"Next time we're here, we probably won't be able to pass them without smashing them away..." Naomi mutters to Rhendon, her voice a bit disappointed.
"Hm...what do you plan on doing once we're back at Haven?"

Completely bewildered by the strange pink procession, Veru didn't flinch as Naomi grabbed ahold of his hand. It felt strange moving past them, the whole experience of squeezing through a horde of bright neon pink jelly cubes being drawing most of his attention, as Rhendon grasped onto his other hand.
The cubes were surprisingly smooth...
OOC: Was waiting for someone else to post, but since no one did, I'll do it. :P Reference
EDIT: Removed the flashback, as it involved two NPC's.
Fennel smiled and shook Spanner by the hand heartily. It was strange how quickly you form friendships with someone who saves your life a few times. As the Stranger walked onto the elevator, he mentally calculated their strength, while at the same time performing raw estimates of the beast. He had heard of something like this before. Hmm.
This beast was clearly quite experienced. More proof was in the fact that many Tier 1 knights had vanished with alarming speed. But his current group seemed to be fairly capable. He could probably handle himself, Jorin was clearly a Tier 3 member, Mortis was having a new color scheme with powerful blue glows, and the strange creature could apparently teleport. His mind made minuscule adjustments for equipment as he unconsciously fiddled with his blades, his finger tracing over the runes inscribed on the hilt.
Pressing the elevator button, the party soared upwards. 22...21...20...19...The machinery skittered to a stop at 18. The town of the Gremlins.
Fennel looked at Spanner. "I suppose this is your stop, little one."
Is THIS scrapped, or is it still going? It'll be rather confusing either way.
Skylark Down is no longer active. I just reused the title.
Rhendon grabbed ahold of Veru's arm, not wanting to get left behind. "Is this your bright idea? Cool, works for me." He shyly waved to the jellies as he passed, hoping he wasn't offending any of them by brushing past them.
They weren't offended. More like...curious.
