Two Items. UV's: 1/2. A: N/A. W: N/A.

In-Game Name: Seymour-Cutlass
Item: SilverSix
Unique Variants: ASI High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: N/A
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: N/A

Estimated Market Value: [7,000CE - 10,500CE]

Difficulty of Selling/Buying/Finding: 3~
Numerical: High~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Argent Peacemaker ASI High is a solid 10KCE Average in the present market. SilverSix has an unbind cost that's 2,200CE cheaper than AP unbind; which is rather convenient for the seller. Moderate find during the occasional popular event; otherwise, High in terms of difficulty; more-or-less.

Multiple Items. UV's: Many. A: N/A. W: N/A. P/C: CE. B,S,C: S.

In-Game Name: Aaron-The-Mighty
---
Item: Divine Avenger
Unique Variants: ASI Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [27,000CE - 33,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [30,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Moderate/High
Numerical: 2 ~ 3
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Nice item; it's popular and has the best available UV for it. Not really much else to say. Moderate sell around minimum; high difficulty around max.

---

Item: Final Flourish
Unique Variants: ASI Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [22,000CE - 30,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [26,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: High~
Numerical: 3~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's
ASI VH flourishes used to be worth more in the past. Though, since late Summer 2013, its average price has slowly deflated. Its buyer market has also been decreasing; so I would recommend caution when selling.

---

Item: Dread Venom Striker
Unique Variants: ASI Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [12,000CE - 18,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [15,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult+
Numerical: 4+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Fantastic UV~ . . . . Sadly, the market for Dread Venom Striker is pretty much nonexistent.
Most DVS's up for sale throughout 2013 were ones with either ASI or CTR VH. In addition, there were very few sales in total :/
Don't be discouraged and end up underselling the item just to get rid of it. There's still the possibility of selling the DVS for a decent price; best of luck ^^

---

Item: Acheron
Unique Variants: CTR VH
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [14,000CE - 21,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [17,500CE]

Difficulty of Selling: High~
Numerical: 3~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
For this specific item:
CTR is valued for PvE.
ASI is valued for PvP.

Used to be CTR > ASI; now it's ASI > CTR.

In the past, there were more players after brandish lines for PvE; however, the demand had recently been shifting to PvP instead.
Serious buyers would offer around market or higher. Casual/Non-serious buyers would probably offer around minimum.

---

Item: Shivermist Buster
Unique Variants: CTR VH
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [15,000CE - 25,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [20,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: High
Numerical: 3
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Neat item. It has a pretty stable market history; not many changes in value.
Ironically, instead losing or gaining value, it simply became harder to sell in general. It was considered a moderate sell prior to the battle sprite release.
Aside from that, there are still decent chances of finding a buyer out of sheer luck. So I wish you good luck :P

---

Item: Fiery Atomizer
Unique Variants: CTR VH
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [14,000CE - 20,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [17,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult
Numerical: 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
CTR VH (5*) Fiery has around the same average value as a CTR VH (5*) Shiver; however, it has a smaller buyers market.
Also, since this is a (4*) item, its value is somewhat less than its (5*) counterpart.
Do Not upgrade this to (5*) then sell it; the added crafting/unbind costs are NOT worth it.

---

Item: Blitz Needle
Unique Variants: ASI Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [10,000CE - 12,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [11,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: High/Very Difficult
Numerical: 4 ~ 5
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Most players use Blitz for the Charge attack; in which case, they are usually after CTR.
Of course, ASI still has value; though that's mostly because other players target ASI to combine it with the CTR from Chaos gear for full stats.
Because these factors are in favor of the buyer; the market for this item is also buyer orientated.

Don't undersell it if it becomes hard to find a buyer though; it's still possible-ish. Who knows, you may find a buyer out of unexpected coincidence. Sorry if this seems out of place; I'm just trying to provide morale support :s

---

Item: Polaris
Unique Variants: Undead Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [5,000CE - 6,500CE]
Estimated Average Value: [5,750CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult - Not worth it
Numerical: 4 ~ 5
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Polaris is both a popular and despised PvP item.

In terms of UV value for Polaris; ASI > CTR > Monster Damage Bonuses. From of those UV's, only the ASI UV has a stable buyers market.
Why?
Logically, CTR and Monster UV's aren't practical in PvP.
Of course, there are still some players that may use polaris for PvE; which is why the Non-ASI UV's aren't worthless.

Basically, even though it's Very High, it's still a really difficult sale :/
DO NOT unbind it until AFTER you find a buyer. Make sure that buyer also has the CE needed to pay. Good luck!

---------------------------------------------------

Item: Skolver Cap
Unique Variants: Normal High; Pierce Low
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [5,000CE - 6,250CE]
Estimated Average Value: [5,625CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult
Numerical: 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
A majority of buyers in the UV market tend to target Max UV's.
Naturally, this makes it difficult to sell Non-Max UV's.
(5*) versions simply add to this difficulty; mostly because the high unbind costs tend to push away possible buyers.

