Cradle's Thirteenth (Roleplay Discussion Thread)

Hello Roleplayers!
A new roleplay is in order, as we have lost our precious friend Thinslayer from the roleplay community. As such, I've come to realize there is a new era coming into Spiral Knights. Battle Sprites and new powers! And we've wandered away from the total meaning of a Spiral Knights roleplay, as it is hardly Spiral Knights anymore. As such, it's time we come to terms that Spiral Knights has improved, and as such, so have must our stories!
Let's set a background!
The dawn of a new kingdom has arrived, and a King and Queen have been established. Haven has become a village of happiness, as citizens go about their business. But not all is well. Attacks have been made on the domain by...outsiders.
No guards speak of them, not even to their own families. Many assault the outer walls constantly, and distress has been brought upon the citizens. Valkyries are on watch constantly upon the city towers. The outsiders seem to have no supplies to attack the wall, or they could've gotten through already, having there been whisper that there are thousands of them. Atop Mount Vog, a mountain brough long ago along with Almire, looms far off, but high above the village. A storm of red and orange looms above it, and something strange seems to be going on on the other side by the distant roars.
The tale starts with a mysterious Oracle in the First Sanctuary, guarded by the Twins. He whispers into the waters of Sanctuary, seeking aid for an avatar. His soul is slipping away, and if his body ends up empty...only he would know. He must resurrect a body of the lost to use, for he must find out why the creatures have returned, why they would ever return. The Dragon Worshippers.
Apps:
So, the new Battle Sprites. It's not mandatory you have one, but I suggest it. Don't give it a personality though, and use it as a weapon instead.

Dragon Worshippers can ad possibly will be able to breathe fire, but their long claws will be their general weapon.
Knights will use Swords or Guns or Bombs, generally having a better charge attack than in-game.
Try to add in some thought more than physical doings. We want to see what's in your character's head!
RULES
NO GOD-MOD
NO MAGIC
NO POWERPLAYS
NO INSTA-HEALING, IF A CHARACTER IS OUT, THEY'RE OUT.(for a fight, so to speak)
CHARACTERS WILL TAKE DAMAGE IN A FIGHT

*Sprites may be modified, but must retain characteristics as to which Basic Sprite they originate from.

The Prototype Spiral Shotgun is very similar to the Autogun in attack. The only difference is that the Shotgun fires all it's rounds in one shot.

Scene
Well, I better set a scene so everyone knows what's going on and what they're joining.
SCENE
A mysterious figure walks amongst the crowds, a ratty brown cloak hiding his face and features. A meeting is gathering at the Town Square. Distant thunder and shouts break any prospect of silence, and the Valkyries atop the towers constantly shoot outside the domain. Loyal Azure Guardians block the exits out of Haven, and Strangers move about the crowds as one of the Knights. As everyone gathers at a black marble castle-like building, large double doors swing open to reveal the King dressed in a Skolver-lined white coat, with an icey crown atop his head. The Queen follows next to him, wearing a dress of metal scales and feathers, and a Valkyrie helmet. As the sovereigns calm their subjects, it's apparent there is some stress in their tones. "Our domain is in danger. An ancient civilization, created by Vog himself, have risen from their grave within Mount Vog. We require anyone familiar in combat to step forth. We seek your aid in the death of the Dragon and his Worshippers. Please, I beg of you. If any could step forth!" Thunder interrupts their united speech, and another roar follows. The doors to Haven shake. War would soon come to happen, and Valkyries, Knights, and Strangers alike would have to fight a long-dead race.
The mysterious stranger in the cloak looks up, and the cloak falls to the ground, empty...
DRAGON WORSHIPPERS SCENE
Another cloaked figure walks amongst the Worshipper masses, and slips out of the crowd headed to Haven. They walks away and into the hole in the mountainside. Only the elite were allowed in. As they walk inside, they can see down the hall there's an Elite group of Worshippers kneeling down to a far-down pit of lava, lighting up the dark cavern. The mysterious figure walks closer, and an Eye of Inferno appears before the elite. My dear Priests of Flame, today is a new day. As I awaken, I grow ever more restless to see the performance my Worshippers make. Haven and the Clockworks will burn, and I'll reclaim this planet as I have sought for millenia. Find and absorb the Swarm, and spread it amongst our kind. I believe I can manipulate it, and gain absolute control over my Worshippera. Find it, and receive the blessing of eternal fire. The five Priests nod, and stand as wings sprout from their backs. As they turn to go, one catches sight of the brown cloak and Dashes over. "You weren't invited!" He growls, and shoves his claws into the cloak. But the cloak simply falls into his hand, as if there was no one there at all. He grunts, and fires the cloak to ashes. The legions of Worshippers march from their waking place at a lower hole in the mountain, where they were preserved. With so many, Vog could only know how they are made. He created them, didn't he?
GREMLIN SCENE
A Gremlin carries a cup of water to Tinkinzar, down the servants' hall and through a secret door. The king sots on his throne, a table full of elite Gremlins to converse with. As they converse over their plans to infiltrate and discover what the Dragon Worshippers worship, the king forgets to touch his drink. "Well, who do we send?"
"Those who serve the Crimson Order wholeheartedly. The most advanced of our thwackers, our menders, our stalkers, our demolitionists...every individual mastered in their expertise."
"But what about the Snarbolax boy? Won't he interfere?"
"Probably not. I heard his mind isn't as stable as it used to be."
"Won't that make him a threat, sir?!"
"Possibly, but I wouldn't count on it. That Snarbolax has lived too long. The Core will take care of him until he is revived. But before he can drift away, we will have already found out what's in that mountain. NOW, GET A TEAM READY!"
"YES, YOUR HIGHNESS!" They march out of the room.
"Ahhh...all according to plan." The drink seems to glare at him before it fades out as he drinks it whole.
DEVILITE SCENE
(Devilites are summoned by practitioners of dark arts, any race qualifies as a practitioner...)

