I struggle to move until I see my 2 pets coming back. I hear Gardevoir saying "Eevee, the robot is on the next floor, we better prepare for it..." I was happy that my pets came back but I said "I am not in good condition right now but thanks for getting my pets back Gardevoir."

Fennel pushed the fabric into Gardevoir's hands and walked towards the elevator. Taking out a vial filled with liquid fire, he slipped it past the safety rails of the elevator down to the next floor. A faint shatter of glass was heard, along with a mechanical grunt of surprise. A milisecond later, the flames died out.
Hmm. They should have lasted for at least 20 seconds.
Walking back, the Stranger said,
"Little ones, this creature must be quite strong to have so easily captured all those Snipes and Eevee's two pets. I do not think we can defeat it with merely blunt force. If that happens, our missions is to first rescue the captured creatures. My allies are yours, little ones, and all of Haven will be our ally when we return with the Snipes."
The stranger Fennel gave me a fabric to wrap around Eevee. I wrap it around carefully and tied it up enough so no-one could easily hurt her. Fennel came back and said "Little ones, this creature must be quite strong to have so easily captured all those Snipes and Eevee's two pets. I do not think we can defeat it with merely blunt force. If that happens, our missions is to first rescue the captured creatures. My allies are yours, little ones, and all of Haven will be our ally when we return with the Snipes."
I then said "We could have a problem then, the cages where everywhere and the only place that didn't have cages was an arena looking place. We would need someone to distract the robot and the rest of us to free the sprites and snipes." I then went to Fennel and said quietly "We might need to be careful for both robots, the blue one is still suspicious..."
I was feeling pain when Gardevoir was wrapping the fabric around me and when it was done, the stranger and the almirian was talking about something. I took out some materials and fed them to my pets who were hungry. I said to them "Sorry Light Seraphynx, Sorry Dark Maskeraith." The pets felt bad as well so it was equal...
I stand up and start moving towards the lift. When I reached the lift, I was wondering where Bowie went unless... unless he is working with the collector... I look down and see a ton of cages. I thought "The robot seems strong but, it might have one goal..."
I hear the almirian coming with some pets which made me angry and I was so close to just attacking them but I resisted. When no-one was looking, I went down to the next floor where the collector was and started to move the cages to a farther into the floor and would give the others a higher chance of encountering the collector. After a few minutes I finished it off and quietly went back up by the lift and went back to my spot...
OOC: Robo, Gardevoir already went to the elevator before you did, so you couldn't just go down and do what you did without him seeing you. Hooray for communication confusion!
Fennel whispered back, "Little one, I have been here for many winters. I know when a creature is deceitful, and that machine seems to be insinuating itself. It may backstab us at any time. Be on your guard, for though we all will stand together, it seems to be of exceptional strength."
He walked towards the elevator and spoke to Gardevoir. "Little one, be on your guard. I have no feelings of mutual trust towards that cyan mechanism, and it may betray us."
Fennel casually drew out his Argent Peacemaker, attached the scope, and carefully fired a muffled shot at the Collector, aiming to test its defense. If harmlessly skittered off, barely leaving a dent. The robot didn't even notice it!
"Let us go, little ones," Fennel motioned towards the elevator. "Since Eevee is injured, she is not fit for battle, and should employ herself in rescuing the trapped Snipes and other creatures. Gardevoir, stay by her side and help her evacuate the creatures. The robot is nigh impenetrable, so I shall only employ means to distract it long enough."
It seemed Fennel understood how dangerous the blue robot was and when he tried to hit the robot below the floor, it didn't seem to do anything. He was talking about Eevee and I agreed to that because of Eevee's bad condition... I get onto the lift and said "When everyone is ready, we should try and beat the robot.
I hear a conservation between Fennel and Gardevoir when I see Fennel trying to hit the robot underneath and when Gardevoir got on the lift, I got on the lift and waited for the robot and Fennel.
Fennel leapt nimbly onto the elevator, a blade in one hand, a stun vial in the other. Pressing the button, the lift sank into the next floor.
A dusty, barren, dimly lit area. It would be easy to get lost in such a place.
"Little ones, stay together. You never know what may be hidden in the shadows." As if to prove Fennel's point, an enormous Spookat rushed at them. Without flinching, Fennel took a step forward, slicing the undead in half as it sailed by.
"Hurry. Let us go, before more fierce creatures detect our presence."
I hear the almirian and stranger mentioning something about splitting apart and I thought "Perfect, when the almirian is distracted rescuing those pests, I could hit her into empty cages and that would either trap her, kill her or at least injury her badly." I got onto the lift once I saw the almirian and the other female on the lift... I see the stranger going on and the lift started to go down. I pulled out my Omega shield and jumped down.
As I was going to land, I activated my Omega shield to absorb the fall and it barely survived. I heard a spookat dying and thought "Things keep getting better!"
As Fennel stepped on the lift, he pulled out another vial and pushed the down button. When we reached the floor, a spookat attacked us but Fennel just killed it. We needed to advance and find the cages where the pets are and watch out for the robot. I look behind us but I see the robot missing and I got worried...
When the lift stopped on the next floor and after a spookat tried to attack us, I thought "Where are those cages..." I slowly walked ahead and found a cage holding a drakon. I kneel down and start to pick the lock. It took a while but I was able to release the Drakon. I said to my Light Seraphynx "Use Valkyrian Aura."
OOC: Fennel uses magic by uttering words in the Ancient Language, which I took from Christopher Paolini. I'll post more about it in the OOC thread.
Stumbling upon a series of cages, Fennel whispered, "Jierda (break)." The cages shattered without a sound, the Snipes and Sprites flying away, presumably towards Haven. That is, except for one adorable Seraphynx. It mewed weakly, looking drained and fatigued. Fennel stroked it quietly and tucked it into his cloak, giving it a Blighted Bone.