---

Item: Snarbolax Cap
Unique Variants: Shadow High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [6,000CE - 7,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [6,500CE]

Difficulty of Selling: High~
Numerical: 3~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Snarbolax Caps with No-Uv are usually 5KCe - 6KCe market. Shadow high adds about 1KCE to the base value.

---

Item: Snarbolax Coat
Unique Variants: Shadow High; Normal Low
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [6,250CE - 7,500CE]
Estimated Average Value: [6,875CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Moderate
Numerical: 2
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
In general, snarbolax coats are somewhat easier to sell than snarbolax caps. Due to this, the coat tends to be a tad more valued than the cap.
As for the normal low uv, it's very minor and hardly makes difference in the coat's value; probably adds 100ce at most.

---

Item: Vog Cub Coat
Unique Variants: Fire High; Normal Med
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [5,500CE - 7,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [6,250CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult+
Numerical: 4+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Fire is generally considered an upper valued UV; this adds a moderate amount of value.
However, Vog is even more common than skolver; so the difficulty of selling is a tad higher.

---------------------------------------------------

Item: Grand Flourish
Unique Variants: Beast Very High
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [2,500CE - 3,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [2,750CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult+
Numerical: 4+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
In all honesty, I wanted to place this specific item as "Not worth it" in terms of selling difficulty.
However, even if I wanted too, I can't deny that there is a very, very small chance of finding a potential buyer.

Please, I sincerely recommend that you Do Not unbind this in advance.
Find a buyer first and make sure the buyer is completely willing & capable to purchase the item Before any unbinding.
I'm seriously stressing the "Do Not unbind this in advance" part.

---

Item: Calibur
Unique Variants: ASI Med; CTR Med; Beast Low
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [1,500CE - 2,500CE]
Estimated Average Value: [2,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Very Difficult
Numerical: 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Calibur is pretty much the most common weapon in-game.
Because of that, ASI Med is valued around 30kcrs - 55kcrs while CTR Med is valued around 25kcrs - 45kcrs.
The combined value would be around 1KCE average. However, the rarity of this uv combination is still a factor; thereby increasing its value to around 2KCE average.

Regardless of the uv, caliburs have a very small market in general. So if you find a good offer; I'd recommend taking it.

---

Item: Blizzbrand
Unique Variants: CTR Med
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [2,600CE - 3,800CE]
Estimated Average Value: [3,200CE]

Difficulty of Selling: Moderate+
Numerical: 2+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
CTR Med is an uncommon uv for brandishes; therefore, most of the demand for it is focused on the (2*) versions.
Luckily, (4*) and below brandish lines with CTR Med are A Lot easier to sell than (5*)'s with CTR Med.
However, please understand that it is still a moderately difficult sale regardless.

---------------------------------------------------

Item: Regal Cat Tail
Unique Variants: N/A
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: Controversial.
Sellers tend to target 10KCE - 20KCE; leaning on the upper end.
Buyers tend to target 400Kcrs - 750Kcrs; leaning around the average.

Difficulty of Selling: Easy - Very Difficult+
Numerical: 1 ~ 5+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's
I've reviewed auction house sale data, forum data, and got the opinions of over 35 well known merchants; though in the end, it remained controversial.
Supposedly, the price of regular cat tails crashed when Divine/Prismatic cat tails were supply depot released. However,
19+ merchants agreed with this, 7+ merchants disagreed with this, and the rest either didn't have a solid opinion or didn't want their opinion disclosed.
As for possible value,
I've got 12+ merchants leaning to 10KCE average, 5+ leaning on 15KCE - 20KCE, and the rest either set their opinions in between this or deviated.

Based on previous Street/AH data, there have been several sales in the 430kcrs - 690kcrs range; primarily for heavy, cool, dusky and military cat tails.
However, some previously recorded sales have hit well above 10KCE; though most of these sales occurred prior to 'Supply Depot Sales'.
Buyer demand seriously shifted when those depot sales were established; long term investing dropped while 'regular' trading gained.

Difficulty of sale will vary depending on the price you decide to sell at; naturally, easier at lower price and harder at a higher price.

Anyways, I hope this helps somehow~

Is it worth: Selling for 300k cr

Estimated Market Value: [280KCrs - 374KCrs]
Estimated Average Value: [327,000Crs]

Difficulty of Selling/Buying/Finding: High/Very Difficult
Numerical: 3 ~ 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Ironically, the easiest time to sell storm boxes was during the actual event.
It didn't inflate much, if at all, because the storm box prizes didn't inflate.
Timing is the most important part when selling prize boxes; because fair/realistic buyers show up completely at random.

Is It Worth: Selling for 300k cr
Yes. It's possible to get a bit more; though that'd take a bit of good luck & timing. Otherwise, 300k is very reasonable/fair.

Slightly more difficult to sell than toasty eye of fury.
Its pretty much the same value though.

