You would need about 1000 for one which is about 4-6 runs. The only problem is getting the weapons for it.
October 23 Update - Discussion
It took me practically half an hour to find out how the boss worked. I wasted time and an emergency rev trying to figure it out. (I got it now, tyvm)
Another question-- I know that we will keep any sigils we have, like pages from the black kat event, but will we be able to buy the special mats with the sigils or craft the special weapons after the event is over? I could imagine that a lot of people that get enough sigils might not buy all the mats that they can before the event is over, or have the mats but not have a 4* level 10 weapon to use for crafting before the end of the event.
What I also don't get is how so many people are burning through sparks on this event.
I went through it alone the first time through, pulled about 800 tokens and only managed to use emergency revs.
Also, two protips:
-If you're caught by the Harvester, shield before it drains you. Trust me.
-Acheron buff actually serves a purpose in killing Lost Souls, but not on the Harvester. Plan accordingly.
So what does it drain? The tokens?
Yes. You can keep mats. Hopefully the machine for it will not dissapear.
At first I really didnt think this event would work when I saw the cost of the mats and the amount we needed (45 tokens per mat, and I need 6 per weapon?!). After I ran the mission three times I found I had around 3k tokens, enough to get my mats for the gun and sword. The only problem is the lvl 10 4* weapon requirements, but that is easu enough to get now thanks to all the shinings (would have preferred a kat cowl like tree, but this works as well).
All in all I think this is a nice event, the costumes are amazing (have all the sets already), the weapons look awesome (I hope they live up to there looks), and the mission is one of the best. It is one of the few times where teamwork really matters and it is one of the hardest missions around (lets face it, FSC is tedious, not hard).
well that was an easy challenge, i soloed in in 30 minutes, add something harder for me please.
Now then, regarding depth 30, is this an actual look inside the core¿ cause' depth 29 i am staring at the core, sooooooooooooo, yea tell me pweeze
I'm very impressed. Didn't finish a full run yet, but I definitely like the new design. Puzzles and monsters are cool. Shocked with awe at the entrance to the new area (stepping on the party pad was amazing). In all honesty, I'd like it if they took out the weapons and made it an actual mission series, then put the weapons and tokens in as an event. Curious why they put both dark harvest and this at the same time. Really kills the joy of doing both. As in, I don't have time to farm both missions but I wish I could. Perhaps make Apocrea a mid-holiday-season even instead of an overlap.
Why are we not allowed to do the mission twice?
also, luv that we keep our tokens, now ill just farm tokens this time around, then spend a year getting silent knightblade, blackhawk, and whatever 4* bomb i need
ALSO really, an acheron buff, great, now, an acheron can kill me in two hits, thanks for that. (thinks of all the crap icycute is going to put him through in the future, nowhe has to work extra for icycute, NUUU)
I'm betting acropea and LD revs are to drain us of sparks more. It's like they want us to use irl money for them by increasing demand. :p
Yay. Now I can live out my wildest tentacle fantasies!
Why'd you take out all those radiant fire crystals and elite orbs with this update? Did you really think we were stupid and won't notice?

10-30 from elite players before they complete everything they need with SotA is a drop in the bucket. I've still got more than 300 and I've burned a TON of them helping out less-skilled players.
Great work. What to do with toothpicks, acheron became more powerful than BTB/FF vs beasts/constructs.