Tommy MK II? A ridiculous name. What was I thinking? Nay, I'll call it…Saphira. After all, it DOES have eyes as crystal blue as the sea.
Suddenly, there was a glare of blinding light. "Blöthr (stop)!" The light stopped before anything could see it. Saphira emerged, noticeably stronger and slightly larger.
So they can siphon objects into energy, which they can then absorb and become stronger? Incredible.
And yet...something was missing. What was it?
The robot! The blue machine had mysteriously vanished before they had entered this depth! It could be stalking them...right now!!!
Fennel threw his cloak completely around him, the Phantom's nightly aura completely concealing him from sight and heat detection (whoever heard of undead having body temperatures?). "Gath un reisa du rakr (unite and raise the mist)!" An incredibly faint fog rose, not enough for sight to be blocked (though lessened to about 30 feet), but enough to condense upon machinery, hopefully slowing it down or causing a malfunction, which would alert Fennel where the machine was.
I was slowly sneaking around the floor, watching for the almirian since she was the weakest even though the other female had a cut. I was watching when I noted the stranger was missing. I sneak behind the almirian and slash at her. After I did, I run behind a corner and felt a mist developing and I thought "Stranger must have done this since the female with the cut seemed to have advanced moves that don't affect the environment.
My vision started to turn red and I thought "This mist is making my eyes easier to see..." I wondered where the collector is since all the creatures he caught have gone now... I started to move around and try to find the stranger. I found her in the same spot where I put the cages. I watch carefully for him to make the first move or if the collector attack him first.
As I was watching Eevee and waiting for her to free the Drakon, I see Fennel running deeper. After Eevee unlocked the cage she was working on, she activated her Seraphynx's aura but just as I was going to walk into it, I got hit in the back which made me fall into aura. I stand up in pain and just see the robot from behind hiding. I thought "No, that robot was a traitor! Why didn't I keep my shield up?" I struggle to move and I saw mist coming which made my eyesight go bad. I fell onto the ground and fainted from the cut...
OOC: Fennel is invisible. He's hidden from sight and heat detection, especially with this mist. That's the only thing.
Fennel stealthily continued through the depth, attempting to reunite with his comrades.
Meanwhile, Saphira was having a party in Fennel's material bag. Good thing Fennel had magically sealed it from sound and light.
A flash of red to his left! The robot was there, its claws soaked in red. Fennel felt rage build up in his system, but vented it out mentally, not physically. He knew he could probably beat the robot, but it would most definitely attract the attention of the Collector and nearby hostiles. Instead, he silently went the other way.
A glistening semicircle of yellow light enveloped him as he rounded a corner, seeing an unconscious, bleeding Gardevoir. Silently moving towards him, he removed his cloak partially and placed his hand on the wound, muttering,
"Waíse heill (be healed)." A spiral of light coursed from his palm onto the gash, blotting it and slightly closing the cut. With a sigh of fatigue, Fennel slumped down inside the bubbly shield. That blow was enormous! It took quite a dent in his energy, even as a seasoned adventurer. Replenishing himself with crystalline energy, he cast one more spell.
"Thrysta vindr (compress the air)." A breeze tickled his cheecks as an invisible barrier of rushing wind appeared around them (wind rushing in a clockwise manner), which would at least moderately hinder the robot from any more attacks. With an adjustment and a little more energy, Fennel modified it to orbit them and not be stationary, allowing them to move.
I guess I can hold this for...a few minutes? Then I'll have to release it so that I still have enough energy to fight. My Crystal stores are getting low, only two hundred seventeen more shards...I really should have stocked up on it.
"Little ones," Fennel bowed as the healing magic faded, along with most of Gardevoir's wound. "The robot has turned on us, as I feared. I have set up a gust to hinder his movements, but I fear it will not be nearly enough."
Saphira emerged from his pouch, significantly larger. Peering inside his previously teeming makeshift bag full of 3* materials, he saw only an empty space. Fennel stroked it, eliciting a purr of contentment as it settled on his right shoulder. It began to groom itself, content as if it had all the world.
You must have been starving.
"Additionally, little one, I notice that you have a similar kind to mine here," Fennel pointed at Eevee's Seraphynx and then back at his own. "Would you mind enlightening me on its skills and purpose?"
I see Gardevoir falling onto the ground bleeding and I turn in the direction of it and it was the robot I revived. It run away and I said "T-t-this is my fault, if I never used my electric magic attack on the robot, this would never happened." I see Fennel coming in and seemed to use a different kind of magic to slowly heal Gardevoir. After doing more magic, a seraphynx came out and Fennel then asked "Additionally, little one, I notice that you have a similar kind to mine here," he then pointed to my light seraphynx and then his own and said "Would you mind enlightening me on its skills and purpose?"
I said "M-m-my light seraphynx has Disintegration Ray, Iron Heart Attack and Valkyrian Aura which it's using just now. As for the purpose, Light Seraphynx and Dark Maskeraith have been my pets since I came to Haven." I then said quietly "I-I-I need to kill that robot since I was the one who activated it. I thought it was a unique mecha knight kit but I was wrong... I have to be the one to kill it but my condition is terrible..."
Vesta sighed, as the voices faded into the distance. She'd been making her way through the glorious landscape for - how long? - and she was probably not going to get back to her pod. She'd left her (broken, admittedly) com unit inside it, and there was no indication of any life, intelligent/friendly or otherwise.
On reflection, though, she was becoming more aware, as the minutes passed, that this was not so. She could hear faint noises, resembling growls, and she had noticed shadows diving from cover to cover. She thought she had seen glowing eyes, but no, that couldn't be-
Knights don't scream, was her only thought as a large, bluish-white shape leapt from a bush and sank its fangs into her right arm. Keeping in the shriek that rose to her throat, she shook the beast off and staggered back, clutching her arm. Other, smaller creatures, came to join their leader, surrounding her.
