthly subscription for a larger mist tank that refills in the same amount of time.
