BORDERLANDS
Definitely Borderlands. Take everything you love about Diablo II and turn it into a shooter, then make it hilarious. I cannot recommend this game enough.

One of my most favourite game is Megaman X5 for the playstation
Mostly like being zero and slashing the robots into bits with his fast Z-saber and Blasting foes and nuking them by the almighty Megaman himself..S
Dragon ball Z budokai tenkaichi 3 is one of my most favourite fighting combat game by punching foes as fast as the speed of light and do ultimate beams..
Super smash flash 2 for the PC is also a good game of mine.... There are characters same as SSF2 but.. there is megaman, Goku, and more...
Kirby returns to dreamland for the Nintendo Wii is also a favourite game of mine because by playing it you can feel its a really good game with awesome graphics, also it is alot fun too...
Spiral Knights- Best online game ever..
Pokemon X and Y is good aswell.... it is quite fun making YOUR pokemon stronger than the others and make it stronger, also can catch ANY other pokemon and make THAT STRONG aswell...
Super mario 3d world is a fun 3d game for the WII U.. which is very fun since you can explore alot.. graphics= Awesome..
Shadow the hedgehog is a very fun game aswell... lets you pick up guns and shoot at the enemies.. if you didnt want em.. use the al-mighty shadow's powers :D Choas control, spear and BLAST!

Lemme see... I was a nerd like some time ago and I have many favourite video games. It's really hard to rate them though.
1. Megaman games
2. Mario games (all, either Super Mario Bros. or Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time)
3. Spiral Knights ex equo with Team Fortress 2 ex equo with Minecraft (but it's dependent on the server I'm in)
4. some Legend of Zelda, the (cause this is the proper spelling, isn't it?) games
5. Contra ex equo with Super Castlevania IV