It wasn't really hard dodging the slow, sharp snaps these animals made at her, but if she were caught off balance, they would be on her at once, and she hadn't a chance, facing all those wide jaws....
What was that? She whipped around to follow the flash of dazzling white she had seen somewhere among the trees, completely forgetting the threat of the pack of beasts, who, of course, were on her immediately, forcing her to the ground. The leader sank his teeth heavily into her left side, and the smaller ones were doing their job. The armour did protect her, but she would not survive for long.
Her vision blurred, and she couldn't make out where the white came from; the slender stalks of grass around her were already dyed a harsh crimson.
Honestly, be more careful.

Feravis had known the Frostifurs had shadowed the knight along with her, but the idea of facing a whole pack of them was... well, quite unnerving, to say the least. But when the knight whirled around and stared right into her face, only to be overpowered by the frigid beasts within a second, she couldn't keep still.
She charged on them, flapping her wings hard to add to her momentum. With furious swipes of her claws, snarling most of the time and biting the rest, it couldn't have been the hour it seemed when finally the small ones fled the area, many with painful wounds to attend to.
The only one left was the Alpha. They circled each other, waiting for one to make a move, until...
In a very anticlimactic manner, the Frostifur growled something like "I'll be back," and loped off with a bored expression on his face that contradicted his words. Clearly, he was used to obtaining his food with less work.
Feravis made her way back to the... knight... and curled up beside her.
Now what?
When Spanner was finished, he removed a halberd from the crafting table. "Get a load of this baby! This thing is a power halberd. It's made out of volcanic iron and powered by an eternal generator. The spearhead should deal piercing damage, the axe head should deal normal damage (and lots of it), and the hook deals shock, in addition to its usual uses. Try it out." He handed Gallon the halberd and stood back.
Jorin drew his Leviathan Blade. "Want to try out your weapon in a sparring match with me?" He winked and twirled his sword.
I start to explore throughout the floor and as I was exploring, I noticed a light source and thought "Must be where the whole party is!" I run to the light and see it was acting like a shield. I said in my robotic voice with a demonic tone "You aren't getting out of here alive! Metal Sonic will kill you!" I activate Overdrive again and started to spin into the shield and when the overdrive was about to run out, I run around a corner for the backfire to run out.
I thought "That shield is stronger than I thought." I realized my laser was fully cooled down and I went back to the 3 people. I launched the laser into the shield and it went through it. I pull out my Omega shield and pulled it up...
OOC: I know that Fennel kind of did an OP attack, but he DID sacrifice 200+ Crystal Energy to execute it, and we know that using 20 causes a knight to go full beserk and destroy everything for a few seconds.
Fennel immediately held his arms up, palms crackling with blue pulsing energy.
"LETTA (STOP)!"
Of course he couldn't fully stop the laser, as that would exhaust him, but he did manage to deflect it (use momentum against something), making it harmlessly skittering to the side.
"Stenr reisa (Raise stone)!" With a flash, all of his crystalline energy vanished, just like that. Fennel felt fatigued as the spell took it's toll on him, but continued to support the spell, sinking to his knees to conserve his strength.
An enormous pillar of stone burst out of the side of the depth, smashing into the Omega Shield of Metal Sonic. Eyes glowing, Fennel muttered words too quick and low to be discerned, making adjustments to the stonework to push the robot against the wall. His energy depleting at a rapid rate, Fennel desperately, as a last resort, used all of his energy to add even more force to the pillar, making it have an impact equivalent to getting hit by quite a few Tortodrones at the same time. Saphira mewed faintly with concern as Fennel's hands quivered, then fell on the ground, not having enough energy to move them much.
Come on...
As rock shattered from sheer pressure, Fennel weakly fell face first onto the ground, his eyes now back to normal. He fished around in his bag, trying to find a last fragment of energy to ensure the robot was destroyed. Hands grasping onto one, he raised it...
Only to fall down, unconscious from lack of energy.
I see the stranger doing something weird and he deflected my laser which annoyed me. A rock pillar removes my Omega shield and then I got pushed into the wall. The wall started to deal more damage and at the current rate, it would destroy me. I decided to activate "BLACK SHIELD" which encased me in an unbreakable shield for 8 seconds.
It run out as the last of the rock wall hit me. I look at my current condition and see my durability was at 50%. I laugh it off and said "Crafty move Stranger!" I run back to the shield which started to flicker and I saw the stranger down and said to the female standing up "You are the last one standing up!" I start to laugh manically...
I saw Fennel using a energy source I hadn't seen to try and defeat Metal Sonic. However, during the process, I noticed darkness around the area where the robot was and thought "What is that?" I see Fennel failing down when the rock walls fell down and I saw Metal Sonic coming back and I only noticed Seraphynx was in a bad spot. Metal Sonic started to taunt me and started to laugh.
I pick up the thing in his hand and crushed it. I felt pain when I crushed it and when I looked at my clothes, they seemed to give me defense as well as no cooldown. I said to Metal Sonic "Time to finish you off. You have hurt Gardevoir, made Fennel lose energy and I am the last hope. I told Light Seraphynx and Dark Maskeraith "Don't worry, I have got this." The aura goes down and I launch a few psi-blade's at Metal Sonic.
((OOC: The crystal energy you had in your hand Sandwich, I used which will give me a chance to defeat Metal Sonic. Also the defense I got was the same as Dragon scale armor and helm))
As I was gloating, Eevee launched an attack at me and I took more damage which made me fall down. I got back up and I thought "Let's finish them off." I said "Maximum Overdrive!" I started to get covered in a dangerous overdose of electricity and a large amount speed. "You won't survive, NOW DIE!!!"
