Battle sprite ultimates, what was OOO thinking when coming up with the appearance of battle sprite ultimates skill evolutions?
For example, me and my 2 friends each picked 1 of the 3 sprites, and when we looked at this thread:
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/85618
1) We all were short of shocked, I the dragoon user upon looking at the ultimates realized 1 thing:
Either my dragon will look like Salvador from borderlands with a beatnik beard and beefy arms but having the skills I want, OR I will pick the skills I don't want and make my Dragon look bad *** and kewl.
2) My first friend picked the makewrath, he really liked how it was going on the appearance, until he took a look at the thread as stated above:
At first sight he was like: ''wtf!?'' the maskewrath looks like an abomination at best, or goofy's ghost at worst.
3)My second friend the kitty user (can't spell the name) took a look at it and he was ok, with it but still had a small problem.
Upon fully upgrading the kitty, it will look like an alien or a bug, what's up with that? I thought it was an Angel.
Also, what is up with giving all ultimates arms? I mean, who wants a kitty with huge beefy arms?
One more thing: Why force players to pick between appearance or skills? I completely reformed my plan of ultimates upon looking at the appearance just to look good.
P.S
(some might take this seriously so I tell you from now that it is a joke)
What drug was the artist high on when he designed the ultimate sprites, and where can I find it?
Just pick the most useful one and who cares about appearance? Or just pick the coolest looking one and who cares about usefulness?