You can't....first of all, we have to wait for more roleplayers, second you need to post in the story thread, which will be made when there ARE enough roleplayers, third of all don't you think they would do that? I mean, sure they're already doing it, but they don't have practically NUCLEAR weapons! Fourth, they were simply calling for volunteer guards. Fifth of all they're the King and Queen for a reason, and I'm sure they have the best battle plan possible currently. Sixth, why would there be THAT many weapons to line the wall if the only usual monsters are in the clockworks. Seventh of all.....well, I think I listed my point.

I want to set the scene for Seatus, if that's all right. I feel like I'm remembering his personality...
SEATUS
I lay hunched over the Sanctuary's waters, light shining up from it and reflecting on my face. Ugh, I feel so weak! I turn onto my back and stare up at the sky, one hand laying beside my head and dipped into the water. I feel so cold in my mind. A band of three Knights walk from the elevator, and walk over to stare at me. One of them questions why I Knight would be here when my Snarbolock wings unfold, and my hairs, eyes, and wings tinged red coloring to turquoise. My eyes glow with a turquoise surrounded by blackness. I must warn them...I cough before a voice forces it's way out of my mouth. "Deeeath. The Gremlins bring deeeath. Traitors amongst the Knights! CONSPIRING WITH THE GREMLINS! Chemicals of death and eternal pain bring suffering to all! THE CORE DOES NOT APPROVE! WE DO NOT APPROVE!" I am blasted back by an unknown force, and land against the Structure. "I need...I need armor...I need...bones..." The first of the party complies, as I can't see the person's face. I'm thrown a Mighty Cobalt Set from afar, Armor and Blackened Crest. I'm thrown a Grand Flourish, and I drag myself to the waters. I'm so sick...I drag the items with me...sinking to the bottom of the water...
I escape my body, and rearrange the Armor, Shield, and Sword to look like a Knight. I use the rest of my energy...every single drop of myself, save one, and create a Knight. I feel the Core reaching out to me, and I accept it's embrace...
A golden light shines from the waters, as an Almirian walks out, brandishing a Crest of Almire, and a Final Flourish. A golden light seems to possess him. "I am the first creation..." it says, before returning the life the the Almirian. He shakes his head, and bangs his helmet with his Shield before removing his helmet to show silver hair, hinted with turquoise, green, and a light red. He tilts his head, not quite knowing how to speak besides telepathy. Where am I? Who am I?

Biography: He was exiled from the Valkyries, but he doesn't know it. He just think's he's a normal boy, with wings. He was exiled because of his parent's faults. They committed Treason. He wants to be a guard, but is rejected everytime.

Appearance: Usually, his hood covers his face. But when revealed, he has black eyes, black hair, a average build, and light skinned. Has a scar somewhere around his hip when he got into a fight with another Valkyrie.

I won't use one. Kinda hard to plot when you have something nawing on your head all day xD not to say they are a bad idea. Just saying I won't use one unless I have too. All I need is that Stealth tech. and I am good to go. Appear/dissappear like a buss...assassin...what ever you want to call me...

Wars are awkward for roleplaying. There's so many foes that you're constantly combatting. I could see us all playing it for a littke bit before giving up on it. The Gremlins also have a technological advantage, making posts harder to think of due to us not knowing how far their knowledge of tech goes. And most of the wars in the forums are common events. Even I couldn't leave one out. To base a whole story on a war is to base a whole story around combat.
But if you make a round enough sphere of events...perfectly placed to coincide during a journey or at a point of interes, then maybe. But only a maybe. Return to Cradle was pretty damn rare if you ask me...

An example of what I mean by confusion: "Can I submit more than one character?"
A response the the post above: Well, I'm a drawer, you can decide for yourself if I qualify as skilled.

Race: Dragon Worshiper, wingless

Appearance: Skilled in disguising. Could actually be a snipe or a scuttlebot or something under all those layers of subterfuge, for all we know.
Arsenal: Sentenza, and a Faust whose blade has been snapped off. Perfect for stabbing. Also, a pet Maskeraith named Cauliflower.
Bio: Enjoys misleading and disorienting, prefers to attack with the Faust when enemies least expect it, falling back to his gun only if discovered. Enjoys deception so much that he might get a little distracted from his actual goal, and just go trick more people.

Also, you CAN have more than one character as long as you use them. If you use one for a one or two time thing, we call those NPCs, and they can just be quietly thrown in the trash once used.

Is this how I use the discussion thread?
I introduced my character by starting at when he steals his Maskeraith from the Gremlin's chemical plant. To give the impression that my character is slippery and sneaky, he wasn't narrating himself: instead, I posted a Gremlin security recording of the theft that he deleted. The cameras are all in a line, and show on the recording what they see passing them.
The first part is a lone gremlin setting up the security and leaving.
The next part is a pair of gremlins coming in, checking the system, and leaving.
The last part is a bunch of gremlin troops passing through: there's seven that pass in front of the first camera, then eight that pass the second. The extra gremlin was my character, in disguise. At the third camera, he sees the Maskeraiths, and kills the gremlins to get one. Then he finds the computer, logs in, and deletes the evidence.

He is kind to anyone who is kind to him, knocks out mean people on sight and puts monster heads on a stick in battle.He attacks with underestimated fury, so angry that his eyes can set on fire. And flame-eyed Knights are not calm at all. He alsomade a prototype shotgun he is alchemising en masse and handing to every member of his guild, The Monsterslayers. But surprisingly, the guild has a low amount of members, and all of Pow's money goes towards the Guild Hall. He has surprising reflexes, and can raise his shield half a second before, say, a gun puppy pellet hits him.