((OOC: Maximum Overdrive is an upgrade to Overdrive and the things changed are: 20 seconds basic stat, causes strong shock to anyone he hits. Negative: 1 minute backfire, 1 hit KO from any attack, can't move
I see Metal Sonic getting covered in electricity and started to run into me but I dodged the first time. I said "Needle launcher" to try and counter the robot but it never did anything. Metal Sonic came charging back and just missed me again. I thought "Come on, don't give up." Metal Sonic tried it again and this time got a direct hit on me knocking me a distance away.
I see Metal Sonic running towards me but stopped half-way and wasn't moving. I look and see a deep cut in my chest and stomach. I struggle to move but I reached Metal Sonic and launched psi-blade. It hit Metal Sonic and made him blow up spectacular. I try to move towards my pets and when I reached them again, I fainted from the deep cuts.

Gallon grasped the handle of the new weapon as it was handed to him. The halberd's shaft looked to be of a Varnished wood, with faintly glowing lights linked to its base. That must have been the eternal generator Spanner was talking about. The Blade at the end took 3 on the shape of 3 Archaic shapes. Gallon held the halberd infront of him, to examine the various edges.
The Blade facing toward the floor took on the appearance of an almost Nordic design. It glinted in the lights of the medical facility, eminating a magenta glow from its edges. The opposit side took on the look of a sharper hook like addition, which arced with white lightning every so often. The main blade however was the spear point on the head of the Halberd. It glowed with the same magenta radiance as the axe, yet with a constant sheen that glinted all the way toward its razor sharp tip.
Gallon nodded at the weapon as he jabbed it a few times, took on a blocking stance, and then a few flourishes and sweeps. He turned to Spanner to commend him for the fine craftmanship...Or Gremlinship in this case.
"This is amazing. And seeing as how it can Shock on one edge due to the generator-" Gallon spun the halberd to its other side, "-and Burn with the Volcanic Ironed Axe & Spear-head...I dont know what to say". Jorin unsheathed his Leviathan blade, and began to swirl it around in the air, avoiding to hit any of the tables or equipment. He then proposed to Gallon,
"Want to try out your weapon in a sparring match with me?" Gallon nodded before holding up a finger telling him to wait. He took the sash from his shield, and wove it around the base of the weapon, letting the Purple material trail off, allowing it to flow as he swung. Clutching his new weapon, he hurried up to Jorin toward the centre of Emberlight, to test out what this spear could do.
After leaving the Bazaar with a few prolonged stares at her, Naomi strolls into the Arcade to meet Feron. She wasn't sure if the monolithic figures were to continue to remain friendly, but if they were passive as they were now, it'd be alright.
Mortis let out a sighing hiss as he walked back to the Arcade. Since he caused the sture in the Arcade with summing back a once dead man, it was his responsibility. Reaching behind him Mortis pulled his weapon out and looked it over while he walked.
I could really do with a new weapon...This one is rather dated and for lack of a better word, historic. Compared to the weapons and armor around me I am rather out dated...Something to cover my face would do wonders as well as something to make it easier to talk.
Walking into the Arcade Mortis could still hear the heart wrenching scream of the undead man. Even thou it was all normal now, it was as if the dead was still talking to him. Shaking his head Mortis placed away his weapon and looked around. Everything seemed normal, Strangers moving around and coming off elevators. However the only thing that was truly different was the fact of, the Sky Humans where still working on the elevators and others where sitting behind glowing screens of some kind.
Okay, thats new...and interesting, wonder if I could mess with it,
As if a moth to the flame, Mortis was drawn in by the light show that flashed before him. Getting closer and closer not even caring about the fact there was a Knight behind the screen.
He hits the button and pictures appear...If I did not know any better I would have said this was some kinda toy...But those look like words. What is this contraption.
Mortis kept looking over the shoulder of the Knight, having been completely intrapped by the glowing device.

I open my eyes and see Eevee falling down onto the ground. I stand up with my back still sore. I look at the pets who seemed scared. As I was going to talk to the pets, a bunch of spookats attacked me. I pulled my Crest of Almire in time and block the bites. I then used my spear charge to kill 2 of them. I turned around to fight the other kats who seemed to be fire kats. My shield never took much damage and I killed the remaining kats.
I go to Eevee and turned her around and I saw 2 cuts that where pretty deep. I drop a medical help beacon in hopes that gremlins could come and help Eevee...
Fennel groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, each lid raising seeming to be like a boulder. By sheer willpower, he rose up to his knees. Strangers had a good metabolism, and several stores of energy situated throughout their body, which ultimately led to quick recovery from wounds/illnesses, and also a fast method of regaining energy. Even so, Fennel felt like he had just been rammed by a Tortodrone. Off a cliff. 3 miles.
Weakly rummaging through his pack, Fennel grasped the tiniest fragment of energy he had ever thought significant. As it pulsed and slightly revitalized him, he probed with his mind for a source of energy which he could effectively siphon (this is usually taboo as it drains targets of their energy, which is forbidden on sentient creatures, even those that are hostile. However, Fennel never was one to follow rules if they did more harm than good. :P). A few carcasses of Kats nearby. He slowly transferred their energy to himself, and managed enough energy to stand up, wobbly. There was a medical help beacon fizzling nearby, and Eevee was down for the count, unconscious. Gardevoir was nearby, stabbing Kats like there was no tomorrow. Fennel was more than happy enough to take their energy.
Should I heal her? I don't think I could survive an attempt at healing even part of her wound. It would drain all my energy...
As his legs steadily became more stable, Fennel stood onto his full height, managing a shaky bow.
"L-Lit-Li-Little o-on-ones, d-do you req-uire assistance?" The last of the Kat corpses faded away as its energy was leeched away, allowing Fennel the dexterity to roughly rip out some fabric and slowly bind Eevee's wounds.
