I can confirm that the health

I can confirm that the health gets buffed, and the statuses get stronger (i'd be immune to fire/poison slicks in C42 with fallen set + 4* trinket for poison and fire but on Elite now I do get poisoned and get on fire from the slicks), and I've heard that the monsters deal more specialised damage than normal and also hit stronger.

Elite is slightly stronger

Elite is slightly stronger and gives more loot that old regular clockworks. Thats what i noticed from playing mostly stratum 5 and 6 of clockworks and FSC. Trojans have a little bit health left even after full blitz charge.

Yep enemies have more health.

Yep enemies have more health. For example, if on normal an enemy take 2 hits then on elite it take 3-4. Also the chances for rarities increase with the difficultly but you still need some luck. I can get 30 crystals on advanced and then do the same run on elite and get 9. You also take a lot more damage from spikes and explosive boxes so you need to be really careful. I think the vitapod drop rate decrease as the difficulty get harder, need confirmation on that.

As said in update..

Advance is nearly the same exact difficulty before the update, Normal is easier with less loot, and Elite is harder with more loot.

What 000 didn't change

is the monster AI. You can fight them as normal, just try not to get Trojan slam or it'll take off like a third of your health.

Mmk so sweet they added

Mmk so sweet they added something more difficult. Can elite mode be accessed from day 1 on a new knight? Notes didn't really say how to change the modes, so I will assume it's just in options -> gameplay or something similar.

Has anyone who has played elite found it to be a good level of challenge, say, comparable to what we experienced 2 ish years ago? (tracking wolvers, zombs, etc etc) I know that it did not change the monster AI, but does the increased health / damage help compensate and make it as challenging as the old AI?

Also - suggestion - can elite mode include the old crazy retrode blasts and tracking wolver / zombie etc etc that was changed so the AI is more difficult?

Mmk, so this might be bad. On

Mmk, so this might be bad.

On a new dude I made, I discovered how you change it through the mission screen........

Does this mean.... the arcade seriously cannot be changed to elite difficulty? Missions only?

Enemies on advanced have 50% more health than on Normal. Enemies on Elite have 50% more health than on Advanced.

Advanced was the amount of health enemies usually had before the update.

And yes, difficulty carries

And yes, difficulty carries over to the Arcade, but until the last hotfix (I think) there just wasn't an interface to change it besides the one in the mission window.

Higher difficulties also increases the amount of damage in an attack which is not normal-typed, effectively decreasing how well class armours like wolver will defend you compared to jelly. Apparently, T1 will no longer be pure normal on Elite, making 1* armour with piercing and elemental defence somewhat more useful.