Just like toasty eye of fury, I suggest targeting a higher price; around 50kcrs should be rather fair.

Two Valued Items. UV's: Multi. A: N/A. W: 1/2.

Item: Red Rose Chapeau
Unique Variants: N/A
Accessories: N/A
Is It Worth: Paying 35kce for one

Estimated Market Value: [25,000CE - 35,000CE]
Estimated Average Value: [30,000CE]

Difficulty of Selling/Buying/Finding: Moderate+/High
Numerical: 2.5~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Prior to being re-released, Red Rose Chap was at 65KCE - 90KCE.
During re-release, it crashed badly. A few were released on featured at 1mcrs b/o ea; of which, sold almost instantly. Then, the (bid-only) featured-released auctions that appeared soon afterwards had only managed to end around a 1.3mcrs - 2mcrs range at average.
If that wasn't bad enough, a new rose promo was released soon after those sales occurred. This caused the demand for 1st/2nd generation rose sets to instantly halt; with the re-inflation of their corresponding values having slowed down considerably.
As of right now, it has slowly been regaining value at a steady pace. However, there is now a Limit to how much it may potentially re-inflate.
This is mostly because players are now aware that even 1st gen rose risks re-release; which isn't really a good thing investment-wise.

Is It Worth: Paying 35kce for one
For personal use; I suppose.
For investment/re-sale; no. At least, not for the time being.

Nice item. Difficulties differ depending on if you're selling, buying, or finding this specific piece.
All the accessories on this piece were supply depot released before. So naturally, the value of this armor is at risk.
If any of its accessories are re-released again, value will be lost; with the amount of deflation depending on the prices that they're potentially re-released at.

Price Checker Note's:
Most shield UV's lack value due to factors such as very low demand and lack of practicality.

Why?
The stats gained from shield UV's Do Not boost a player's general defense.
It only affects the stats of your shielding.

From a gamer's perspective; it can be seen like this:
Helm/Armor UV's are Passive; so these type of UV's are always in effect.
Shield UV's are Toggled; in which, these type of UV's are only in effect when you're actively shielding.

There's a lot more about shield UV's when defining why they have less value than Helm/Armor UV's; however, I'm not a PvE/PvP expert and therefore cannot explain those parts effectively enough. So, if you're still curious and want info in regards to UV's and their effects, I suggest asking a player with PvE/PvP knowledge for an accurate answer. As such, I recommend players like Zeddy, Krakob, or Invincibleqc.

Also, the 3* version is only higher than the 2* version due to increased Unbind costs. Generally, higher starred gear tends to be harder to sell than lower starred gear. So if you have a low starred UV'd item and think upping it's star would increase any possible profit, Don't. It's not worth it. Only real exceptions would be things like popular shadow lair gear or specific star event gear/items.

And finally, difficulties differ depending on if you're selling, buying, or finding these specific item(s).

In the end, I think I overdid this response; still, I hope it helps somehow~

Price Checker Note's:
For sealed swords, ASI > CTR in terms of value.
Why?
ASI is useful for both Divine Avenger and Gran Faust. CTR is only useful for Divine Avenger.
ASI is a "Passive UV"; CTR is a "Toggled UV". Since ASI applies on every attack while CTR only applies for charged attacks.

Also, to point out the obvious, difficulties differ depending on if you're selling, buying, or finding this specific item.

2/13/2014 - Status Update

Ello & sorry about the slow delays that have been going on lately. . .

I had recently gotten sick with a high fever; when that finally ended, severe coughing took its place x_x
It even reached a point where I coughed while actually using cough drops :(

Though, after a few days of rest, I've gotten somewhat better; however, i'm still recovering for the most part.
With that said, a majority of my price check updates may get slightly delayed for the time being.

I sincerely apologize if this causes any inconveniences.

Hopefully, i'll be able to regain pace soon enough..

Thanks for taking the time to read this message,

Numerical: 2.5~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Flame Auras have been Supply Depot released multiple times.
November 13 - Flame Aura had been Depot released at 6000CE from 4PM to 6PM.
November 17 - Flame Aura had been Depot released at 6000CE from 6PM to 8PM.
Sometime Mid-Late December 2013 - Supply Depot Sales were re-introduced and Flame aura was Depot released at 7500CE for about one day.

Fun Fact: Flame Auras were primarily obtained through "Featured Auctions" before being Supply Depot released; often reaching 1 million crowns at minimum. Ironically, what had once been seen as the aura's minimum value is now considered its maximum value. This is how 'Supply Depot Sales' affected the value of 'Flame Auras'.

Throughout January 2014, numerous flame auras were frequently sold in an 8KCE - 10KCE range. This was also the month when most of the aura's re-inflation occurred.
This inflation inevitably slowed down sometime after the start of February; eventually shifted into a "Stabilization" stage; where its present value gains a steady stance in the game's market. Please be cautious though, this does change its risk of being re-released again.
Thus, with that in mind, I will point out the complete obvious and recommend selling the aura before it's potentially re-released.