OOC: Before I continue the storyline with Sir Gallon, I think I'll focus on Ophelia for a while. Edolas, feel free to propose a story containing Gallon's sparring match with Jorin.
BIC: Ophelia finds Feron in the Arcade, speaking with Chief Geo Knight Wegner. "...but what are they for? They clearly influence the way the gates rotate."
"To an extent, they certainly seem to."
"It's not a natural phenomenon, I'm telling you. It's probably an intentional mechanism."
"I'm not so certain. They go straight into the pipeline. Weird stuff happens when you put different fuels in."
"Are you sure there aren't- oh, hello Stranger!" Feron straightened and saluted as he noticed Ophelia walk in. "I am Lieutenant Feron; what's your name, and how can I help you?"
Ophelia clasped her hands together, and bowed.
Not frightened by my robes? Well, these WERE meant for Apocreans anyways...
"I'll ride an elevator," replied the Stranger, who stared down at the larger-than-average peer. "Unless..."
The Stranger then took out Naomi's Cutter, holding it by the blade. The metallic claws from her robe helped in preventing any cuts on her hands, but even the bottom of the hilt was still dotted with sharp studs...
"Can you explain what is this? I found a little one in her pod not too long ago, and this was with her..."
Feron gingerly took the sword and looked it over. It certainly wasn't a Spiral Order blade. He searched his memory; what was it? He hefted it in his hand and swung it a little. It was remarkably fast, and had the curious property of making ghosts of itself whenever he moved it. Those mean-looking teeth would definitely cut- that's it!
"I believe it's called a 'Cutter.' It's a bandit's sword, not often used by members of the Spiral Order." He handed it back. "You found this in the possession of one of our knights? Most curious."
"I don't believe I know your name."
"Ophelia...and yours, li-
Pardon me, where are my manners?"
As Ophelia said this, Naomi, who was generally guided in the Arcade's direction with the help of a few other Strangers, arrived.
"Feron? Is that you?!" she called out, quickening her pace towards him and Ophelia.
After the explosion from the fight, I look and see I still had charge left. I look and see 1 of my claws, both my feet and most of my body was broken apart just showing wires. I used my non-useless claw and started to claw my way to the lift. As I started to reach the lift, my claws made a loud screeching noise which would alert anyone on the floor.
I reach the lift and pushed it, it took a few minutes but I reached it. The lift started to malfunction and dropped me down much deeper than I thought. { When Metal Sonic crashed onto the ground on depth 28, his legs and 1 of his arms broke apart. } I look around before the sight vanished and it seemed to be a citadel on fire. As I was going to disconnect, I hear heavy footsteps...

As I finished off the enemies nearby, Fennel said "L-Lit-Li-Little o-on-ones, d-do you req-uire assistance?" I said "We have a problem, Eevee won't make it and the slash's indicate the blue robot hurt her." I tried to feel her pulse but when I tried to, I got shocked. I shake my hand to remove the shock and I said "This doesn't help, Eevee is also covered in shock, we need to remove it first..." As I was shaking it, 2 pepper kats attacked me which made me suffer a burn...
I killed the 2 kats with ease but I had to remove my gear so I didn't burn up. I put it on the ground and started to put it out. After a few minutes, the items where put out but where charred and less effective. I put the burned up armor back on and killed a statikat that tried to attack us. I looked at the spear tip and it was about to break.
Before I could say anything, I started to hear scratching that made me drop my shield and spear. When the spear hit the ground though, the tip broke making it useless... I said "This is really bad, I have nothing to fight back..."

Sir Gallon and Jorin walked out onto the streets of Emberlight, Gallon standing outside the door, while Jorin was making his way over a barrier to a different side of the street. Gallon began to twirl the Halberd around at his side slowly before taking up an offensive stance. Jorin stood in a defensive stance on the opposite street, holding his Leviathan blade above his head. His other hand that held his shield, motioned it toward Gallon, telling him to come at him, and so the sparring commenced.
Gallon made off at a charge, vaulting over the barrier, and and lunging his Halberd toward Jorin. The Vanguard parried the blade, brought his own sword above his head and swung down. Gallon darted to the side, spinning around with the axe to come at Jorin's side. The Vanguard brought his shield down, and was forced back a couple of feet. He opened up again, and pointed his sword at The Lancer once more, signalling his readiness to continue. The Lancer knelt down, and jabbed his Halberd forward. Jorin brought his shield up to block, as the spear flew to his side. Jorin glanced back as the Hook was yanked back onto his sword hand, as the shock began to surge.
The Vanguard's sword arm began to spasm, loosening his grip on the Leviathan sword. The Lancer pulled himself forward using the Haberd as an aid, bringing up his shield to execute a boosted Shield Bash, knocking Jorin away from his blade. The Vanguard rolled backwards and recovered back onto his feet in the process. Gallon stood on the Leviathan Blade, smirked, and kicked the Sword toward the shocked Knight. With his arm now only tingling, Jorin grasped his Blade once more, adopting an offensive stance this time around. Gallon and Jorin held a glance for a moment, until the Vanguard made a dash toward the Lancer, spearing the attack with his blade.
Gallon brought his shield to his front, bearly defending against Jorin, and attempting to push the shield away. Gallon was pushed back a bit farther than his charge againt the Vanguard. With the sword's point still impacting the shield, Gallon tilted and pushed the shield outward, opening both his and Jorin's defences. Gallon thrust his Halberd from his waist toward Jorin's arm, where-upon his own attack met the Vanguard's Aegis. Gallon and Jorin both made a sweeping movement with their feet, tripping and forcing eachother to the ground. As Jorin arose, he found Gallon's axe head to his neck. The Lancer began to smirk, til he realised a Leviathan blade upon his own. Both warriors withdrew their arms, and helped eachother up from the ground. Beginning to laugh, they strolled over to the Gremlin Bar to buy eachother a round for good swordsmanship and disarming one-another. Spanner hurried across to see if he coud take advantage of their good moods while they lasted.