No no, Snarbolax has Apocrean eyes, Now we know who owns Cradle c;
I did some tests today in ATH and T3 GTH; Acheron has literally the exact same damage values as GF. First hit, last hit, charge swing, charge projectile/explosion, vs weak/neutral/strong, you name it. Exactly the same. Now all the GF has going for it are wider/longer swing and curse against Acheron's speed, dps, mobility, charge time, charge usability, ease of crafting, and more hits per combo
...good thing I already have an Acheron.
Oh, and for the rest of the update:
The new mission is cool, new lore is always good unless it creates plot holes (which this kind of does by going to D30 but I don't think that's too bad), new weapons look epic and appear to work well (aka not entirely gamebreaking) and the drop rate for Sigils (at least on T3 elite) is high enough to make obtaining the weapons at least feasible. I do think the tentacles for the weapons are a bit overly cartooney but really, meh. Overall good job OOO, you made me actually spend all my CE on alchemy orbs to make obsidian stuff, get my spark count down from 115 to 75, and actually use a weapon slot for once.
I see everyone talking about how they use so many sparks. I can't even do RJP most of the time without a spark and yet, haven't used a single one on the new mission ._.
Are you farming like 800 Sigils per level on T3 elite with a full party scattered to the four corners of the map with no chance of helping each other, trying frantically to find and solve both puzzles while dodging hordes of scarabs and tentacle arms and trying to systematically break every gravestone you find? Or do you just spawn in a plateau, find the elevator, and leave?

Who is this directed towards? By the way, surviving Mr. Slenderman's arms isn't that hard. You've got one or two defensive manuevers to burn to survive it on your own, and you can get bro-help if you really need it.
The Lie: Update message said the mission is repeatable. So we went and had a look on Normal to see what expects us. Once done it was not repeatable, and someone had removed the word from the announcement post.
The Deception: "Not identical in function" is only true if you are going to split hairs about 'function'.
The Bugs: How long is it going to take until we can search Apocrean and Shadow Accessories (or any of the others that stopped working) in the Auction Houses?
The Mission: One-time nifty at being grabbed on the Party Button. The rest either nothing new, or mindless running around until you know what to do, and then mindless running around to do what you know. Tedious at both stages. No fun factor enters anywhere. (Friend joked that the guy who made the new UI is now responsible for level design. Considering what they did to the Supply Depot, yeah, someone's thinking 'big', no matter the consequences for functionality and fun.)
And I don't even know why I'd want to go there. I've got Acheron, use it less and less often, favouring Dark Retribution. I've got Blackhawk, mostly only use it to shoot fast at switches and blocks when running through levels to get somewhere interesting. I've got Graviton Vortex, rarely use it, favouring Dark Retribution. I've got Venom Veiler, it gets Menders and Silkwings alike, and everything else not resistant to poison. And when I'm feeling silly I've got Dread Venom Striker.
The boxes: I'm too disappointed with the rest to bother spending Energy on them. And spending Crowns on stuff that others got out of them is made awkward by the Auction House search not working properly.
I like it that the basic Shadow Accessories skipped having red bits on it.
Dark Harvest: Nothing to see here (that wasn't had last year). I was hoping for costumes for Sprites. I was hoping for some way to get Gourdlings for Guild Hall. Or my own to follow me around, or a costume as one for the Battle Sprite. Them and Scarabs. (Not even that tedious new mission is going to turn me off Scarabs. They're cute.)
So, yay for Shadow Accessories being usable by people who don't like red?
Does "Adjusted drop rates" mean "reduced to the ground"? Because I want my Obsidian Carbine.
I also went completely dissapointed. I'm not one of those who thinks the Apocrean mission was easy... and now it's even harder than before! It's tiring and it doesn't make me want to do it anymore. I got the pistol so far, yes, it's fast and it's cool. But what about those people who already had these weapons in 5* star before? There's too much money to waste with the weapons in 4* also leveling up takes it's time, by the time they were leveled up the promo will be over...
The lag is high as ever, the loading screens are so slow (and believe me it used to be fast to me, so it's not my computer) you're on a route to do two missions and it's hard to choose, so you're practically can't focus in anything. Fact that the Apocrean mission has to be done with a group is tedious too... not everyone has a group to go to always...
The ticket to change nicknames is cool and all... but they're expensive... 3kce is just too much...
Man, I really don't want to play anymore... I don't like how the sparks and orbs have been re-adjusted, I've lost so many sparks trying to complete the Apocrean mission that I just don't want to come back.
Sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language.

When will Acheron get nerfed? It's bugged. It's not supposed to get such a big buff......
(I hope)