Also, please keep in mind that there is no "Guarantee" that it would actually be re-released again. This is an assumption based on relevant facts. Whether or not you are willing to take any risk is completely up for you to ultimately decide.

I merely help by attempting to provide a general idea on an item's economic status through the use of suitable/appropriate information.

Difficulty of Selling: Moderate~
Numerical: 2~
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Volcanic Valkyrie Wings have been Supply Depot released before.
Therefore, in regards to the item itself, I wouldn't really consider is an 'easy' sale; though, for the most part, it can't really be considered a 'difficult' sale either. After gaining a lot of feedback from relevant sellers/merchants, the 'sale difficulty was averaged around 'more-or-less moderate'.

It doesn't really have any constant 'demand'; and, as a result, hasn't inflated much in terms of value.
However, it still retains a decent buyers market; which, depending on the person, tends to make selling a tad easier.

In addition, selling this specific item above max value is possible; however, that is considered 'Very Difficult' since it would usually require finding a serious buyer. Of which, tends to be really hard to find in general.

On a side note, from my own personal experience, I sold a pair of Volcanic Valkyrie wings at 10.5kCE around a month ago.

Item: Shadow Valkyrie Wings
Unique Variants: N/A
Accessories: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling
Is it worth: N/A

Estimated Market Value: [Controversial]
Buyers tend to target the 13KCE - 20KCE range.
Sellers tend to target the 20KCE - 30KCE range.

Difficulty of Selling: Easy - Very Difficult
Numerical: 1 ~ 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Originally, (Unbound) Shadow Valkyrie Wings were worth over 45KCE BEFORE re-release.
Shadow valkyrie wings were partially re-introduced during the later part of October 2013; when the Obsidian Event occurred.

Why?
Simply because Obsidian Prize Boxes had a chance of shadow accessories; of which, included shadow valkyrie wings.

Then, on November 17, 2013, Shadow Valkyrie Wings were Supply Depot released at 7,500CE; this practically secured a permanent crash in its market value.
After it was removed from the supply depot, it instantly re-inflated to a 9KCE - 13KCE range for a short period of time. About a week or two after the sales, it started to slowly, though steadily, re-inflate in value.

For most of December, Shadow Valkyrie Wings were often seen being sold/bought in the 10KCE - 15KCE range.
This changed in January; to be specific, around the start of the new rose promotion.

The new rose promotion attracted a ton of new buyers into the market; thereby boosting the demand for a lot of upper-end items considerably.
If you haven't guessed it by now, Shadow Valkyrie Wings were also one of the affected upper-end items. Increased buyer competition and excessive bid warring caused the accessory to easily sell in the 20KCE - 30KCE range; both in the Auction House and on Street. (Note: Most of these sales occurred in the Auction House; CE equivalent of Crowns was used for reference data. Crown/CE conversion rates at the time had been around 65crs - 70crs per 1CE.)

This inflation correlated, specifically, with the new rose event. In which, when the rose event ended, so did the large amount of buyer demand.

What exactly happened to cause this price controversy?
Sellers retained the mindset of selling around the high 20KCE - 30KCE range; mainly because it actually did sell in that range during the event.
Buyers started to target the lesser end of this range and below; mostly because demand dropped and there was less buyer competition.

Presently, sales vary. Difficulty will differ depending on the price you decide to sell at. Naturally, higher price means higher difficulty while lower price means lesser difficulty. Best of luck~

Item: Valkyrie Wings (Regal, Toasty, Heavy)
Unique Variants: N/A
Accessories: N/A
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Energy
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling
Is it worth: N/A

Estimated Market Value: [325KCrs - 475KCrs]

Difficulty of Selling: Moderate - Very Difficult
Numerical: 2 ~ 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Basic History of Regular Valkyrie Wings:
Originally 10KCE average when prismatic/shadow valks were around 40KCE - 55KCE, volc valks were at 30KCE average, and divine valks were valued around 35KCE - 45KCE. All of which was BEFORE Supply Depot Sales.

1) Regular Valkyrie Wings crashed when Supply Depot Sales released Divine/Prismatic Valkyrie Wings.
2) Regular Valkyrie Wings crashed even more when Supply Depot Sales released Shadow/Volcanic Valkyrie Wings.
3) Regular Valkyrie Wings primarily regained value when either prismatic, divine, volcanic, or shadow valkyrie wings regained value.

Current value is rather stable. This will likely change depending on what is released and/or re-released in the future.

General rule of trade: (Specifically for Regular Valkyrie Wings)
The more popular colors tend to be priced in the 'upper' end of the estimated price range.
The less popular colors tend to be priced in the 'lower' end of the estimated price range.

Sale difficulty differs depending on the price you attempt to sell at.

That price check was made 4 - 5 months ago and is no longer accurate. Like i previously mentioned there, it's an "Obtainable" item.
Therefore, over the course of 4 to 5 months, it has slowly been deflating in value.