Fennel had been spending the whole time absorbing energy from the recently mutilated Kats. Now, as he finished binding Eevee's wounds, he drew his hands back involuntarily from the influx of electricity. Grinning, he placed his hands back onto the wounds. As electricity flowed through them, rejuvenating him, he mustered the energy to cast a spell that clotted the wounds, slowing the loss of blood.
Suddenly, he was aware of a scratching sound, and Gardevoir dropped his weapon, sundering the tip.
"This is really bad, I have nothing to fight back..."
Fennel quickly took out his dagger and bound it with some fabric to the hilt of the spear. Uttering an incantation, the fabric's knot was enchanted to never slip loose. He handed it back to Gardevoir, nearly stumbling. Magic for enchantments was a tricky business, and you never knew how much energy they would drain from you.
"Little one, this tool should sustain us until we are capable of escaping this Voghole. Do not worry of shattering it; the material it is consisted of is stronger than any you have seen." He pulled out his other dagger and held it in front of him, eyes on guard for anything out of the ordinary. Saphira mewed with concern and pushed against his cloak, hiding. Something was out there, and it probably wasn't benign.
Fennel gave me a dagger onto my spearless top and said "Little one, this tool should sustain us until we are capable of escaping this Voghole. Do not worry of shattering it; the material it is consisted of is stronger than any you have seen." I noticed he pulled out another dagger and I saw a seraphynx hiding as if something was scaring it.
I look behind a corner and see a rocket flying by. I blocked it with my shield but the knockback shoved me into a wall. When I got up, I saw tons of mini stones on the ground and I thought "What was that creature? What I saw, it seemed tall... OH NO, THE PET STEALING ROBOT IS HERE!" I started to run back to Eevee and Fennel but I got surprised attacked by 5 black kats. 4 of them acted like restraints biting their teeth into my skin to prevent me from moving and the other one was charging his bite up.
As I was suffering the pain, the black kat lunged at me only to be interrupted by a fireball. I look and see a Drakon flying towards us and then used a fiery move which also burned me. The black kat restraints let go and I retook my armor off for a second time but it got fully destroyed. I picked up the dagger-spear and started to fight off the black kats.
After I defeated them, the drakon seemed to be happy around me, almost as if he wanted to be my battle sprite. I start to run back to Fennel and when I reached him, I said "The robot is here, he is around this corner..." I show Fennel where the robot is and started to get worried as my back got sore again.

Before Fennel could cast a spell to free Gardevoir, a flaming creature appeared and unleashed a blazing blast of fire. It flickered and smacked the Kat with an audible gust, provoking a scream of pain from the infernal creature. Gardevoir's armor shattered as he struggled away from the horde and stumbled back, muttering about the approaching robot. Fennel ran around the corner, and with a slash, took out a lunging Black Kat. He drained the energy from the rapidly dissolving corpse, and quickly retreated as four more charged at him. Saphira mewed helplessly, and the Stranger quickly had a recolllection:
Ray, Heart Attack, Aura.
"Use your Heart attack, Saphira!"
The Seraphynx looked up, surprised at the Stranger knowing the order. Nonetheless, it unleashed a red ray which darted back and forth between the monsters, placing a red circle around each individual creature.
"Brisingr (Fire)!"
A flicker of flame erupted from his hand and roared towards the foes, smoke trailing. Blasting into a Kat, it howled, and dissolved into nothingness as Fennel absorbed it. Suddenly, the corpse glowed red, and melted into a literal cherry-red heart with a smaller, white version visible inside.
What in Vog?
He picked it up, and squeezed it slightly. At the pressure, it exploded into brilliant white particles and covered every wound and bruise, sealing them and easing his pains. Huh. This could prove to be useful.
A Kat suddenly dug its claws into Fennel's hood, lifting the Stranger up. He stabbed blindly in the air, unable to deal a significant blow...Below him, he could see a robot approaching, metal arms preparing to strike...

"Use your Ray attack!"
A dazzling line of light shredded the Black Kat like tissue paper, dropping another heart with a smaller one inside. This time, he took care to not squeeze it and ran around the corner as fast as he could, out of breath. Without pausing, he applied the heart to Eevee's wounds. The blood began to dissipate and the wounds closed slightly.
"Little one, they are coming. We must abscond, lest they catch up to us." He tossed Eevee over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, and ran for the elevator.
I see Fennel fighting off the remaining Black Kats when I see the giant robot getting closer. Fennel then picked up Eevee and said "Little one, they are coming. We must abscond, lest they catch up to us." I look at the lift we got down but it was blocked off by the robot and I thought "We need to find the other lift even though that takes us deeper...
I started to run as a few rockets fly by me and I picked up the blue robot's shield and said "Where did that blue robot go?" I put the Crest of Almire on my sore back and pulled up the Omega shield before running again. The giant robot started to run and it seemed to be dropping bombs behind it. I lost sight of Fennel so I knew the robot was locking on to me...
The robot slammed into the Omega shield with such force, it broke it and it launched me into the air. As I was falling down, I re-equip my Crest of Almire and landed without much problem. I continued to run but the robot was launching more rockets. I see the way down but the lift was missing. I look down and see nothing. I look around and see claw marks and I thought "That blue robot beat us..."
The robot started to flash red and it exploded. My shield broke in half and the pole that the dagger was on broke as well. I run up to it and started to stab it with the dagger and to my surprise it was tearing through him for a few seconds before it became impossible again. The robot grabs me and launches a rocket into my back where the wound was.
