Game doesn't care about your enemies health and wellbeing

Basically the game does this:

The Game: "Sup bro, how much damage does that sweeet looking GF do?
Is there any damage % bonus?
Is there any poison debuff bonus?
Is there any deathmark debuff bonus?
Did the attack hit?"
You: "uh yeah all that stuff"
The Game: "Ok let me just record how much damage you did."
You: "kk tyvm lol XD"

Meanwhile...
The Game: "hey buddy this guy just hit you for 1000 damage"
Guy: "awww but I only have 10 health left!"
The Game: "yeah um I already told him he did 1000 damage, sorry bro lol!"
Guy: "pffffffff ok...."

Huzzah.

Ah well,

I thought OOO had some logic, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. But now I am curious about the game mechanics.

Anyway, my guild,The Halcyons Odyssey, and I frequently do LD to collect data about resistances, dmg types and such. If any of you are inerested in helping us expand our data sheet, or if you have any data which you have tested to add, you can just leave a comment here or contact me in-game, IGN Scirio. I'll just publish the results in a week or two.

Sure.

Sword damage.
Gun damage.
Bomb damage.
Statuses. (T3 Lockdown is at depth 25.)

The black values have been manually tested, but the green values are merely extrapolated and may be off by a damage point.
