I can't explain my reasoning as to why OOO shouldn't release the battle sprite update as a whole, cause i would get censored/banned for doing so, which i get it but at the same time angers me but that being said, the update is a major mistake, half the things in there, hell a great majority of the things in there are terrible and counter-productive to the game itself.

here are a few SIMPLE things i would enjoy from three rings.

1. Babillard/blackboard - A simple blackboard that you can either buy from birdsongs emporium or get it in the treasury room, this blackboard will contain a preset message (max 1000 words or whatever) from the guild masters to members, it would be perfect for showing the guild rules at all times.

2. Guild mail - 100 crowns per member so a 100 person guild would cost 10 000 (well 9900) this would allow guild masters to send newsletters, i would agree with a cooldown with this option.

I can't think of others, all i can say is PLEASE don't release that update.

Oh hay!

The things you suggested seem reasonable and would be a good crown sink for the game. So +1 to them.
I would prefer we go into detail on your problem with battle sprites, it may be good to voice out any issues you may have with it at this point in development because hay, you might have noticed a major problem in it that has yet to be mentioned, or at least bring public attention it it none the less.
I do agree that it may bring some problems like "how will we balance the game to help deal with these added ways to make the game easier?
You may also want to change the title to "Things needed for guilds and possibly why battle sprites may be bad" or something like that just so people can get a better idea of what the thread is about.

If you hated battle sprites you should have complained back in january. We can't tell them to stop after it's pretty much finished.

We could have them without the other changes. And we probably will for at least a few weeks. Nick said we should focus on the sprites and ignore the other changes because they aren't completely finished.

2 - Bulletin Board (Suggested by Skold-The-Drac). A cheap but useful Guild board, editable only by the Guild Master (The Guild Master may choose to change the board to be editable by Officers), in which Guild notices, events, etc. would be viewable. Simple but essential for large guilds that have many players with different timezones in it. I suggest there be different Titles for each bulletin placed on the board. Meaning, when the GM creates it, he may choose "Guild Notice", "Dungeon Crawl Event" or "PvP Event". This way before even reading the notice, you'd know what it's about.

How hard was that to read?

frostyhawk i see where you are coming from with not releasing the update. I dont know if its true but i heard they are taking away revs where you give half your health, so its all energy revs, witch personaly would get too annoying and mabye make me quit the game entirely, because i may be a vangaurd who can make 2 complete 5 star lines in 5 hours but im not rich

That sounds expensive. How about reduce it to 7k? That sounds reasonable to me :P
