Tier 1 was dead after the

Tier 1 was dead after the rocket hammer got added, almost the same thing happened to tier 2.

My suggestion would be to add a alternate lockdown, which has options, like "dlc weapons"(includes the starter pack stuff,rockethammers, DR and Seerus mask)(you can check all of them on/off), costumes(if costumes are allowed),weapons only(something like swords,guns,bombs only)...

Adding heat and orbs/materials as a reward could work, the problem is that adding them to king krogmo would make it a pay to play energy match, so i would suggest that "coins" get added, you can buy some from the supply depot, and get 100 per day(like the old ce), instead of energy, coins is used to bribe king krogmo, he will also always give a little prize(materials, 1* and 2* for tier 1, 2* and 3* for tier 2 and 3* and 4*(maybe not that much 4* and 5* only very rarely in tier 3). If you bribe him you get a chance to get crystals or orbs.

@Dermog
A CTF would be fun, as long as BKC, and both Mercurial sets, as well as MSI Sprite Parks were blocked from usage.

@Momo
Yes. A death counter would be neat. It'd be nice for people to see those times when you died once in the whole match.

I wish we had a longer variation of Lockdown, explained in fair detail here:

This is a OOO money strategy.

LD UVing is how OOO makes some money, and it is popular, people buy CE, sell the CE, and get UV's from punch. Simple? Well people do 3 UV rolls till they get what they want on their wep, or just buy a wep with the needed UV's. Making it OP, so changing UV's in LD is a no. I would say, negate the bonuses from all armor/helmets, and only give defense/weakness, and increase the amount of defects on the classes. I would also make it so all VH UV's go down to High, making it impossible to max out Dmg, ASI, or, more annoyingly, CTR. And this will solve many other problems. I would also cancel all trinkets except for heart trinkets. Just adding to this! Thanks, BYE!

Well, we should be able to make Lockdown "groups," similar to GvG. (Note, someone has a thread on this topic)
They could let us pick out...
-Map
-Ban certain weapon types (sword/gun/bomb/dlc)
-Ban individual weapons (Drop-down menus from tabs that have related items, i.e. Brandish tab, Sealed Sword tab, Blast Bomb tab)
-Ban individual helms and armors (see above)
-Tier
-Size (4v4, 5v5, 6v6)

A LD party could be for friends to join or could be set to "public" to just let anyone in. The same choices could technically be put into GvG.

I'm for custom lobbies, if only for the fact that we'll be able to play in-house games within a guild and it will also open the opportunity for beginning players to practice, should they join an LD guild, to improve by sparring with the more experienced guildmates. Really, trying to get shiny UVs, and hanging out with guildies are pretty much my only incentives for remaining active.

If the death counter will help to improve people's stubbornness then +1. It's completely unproductive to facedive at groups for a few thousand damage points and die shortly after. You're a burden, your 20k was very little help. I can see it being discouraging for new players though. There isn't any tutorial of sorts aside from advice from other players, which means newbies will always be thrown in the deep end. Still one of the main problems relating to making LD more enjoyable.

What you brought up about resorting to easy-win tactics like Polaris (even AT) is a good point. The aim is to keep people playing, right? Maybe you can reward for playtime rather than wins. Since OOO probably won't do anything about how ridiculous Polaris is.