Important Update - 2/23/2014

Ello,

Due to sudden changes in the market, I need to pause all price check requests for the time being.
I sincerely apologize if this causes any issues at all.

Once the Supply Depot sales are over, I'll probably wait for the market to calm down and stabilize a bit before price checking again.
In which, depending on the magnitude of items affected, the pause may last anywhere between 3 - 14 days.
As you can probably guess, less items affected means a shorter pause while more items affected means a longer pause.

Generally, the dead market being stimulated through flash sales is kind of a good thing; although the value of most upper end items can easily be devastated as a result. So yeah... Mixed feelings :/

Any questions, comments, and/or concerns? Feel free to ask In-Game or on this forum's thread.

Thanks,
Raptor-Zy

Potential Values
Gear Wise Perspective: 17KCE - 22KCE
Wealth Based Perspective: 27.5KCE - 35KCE
Rarity/2nd Gear Perspective: 23KCE - 28KCE

Difficulty of Selling/Buying/Finding: Very Difficult+
Numerical: 4+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Prismatic Halo was during both the 1st and 2nd Supply Depot Sales.
Sometime Mid-Later September - Prismatic Halo was on sale in depot at 4,000CE for the duration of the 1st Depot Sale.
November 12 - Prismatic Halo at 4,000CE from 6PM to 8PM
Present Day - Averaged 8KCE - 10KCE market when unbound; though risks re-release.

Prismatic Glow Eyes, when unbound, maintained a Large Value Range of 700kcrs - 2.1mcrs for many months.
This was until January 2014, when some of the game's items got hacked and duplicated. Of those items, Prismatic Glow eyes was included.
Hundreds entered the Auction House at ridiculously low prices; same thing happened for iron wolf tails, silver keys, and Lazy Brown Gobblesnipes. There were probably a few other affected items; I don't remember them all so i'm not entirely sure.
Anyways, as of now, a fair number of them are still floating in the market. The value didn't necessarily crash; it's just a lot more difficult to sell at higher prices. Most sell in the 900kcrs - 1.2mcrs range recently; often to more-or-less serious buyers.
Dusky Mech'tennas make a very minor difference in value. And yes, prismatic mech'tennas would make this piece a ton more valuable. Well, that's if pris mech's remain rare. With depot sales around, the high value of all rare accessories are at risk. o~o

The double-max is nice; although freeze is a lesser valued max while pierce is an upper valued max. Still, its a rare combo, so it's nice nonetheless.

Anyways, just so you're aware, bound accessories always lose value compared to their unbound versions. Most players prefer unbound versions for obvious reasons. So, depending on the item, the loss can be as low as 5% and as high as 50%. Basically, the better it looks, the less value is lost.

As for the sale/buy/find difficulty, it would likely be very difficult on all aspects. The game's market for gear, in general, is incredibly slow.

Item risks deflating a bit if prismatic halo is ever re-released again. Not too sure on prismatic glow eyes; as for UV's, well those have been stable for more than a year. That won't change unless an update suddenly changes the gear market :s

Now then, for the straight-forward potential values explanations:
Gear Wise Perspective: This is based on PvE/PvP aspects. Generally, players tend to use Chaos Cloak with Black Kat Cowl; devaluing the use of Chaos Hoods toward an extent. Accessories aren't considered highly from this standpoint.
Wealth Based Perspective: Disregards practicality/use; based solely on the unbound values minus loss when bound alongside combined max UV rarity.
Rarity/Wealth/2nd Gear Perspective: Then there's the balanced perspective. Where some practicality, rarity, and general worth are mostly considered. I can't say entirely since there's still a bit of contradictory feedback on this part.

Hope this info somehow helps ^^

Estimated Market Value: [Semi-Controversial]

-Potential Values-
Gear Wise Perspective: [20KCE - 28KCE]
Wealth Based Perspective: [29KCE - 35KCE]

If you want my personal opinion, 28KCE/29KCE seems like a strong average/middle-ground.
Of course, the reason why I put 'controversial' is because a lot of the merchant feedback I received had differing views.
And yes, not only do I research an item when price checking, I also get the feedback of many known/experienced spiral knight merchants to maintain accuracy.

General Difficulty: High~/Very Difficult+
Numerical: 3~ | 4+
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)
(Varies; read "Price Checker Note's" for further details.)

Price Checker Note's:
Neat item.

Fun fact: Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were one of the first accessories to be depot released. Right before it was depot released, Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were at 45KCE - 55KCE market. The depot released it at 3,800CE; basically, the first depot sale crashed over 90% of its value.

Depot History:
Mid-Late September 2013 - Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were depot released at 3,800CE
November 13, 2013 - Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were depot released at 5,000CE; from 8PM - 10PM
February 21, 2014 - Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were depot released at 8,200CE; from 5PM - 6PM

If it isn't obvious enough, Supply Depot Sales inflated the item's base value. This is kind of ironic, since depot released stuff is usually expected to inflate when there is no active depot sale.

