The only Wolver armor I have is a Vog Coat which I use mainly in FSC and other PvE. I use it so I can make my ASI VH Combuster to MAX (and give my Achreon a small boost), along with its fire and elemental resistance. My PvP a(r)mor is my Mercurial Mail becuase the shock resistance paired with my PMoS (I never don't use PMoS) makes me immune to Voltaic spammers, and the pierce defense is usefull against all those Dark Thorn Blades that have been running around for some reason. Must be the Radiant drought...

The new armor's not that bad.
The new armor's not that bad. It would be nice if the fur bit around the shoulders didn't clip so much with the obsidian hoods, because they're one of the few things that match (or at least night armor+rituals hood match).
Oh, I don't wear wolver armor as a costume (expect for my hallow fur and hallow scale helm set). Mostly I wear military themed stuff.

Only reason I made Snarby: I hate the way Dread Skelly looks.
Only reason I made Vog: Its molten awesomeness.
Only reason I'd ever make Skolver: Piercing + Freeze is unique. I don't really care for its looks, white is hard to match for me.

Dread Skelly looks awesome, but you'd think with all that armor, they could've at least put something other than leather belts to "cover up" the Knight?
Heck, I drew a character I was thinking of adding in my personal Fan-Fic that had Skelly Suit with the Draped Armor's dress & she looked perfect. Anything but leather belts.

Well.
I quite honestly hate Dread Skelly, save for the shield. It just looks too awkward. But, although Snarbolax is significantly weaker, it just looks so much better IMO, and I can flaunt that I've done a SL (not that I ever do that...).
I will probably never make Dread Skelly and a few others as long as Wolver Lines exist.

This thread decided to pop back up again huh? Well, I have a few things to say then. Mostly involving the new Polar Wolf sets. Honestly, I don't think these look half bad. I got my own Twilight set and I've been using it for a while.
In my last post, I had said "they are everywhere, there are too many, and I am rather sick of it." But seeing as to how these Polar sets will most likely become rare, I think it will be a nice thing to see one of these particular Wolvers show up somewhere.
Sorry Annilaton, I think I'm going to become a part time furry now! That is until I can find a good set for all these random accessories I got.

I'll admit I have every 5* wolver set but anytime I use them I have them covered over with an infernal guardian or green rose costume. When I do lockdown (only do T2 lockdown) I use my cobalt armor set 90% of the time. I just so happen to have shock res on my dusker which has proven to be a decent set for when I go guardian. I see where you're coming from though, with wolver line being so popular it has become pretty bland. I believe if OOO would just give a boost to the armor sets (plate especially) you would see a decrease in wolvers.....then again people might just start using their wolver amor as costumes.

I do use a Snarby set only because it's the only 5* set i have (really lazy, don't feel like getting more atm), but i don't show it, as i wear a demo helm with hallow vents and scarf, and hallow flak jacket (look like a ninja <3)

Right, on the serious note, I once had an Ash Tail set, but then I went "Salamander looks better" and vendored my Ash Tail.
Then, while it looked good, those stats are really bad. So after carrying my salamander to 5*, I went in to make another wolver set, just cuz I wannq look good while having good stats. I am pretty sure you're asleep right now. Can't really disagree on the boringness of this story.

Time for my next post about Wolvers then!
I am currently working on getting my Snarby Set. I have the coat. The shield and weapons are all at 4*. (I plan on sacrificing the level 10 damage for the 5* looks. It may be a bad decision, but it's my gear. I'll mess it up all I want!) Once I get this, it will probably be the only Wolver set that I use entirely. I mix Vog in with others sets only and I never use Skolver. I also don't wear my Twilight set anymore. Or at least never the cap. The coat can be good with other Plasmatech gear.
By this point, I am sick of all furries. Just can't stand them. Luckily I haven't been seeing quite so many recently.

I don't know about you, guys, but I like the wolver coats. Must be that fluffy collar. I always liked fluffy collars, even before being a "furry".
If I could, I would use a dragon-esque costume, but the only helmet that fits my idea of "perfect costume" isn't available in-game D: Whyyyyyyy?? ;_;

I support the OP. The fact that one of the NPC in the Hall of heroes is wearing the common yellowish Wolver Armor makes me want to avoid buying it. Moreover that NPC is selling that armor. So I am trying to avoid this common armor set during my leveling even though many players have advised me that it is a great armor and I should get it.
Well actually, I don't pull out my Divine set that much as a used to.
Only for the most Divine occasions. :3
I have a Crazy Kat Lady costume though. BKC + Angel Ramient (as a costume, because it's the only amour that's the same color as the BKC) with MewKat attached, then my Sera (with a name that never stops changing :3)
Tooo many costumes.