It hit which made me scream even though I was trained not to and he then tossed me into some glass where I got cut. I tried to get up but my back was broken which prevented me from moving except from my arms and head. I tossed the dagger towards the robot hoping it would hit him...

Fennel ran towards the lift, and lost sight of Gardevoir. Not pausing in his stride, he reached the lift, only to snarl in dissapointment. It was gone, and it appeared that Metal Sonic had gotten the last laugh. Suddenly, a fragment of a hilt appeared from somewhere down the hallway, embedding itself an inch away from the Stranger.
He immediately ran down at full force (first gently putting down Eevee), and eventually came upon Gardevoir, laying on a bed of shattered glass. The Almirian threw the dagger at the nearby Collector, leaving a scratch along its otherwise impenetrable armor. The dagger was now soaring off the path, apparently the only weapon that could do any harm...
"Blöthr (stop)!"
The dagger paused and flew back into his hands as Fennel deftly skittered to a stop in front of Gardevoir, protecting the Almirian. The Collector emitted a whirring sound, and three rockets burst out of it, soaring towards the two.
Fennel made a certain motion while at the same time shouting, "Ray attack!" He hoped to make Saphira associate the motion with the command. The Seraphynx fired a glaring white beam, blasting apart one of the rockets. Fennel rolled under the other two, jumped back over them, and tossed his daggers into the approaching projectiles, destroying them. As the blades flew back into the Stranger's hands, the Collector rushed at Fennel, trying to push him off the precarious ledge.
Rolling to the left, he jumped onto the Collector's back, plunging both blades into the metal hull. Sparks emitted from the open gashes as it reared up, sending Fennel hurtling off of the robot. Landing with a grunt of pain, the Stranger directed his gaze upwards, and as the robot charged again...
"Thrysta adurna (compress the water)!"
A nearby series of pipes exploded outwards, sending liquid and shrapnel all over the place. The Collector was soaked with water, and as it seeped into its systems, the robot began to malfunction temporarily.
"Error. Realigning hydroadjustment valves."
The Collector withdrew, if only to get the hydrogen dioxide out of its systems. This was enough for the natives in this depth to attack. Kats began to soar in, and though Fennel slashed back and forced them away, there were simply too many to repulse. He had to abscond. But Gardevoir had a serious injury, and he STILL didn't have sufficient energy to heal her.
"Heart Attack!" Fennel gave a different motion, and several enemies were surrounded by rings of solid red. Slashing apart a Kat, Fennel hurriedly grabbed the heart (this one being solid red, save for a white outline) and pressed it into the wounds of his ally. Several Kats suddenly fired projectiles, and Fennel was forced to throw his cloak around them to sustain the ranged assault.
Come on, come on...
He was losing precious seconds here!
Wait a second...
"Use your Guardian Aura!" With a final motion of his hand, Saphira glowed, as a bubbly sphere of light engulfed them all. Projectiles harmlessly bounced off or were absorbed by the aegis, but for how long?
Fennel wasn't aiming to find out. Tossing Gardevoir over his shoulder, he slowly limped back to the lift. The Collector had managed to hit his left leg, which had been worsened by a Hurkat bite. He needed medical attention, and badly. But that one beacon wasn't working...
As he trudged on, ignoring the savage bites, he took out a dozen or so beacons and activated them all, trying to jam the medical help system with his request only. To Vog with the rules. Experts' lives were at stake here!
Mortis shook his head as he wonder around the Arcade some more. Watching some one swing a sword around and talking, of course his mind was still interested in the computer as he was talk is was called. Maybe he could get one if he could get some place to live.
Shaking his head Mortis sat down beside the wall of a lifted section. I need something to do...Or I could just rest here for a minute. I am sure that undead Knight has calmed himself by now...Or killed himself again. I don't know...
Mortis looked over his shoulder and listed to the Knight and the Stranger talk. It seemed about the only thing he was really go at was listening to people talk. Not that it really helped him in the first case since he was trying to talk but never found anyone to speak to.
I slowly wake up and see my cuts where fixed a little and see both Gardevoir and Fennel both in serious condition. I thought "I wonder if my attacks have changed with this crystal... I tried using thunderbolt but it didn't work. I was confused and wondered why it wasn't working when I realized, my spatial senses was maxed out.
I run towards the robot using needle launcher to kill the random kats. I remembered what the attack was called and I said "Spatial Slash!" A bunch of powerful blades tore through the robot who was malfunctioning. The robot tried launching rockets but it failed to launch. I picked up an item and I used it which allowed me to change my name...
I changed my name to Evie (To avoid confusion) and see the robot starting to run towards me. It was much slower than Metal Sonic and I said "Psi-Blade." The blade smashed through a robot leg which made him fall down. I started to lose sense and felt weaker. I then tried "Thunderbolt" again and this time it worked. I run towards Fennel and Gardevoir and I was feeling much better from the crystal energy in my body
I struggle and was feeling so much pain and when someone picked me up, I felt even more pain. I started to lose conscious.
Gardevoir was losing so much blood and was impossible to find the source of it. Because of this Gardevoir died from blood loss...

"...And thats why I never trust a Dust Zombie in a dress!" Gallon chugged down the rest of his drink while he patted Jorin on the shoulder, starting to get intoxicated. The Vanguard began to unload his own zombie, with a finger pointing at Gallon, ranting about Space Serpents that attacked the Skylark in deep space. Spanner sat on a stool a few places down, spinning around in circles, glum about how the two veterans wouldn't buy him a round unless he, and he quoted, 'Beat them in a round of fighting'. Placing a paw on his chin, he noticed a flashing light on his wrist. Spanner's eyes lit up, and he took out a wrench, to throw at the heads of the 2 knights. The Clank and Thud of impact made 2 annoyed Knights turn to the direction of the Gremlin, who gave a stern look back their way. He pointed on his wrist, and began to explain what it was they were looking at.