After the 1st (First) Depot Sale, Prismatic Valkyrie Wings re-inflated to around 7KCE - 10KCE average.
After the 2nd (Second) Depot Sale, Prismatic Valkyrie Wings re-inflated to around 9KCE - 15KCE average.
Around Mid-January to Mid-February, there was an increased buyer demand for Shadow, Divine, & Prismatic Valkyrie Wings; jumping the values for prismatic/divine to 10KCE - 20KCE for a limited time. Peak was around Late-January; and slowly diminished until..
The 3rd (Third) Depot Sale; when the re-release of Many Valkyrie wings halted the inflation and crashed item's back to a 'base value'. In which, Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were Supply Depot Re-released at 8,200CE from 5PM - 6PM. (Supply Depot Price is considered a 'base value' for most items. Since many players aren't willing to sell depot items less than the original depot price. Please be aware that this doesn't apply to all supply depot items; just as there are many Under-price depot released items, there were also some over-priced items.)
Presently, the average value of Prismatic Valkyrie Wings is around 10KCE market.

Hacked Aura, although really valuable, has a really basic history. It became rarer and rarer; inflating to a peak of 100KCE in value before being supply depot released.
Around the start of December 2013, Hacked Aura was depot released at 15,000CE. After being removed from supply depot, it re-inflate to 19KCE - 21KCE almost instantly. Presently, its average value tends to be 20KCE - 25KCE for buyers. 22.5KCE - 30KCE for sellers. More-or-less, it depends on the perspective of the buyer or seller.

In terms of Value Only, Curse Max is one of the lowest valued while Shock Max is one of the highest value.
Not going to go into detail about practicality; because there's a lot of controversial perspectives there.

As you should be aware by now, Bound Accessories always lose value. The amount value lost always depends on how nice/compatible it looks when bound.

If you read through the first price check, then you should know what Gear Wise and Wealth Based Perspectives are.

Difficulty for Selling/Buying would probably be High~ if you go for the Gear Wise Perspective.
Difficulty for Selling/Buying would probably be Very Difficult+ if you go for the Wealth Based Perspective.
Difficulty for Finding is Very Difficult+ regardless. (Finding a specific piece tends to be very difficult in general)

Hope this info helps ^^

In terms of value, Pierce High and Fire max are both high-end UV's. Their values were incorporated into the item's potential market values.
Dusky vertical vents add a bit of value; though nothing considerable.

Gear/Wealth Perspectives are self-explanatory. If you'd like a refresher, then:
Gear Wise Perspective: This is based on PvE/PvP aspects. Accessories aren't considered highly from this standpoint.
Wealth Based Perspective: Disregards practicality/use; based solely on the unbound values minus loss when bound alongside UV values.

There isn't really much else to explain here. Hope the info helps ^^

Difficulty of Selling/Buying/Finding: Very Difficult~

Price Checker Note's:
Woo, more explanations.

Prismatic Cat tail was one of the first supply depot released items. I'm pretty sure it was really rare prior to being supply depot released; since I have practically no data on its market value Pre-Depot Sale.

Mid-Late September 2013 - Prismatic Cat Tail was depot released at 3,200CE
November 17, 2013 - Prismatic Cat Tail was depot released at 4,200CE; from 12AM - 6AM
February 23, 2014 - Prismatic Cat Tail was depot released at 4,800CE; from 5AM - 6AM

Re-inflation value averages around 6.5KCE - 10KCE after each supply depot sale. With most sales leaning to the lesser end.
As an added reminder, this is based on its unbound value.

Prismatic Valkyrie Wings were already explained; so i'll move on to Sunshine Aura.

Unless my memory is foggy, I believe sunshine aura was around 1mcrs - 1.5mcrs average, more-or-less, before it was depot released.
It was depot released at 10KCE.. Yeah, sorry. I forgot to track when; I only got info on how much it was depot released at :/

Also, around Late-December 2013, Sunshine aura was re-released during the "Solstice Event".
Details about that Solstice event are here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Solstice_Prize_Box_Promotion_December_2013

Sunshine Aura doesn't have a lot of 'buyer' demand; as a result, it hasn't really inflated much.
Present market value is averaged around 900kcrs - 1.3mcrs.

As for the UV's, Normal High is usually considered an above-average UV while Fire Max is considered an Upper-End UV. The 'combined rarity' adds a bit to the value.

Overall, the item is nice regardless :D

Hmm, in all honesty, storm items have a really straightforward history.

Wings of Fury was 10KCE - 15KCE start of storm event; eventually inflating to around 20KCE nearing the end of storm event. It reached a peak of 25KCE - 30KCE few weeks after storm event; then deflated down to 20KCE average. Re-inflated a tad bit and has been stable in value for months.
Odd enough, storm items were the most demanded during and soon after the storm event; after enough time passed, the demand gradually fell. The values stabilized because the items were still rare; however, a lot of merchants stockpiled mantles/armors/fury wings. This prevented most storm items from ever 'seriously' inflating.

