I imagine any free player that is at 3-4* is probably done. I can't imagine how long it would take for them to reach 5* equipment.
That is certainly one way to "extend" the content of your game. :p

crafting cost in ce alone to make a 5* from 2* is now 1450 a piece. more than double from pre-patch, good luck to ppl staying.
theres almost no ways of making money to sustain playin for free anymore now.
at the current ce cost, you wont even get enough to cover expense from a jelly king run.

You can't just throw something out like this with no announcement. Sellers and Hand-me-down players are completely boned; they can't sell or trade their gear any more. The only things that are selling are T1 -> T2 purchases and UVs on unbound 1*, 2* and 3* weapons. Nothing else can be traded. What's the point?
At least give us a grace period or something... this is too much.

Crafting
* Using a bound items in alchemy will result in the finished product being bound as well. For example, crafting a 4* item that requires a item of heat level 5 will result in an item that is bound to the crafter.
* Crafting energy costs have increased.

If you need more funding killing the player base is a bad idea, you should just give out cheap merchandise with the ce you sell, like posters for $10 dollers and Shirts for $50 ect...