"This is a Medical Beacon responder Module. It flashes like this when someone has activated a Beacon. Should only work on the same level, but some smart allick has boosted the signal from the level below, or so, to reach up here. So put down those drinks, and lets get going you lazy slobs!". Spanner jumped down, and hurried out of the bar with Wrench wand in hand. Gallon and Jorin looked at eachother, laughing quickly coming to a halt, as they grabbed their gear from the counter and dashed after the Mender. As they turned the corner, heading for the elevator, the Gremlin barkeep could be heard snivelling at them for not paying.
Spanner was waiting impatiently by the Emergency Elevator, ready to go. Gallon and Jorin came to a stop, almost bumping into the barrier of the elevator. The mender smashed the button, and they descended much faster than the usual ones went. I guess when its used for emergency, response times and speed is everything. The flashing red lights on the Elevator illuminated a pathway as they hit the lower floor. Jorin looked keenly out without stepping off, and saw a Stranger, carrying two smaller figures, looking like Knights and pretty wounded, if not dead. Gallon rushed outward past Jorin, and unsheathed his Halberd. A Hurkat was fast approaching from behind upon the Wounded trio. The Lancer darted past the three, and jabbed his spear forward, the Kat was knocked back, as an axe from the side smashed it into a wall, finishing it. The Almirian called out to the Vanguard, who rushed up past the Trio, as Spanner ushered them onto the Elevator.
Jorin took out a small Orb the size of his hand, and held a switch into the ON Position. He charged up the Bomb, before shouting to Gallon to fall back from another group of Spookats approaching. The Vanguard set down his Bomb, and hit the deck, falling toward the Elevator. The Lancer jumped and hit the deck even harder, laying beside the Knight. The Nitronome's charge time clicked off, and soon after exploded. The Mender was tending to the Stranger's wounds, and one of the others whose aura seemed brighter than the Isorans, and had 2 concerned Sprites huddles by her. Healing them both up with his special Wand, he shook his head to the Almirian who had seemed to have bled out before they had arrived. The Mender hailed over Gallon & Jorin, as the whole party ascended back up the Emergency elevator to regroup in Emberlight, and debrief eachother of what had happened since the Crash.
I see a bunch of knights coming to us and started to heal me and Fennel. She nodded her head and looked at Gardevoir who seemed to be dead... I felt bad and we started to move to an emergency elevator. I open the shaft behind the broken lift and lots of smoke started to come out but I saw a blue thing inside. I went out of the smoke radius and took a deep breath.
I started to tug at the blue item inside but it wasn't moving. I started to twist it which made it go loose before I was able to pull it out. I run out of the smoke radius and started to cough as I looked at the blue item I had. I told my sprites "Please change perk to Swift Steps 2." They both do it and I caught up with the rest of the team. As the lift was going up, I noticed the blue item was a much much bigger crystal then the one I used to defeat Metal Sonic...
((OOC: The big crystal contains 1K crystal energy because it was needed to activate the lift and it was before the emergency lift went up.))
"Little one?" Fennel weakly nudged Gardevoir, who wasn't responding. Blood was everywhere, even with the heart he had applied, and the Stranger feared the worst.
Great going, Fennel. His internal self-loathing took control. First Hazel, and now this person. And this time, it actually was your fault. That spell you cast at Metal Sonic that took you out? Yeah, that was a bad idea.
Luckily, Fennel's mind was somewhat prepared, and his optimism, self-reliance, and the part of him that wanted to go back to humor took control.
You did what you thought was right, Fennel, and it at least saved Evie, if not Gardevoir.
And I'm sure that now you're sobered with the death of a team member, you'll be much more optimal in helping your others!
What? There's not much to be optimistic about right now.
That robot...It's incredibly strong. Gardevoir was no weak fighter, and yet the creature bested her easily. You should be grateful that YOU even escaped, even more so that you rescued even one ally in the process.
"There was a robot...immensely strong." Fennel managed to gasp out. That thing was stronger than a Golden Tortodrone. "Rockets, Tortodrone charge, explosive wave attack...I thank you for rescuing us, little ones. It had captured some of these Sprites, and some Snipes too."
Saphira mewed in a concerned fashion and nuzzled Fennel's shoulder.
As I am looking at the blue crystal, Fennel said "There was a robot...immensely strong." I thought "I think he is talking about Metal Sonic, there was only 1 other robot but it was a joke... He then said "Rockets, Tortodrone charge, explosive wave attack...I thank you for rescuing us, little ones. It had captured some of these Sprites, and some Snipes too." I thought "Wait, that was the robot where I managed to remove it's leg."
I said "Is the robot huge? If it was, I managed to smash 1 of the legs off but... Metal Sonic might still be alive by the claw mark..." I look at the blue crystal and wondered how to use it. I remember crushing a very small one which hurt a bit but this one was much bigger...
I see Fennel coming down and I decided to explore the rest of the floor. After exploring, there was nothing left and I finally found the lift down to the next floor. I pushed the down button to see what was going to be there and I saw a lot of cages. I look in the cages and see Drakon's, Seraphynx's, Maskeraith's and snipes. I continue looking and I see a double cage with a Seraphynx and Maskeraith.
I thought "Eevee's pets, that must mean the robot who took them is on this floor." I put my spear tip in the lock and opened it. Eevee's pets left the cage and hovered to me and I said to them "I know where Eevee is, follow me." I start moving back to the lift and I push the up button back to where everyone was. On the way up, I hear a loud thump and when I turned around, it looked like a giant robot.
When the lift stopped, I started to move back towards Eevee with her pets. When I reached her, I noticed Fennel trying to help and the robot just standing there. Eevee's pets saw her and went back to her and I said "Eevee, the robot is on the next floor, we better prepare for it..."