Presently, it's considered a difficult sale. This is not due to the item itself; rather, most rich players that would want wings of fury already have them. Still, the occasional buyer does appear every now and then; however, from a seller's perspective, this is mostly due to luck.
So, with that in mind, best of luck ^^

Is it Worth: Aggro aura/Power pistons
Well, if you're trading wings of fury for Aggro Aura/Power Pistons, then yes.
Do keep in mind though, it would be in your favor because Aggro Aura and Power Pistons are currently worth more than wings of fury.

Back-Up Copy

The Following is a Back-Up Copy of an In-Game Mailed Request/Response.

Item: Wolver Cap
Unique Variants: Freeze Low, Elemental Max
Accessories: N/A
Is it worth: selling?
Price Check in Crowns or Energy: Both
Buying, Selling, Or Curious: Selling

Estimated Market Value: [2,000CE - 3,000CE] OR [136KCrs - 204KCrs]
Estimated Average Value: [2,500CE] OR [170KCrs]

Difficulty of Selling: High+/Very Difficult
Numerical: 3+ ~ 4
(Scale used is 1 - 5; Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth it)

Price Checker Note's:
Now for the interesting part.

UV values for most items usually go like this:
Sleep > Shock/Fire > Normal > Pierce/Shadow/Elemental > Stun/Freeze > Poison/Curse
Please be aware that this ONLY applies to Equal Level UV's. (e.g. Max, High, Medium, or Low.)
(If you intend to use this scale; be sure to remember that "Max compared to Max", "High compared to High", "Med compared to Med", Etc. Things like "Max compared to High" does not work with this scale".)

For example, Sleep MAX > Shock/Fire MAX
However, Shock/Fire MAX = Sleep HIGH.
(This is in terms of value only)

All Low UV's, except sleep, are usually worth 3kcrs - 10kcrs at most; or 44CE - 147CE (Estimated).
Low UV's are the most common and least effective; and as such, rarely made any "real" difference value-wise.
(68Cr to 1CE scale was used; prices may differ if Energy market changes.)

Therefore, it's inefficient to 'ratio' Low UV's with Max/High/Med UV's

Now I shall explain Max/High/Med UV's market relation ;o

Simple: Max > High > Med
Semi-Simple/Complex: Max/100% > High/33%-10% > Med/3.33%-1%
Complex: Max is Full Potential Value > High is a Third to a Tenth of Max's Value > Medium is a Third to a Tenth of High OR a Third-Hundredth to One Hundredth of Max

Remember, this applies to Individual UV Types only.
Example: Poison Max > Poison High > Poison Med

This ratio relation DOES NOT work with Inter-UV Types.
(Like, for example, using this system would make Curse High > Sleep Med. However, that would be incorrect; cause Sleep Med would have more value than Curse High.)

Now, we'll go back to the original UV Value scale:
Sleep > Shock/Fire > Normal > Pierce/Shadow/Elemental > Stun/Freeze > Poison/Curse

For Wolver Caps/Coats, It changes to:
Sleep > Shock/Fire > Normal/Pierce > Shadow > Elemental > Stun/Freeze > Poison > Curse
Generally, depending on the item, the scale shifts/changes accordingly. This is because certain UV's have different value on different items.

Elemental is usually valued below-average for Wolver Caps/Coats; mostly because it only compliments Vog and lacks use on Snarbolax/Skolver.
It's ironic since Vog is the most common 5* wolver gear; though has the lowest UV rate.

Population-Wise: Vog > Skolver > Snarbolax
UV-Wise: Snarbolax/Skolver > Vog

More players tend to Maximize UV's on Snarbolax and Skolver rather than Vog; therefore, UV's that are best suited for Vog generally lack market. It becomes even worse considering that the gear market is really, really slow right now.

In which, it's generally considered a "difficult to very difficult" sale. Really just depends on your luck; if you're lucky enough, it might not be difficult at all. Otherwise, don't worry too much about it.

Also, the UV market is considered stable at the moment. Incredibly slow; though still stable.
Any updates that affect gear, like the upcoming gunner update, might potentially change the UV market.
However, this really depends on what changes are made and to what extent.
Basically, if gear updates do bad the UV market will likely die; if gear updates actually improve content, then maybe the UV market won't be as slow anymore.. yeah, uh, that's wishful thinking and is only a possibility rather than a guarantee... A merchant can still dream, right?..

Is It Worth: selling?
Well it still has decent value; therefore, yes. It's probably worth selling.
Just be cautious and don't invest too much time into selling; if you put too much effort it probably won't be worth it.
So, with that in mind, I recommend casually selling it. Mostly because finding a buyer for gear takes more 'luck' than 'effort'.
Best of luck with whatever you decide :D

Update: Limited Time Event

Ello,

I decided to incorporate an interesting limited time event.. Free Blunt Price Checks~!
Available only from March 8, 2014 to March 15, 2014.

No Details; No Worries.
Why? Because each check will still maintain accuracy! You won't get the long/detailed explanations though.
Woohoo!~

Although I ask that you please use the proper format when requesting checks though; I need the thread to remain organized please. ^^
Thanks in advance~

So yeah, the simplicity will probably make this event do-able. If not, then i'll likely shorten the event's time span.

Otherwise,
Challenge Accepted

Blunt Price Checks ~ 3/16/2014

Ello,
Blunt Price Checks as of 3/16/2014

---
In-Game Name: Zipb
Prismatic Trojan Tail = 7.5KCE - 10.5KCE; Very Difficult Sale since Trojan tail's are unpopular
Polar Vertical Vents = 750CE - 2KCE; High~ Sale since polar items have a decent market
Divine/Volcanic Warden Helm/Armor = 2KCE - 3.5KCE; High+ Sale since warden items have been losing buyers in the market (The recent promo's are way more popular than the Trojan promo; also, Helm > Armor in terms of value)

---
In-Game Name: Uname-It
Snarbolax Coat w/ Shadow Max, Normal Med, Hacked Aura, & Shadow Valkyrie Wings = 32.5KCE - 39KCE; High+ Sale (The item will probably attract a fair amount of buyers; however, do keep in mind that not many buyers can afford it. So basically finding a potential buyer isn't hard; finding a buyer who can afford it probably will be.)

Black Kat Cowl = 19KCE - 21kCE; Medium ~ High Sale (When there's enough buyer demand, can reach an upwards of 20KCE - 25KCE average. Otherwise, it's generally around the 20KCE mark; more-or-less. Tends to be a moderate sale; although it can turn difficult if you got bad timing or are unlucky.)

Prismatic Halo = 10KCE - 11KCE; High~ Sale (Unless i'm mistaken, i don't believe OOO has re-released prismatic halo recently. Therefore it's 'kind-of' in a stable market range in the present market; though that'll definitely changed if any halos are re-released/depot released. Generally, it should have enough players in the buyer's market to be considered a 'moderate' sale; although the market can get tedious, so I marked is as more-or-less 'Difficult'.)

Rose Regalia Prize Box = 4.5KCE - 5.75KCE; Moderate~/High Sale (Most players prefer to simply buy the rose pieces they want; still, the box still retains a decent amount of market. Inflated slightly since it was dis-continued; this will naturally correlate to the values of garnet/moonstone/malachite chaps & tabards. Basically, if those rose pieces inflate, box will too; likewise, if those rose pieces deflate, box will as well.)

Ancient Box = 3.5KCE - 5KCE; Moderate+/High Sale. Similar concept to how rose boxes are valued; just with ancient items instead of rose items. Rose is slightly more popular than ancient.

Garnet Chapeau = 8.5KCE - 13.5KCE; Moderate ~ High Sale. Difficulty depends mostly at what it's priced at; less price/easier sale and high price/harder sale.
Garnet Tabard = 1.5KCE - 2.5KCE; High+ Sale. Tabard's tend to be a lot more difficult to sell than chaps. They also inflate at a far slower rate.

Gran Faust w/ Attack Speed Increase High = 10KCE - 12KCE; High~ Sale since it has a good market even though the gear market is mostly dead.

---
In-Game Name : Fall-Hellscream
Snarbolax Set w/ Freeze High on Both = 11KCE - 14.5KCE; Moderate ~ Very Difficult Sale (Snarbolax in general has a pretty good buyers market; although, in all honesty, freeze UV's have one of the slowest markets.)

Umbra driver w/ Asi Med, Gremlin Med, Construct Low = 5.25KCE - 6.5KCE; High+ Sale (Nice item; though 5* guns are getting a tad more difficult to sell because players are after base version guns-(2*/3*) to upgrade to the new guns when the gunner update is released.)

---
IGN: Ruffs
Snarbolax Cap w/ Normal Med, Prismatic Halo = 9KCE - 11KCE; Moderate ~ High Sale (As a fair warning, the gear market is terribly slow. The item is good though; so it will probably just depend on your luck.)

Divine Avenger w/ CTR Med = 5.5KCE - 6.75KCE; High ~ Very Difficult Sale (Divine Avengers and Gran Fausts are sought out for ASI UV's. In which, even though CTR is pretty good on DA's, it tends to be really hard to sell.)

Spiral Demo Suit w/ Stun High = 700CE - 1.25KCE; High~ Sale

Ello,

Sorry; was away for tests last week and didn't get a chance to actively check forums. So this response was really late as a result :/
Sent a refund of the fee + minor compensation; again, my apologies.

As for the price check,
Regular Mecha Wings usually have a price range of 10kcrs - 30kcrs. (20kcrs average)

So yes, it's worth selling for 33kcrs.

One again, sorry about being really late >-<

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns,

Thanks,
