***For some reason part 1 only has crap quality... i prolly screwed up the encoding, but enjoy 2~14 without burning your eyes***

Description:
IGN - Rits
Guild - not in any
I stopped recording at the last room before Lord Vanaduke because I died in that room. the game bugged out and gave me 3 trojans at a time, last wave of mobs spawned before the previous wave was cleared......

Purpose of the Video:
This video is to prove that Vog set, owlite, DA, and a few other rumored to be essential combination for FSC are actually NOT your only option.
When I first got my mad bomber set people laughed at me for being hopeless in FSC due to the fire resist reduction.
I wasn't sure what they meant so I went in and, basically, figured out how to not get hit, and kill the way i enjoy.

The message is: there are still undiscovered possibilities out there! dont just listen to what others say you need, dont be fooled by the market prices, dont blame the gears, learn to play. believe in yourself, in your skills.

note: when i was recording this my fps dropped to 20, so when i was fighting i was constantly suffering from poor video framerate. Also if you see any froze moment, it's not the video footage, its my actual comp freezing for a sec or two on the spot... i dont know why java is doing this to me.

So, if anyone out there have or thinking of another combination of gears along with innovative tactic, please share and lets discuss about it.

Good job, Do you think this can be done with sun shards bomb instead of nitrotome?
What are your UV's on the mad bomber set? I run with it too and whenever i get fire it just takes out 3/4 of my hp out.
And yes, I agree with you, it's more important to learn not to get hit that the set you are wearing.

You're a hero. Hopefully this encourages people to diversify their gear a bit. I admit I have been sucked into the Vog cub - DA- etc... and kind of regret being so cookie cutter. Been thinking about switching to gunner or bomber and you have definitely swayed my thinking!

Set the game to the lowest quality and turn of Rendering Effects when recording with Fraps etc. to negate the performance drop.

Yes, I can only use the mad bomber helm to well end of FSC, but may get 1 to two deaths. Gratz.

Mad Bomber Helm + Chaos Cloak = Would be fun or full Chaos set...would be pretty hard, but real fun for sure.

nice run. I always welcome a shivermist bomber on my citadel runs. Makes things so much easier when they don't swarm you. I found it funny when I think it was the third video where the Trojans trapped you against the fire and themselves. Pretty nice that you kept your cool and waited it out until you could pushed them away.

I don't think it's a bug that spawns the last wave in that room before you kill the Trojan, or at the very least if it is a bug it is one that happens every time. The last wave spawns when all the zombies are dead regardless of whether the Trojan that came with them is or not, much like jelly danger rooms spawn the next wave regardless of lichens still alive and gremlin danger rooms spawn the next wave regardless of any wolvers left alive.

Cheers to you! I geared Vog/DA/Peacemaker when I started playing during the preview because I'm primarily a sword fighter, but Mad Bomber is definitely a great choice as well, even though it has fire weakness. I definitely encourage people to diversify their gear a little and have fun playing with raw skill rather than "to be cool." It's possible to solo FSC as long as you are mostly 5* geared, even if the gear isn't "proper".

- frankly i've never even seen a sun shard bomb, so i can't say for sure. but theoretically, if it has the same range, speed, and knock back as nitronome, Lv 10 sun shard with mad bomber set should allow you to plant a bomb in 2 sec, which should do the trick.
- i have a vs construct low UV on the gun, that's all i have now lol
- once on fire my hp's gone half too. my volcanic shield help a bit with the fire resist boost. you can consider getting a fire resist accessory too. i haven't but probably will.

- thanks for the suggestion, but i'm already on that lol! my EVGA 9800 gtx+ might be a bit too old for this. or its just me not taking good care of my machine in a long run.

- when i was trapped i actually paniced lol, but what else could i do? spammed the shield hoping it would budge an inch for me to slip through.

- i dont know, i ran like 8 times that room, usually i leave 1 mob alive, sit on the heart recharger for a bit before i start the last wave. its the first time 3 trojans ganged on me. does that happen to your runs always? if then, we should always kill the trojan first.

Heh. Shield bumping Trojans not the easiest task. Especially with two of them. You could've tried charge atk with your CIV to knock them back. Hoping that your charge hits first before they swing again.

hmmm that's a good point. but yea as you pointed out, its a bet on the charge time VS trojan's next move. altho, at that moment the view blocked me so i can't tell if i'm actually sitting on a lava pile XD

@ComplexMuffi quicksilver imo is broken, so far i've not figured out any counter measures that is safe. ultimately 2 mad bombers with nitro spam? orelse 3? 4? vanaduke myself i haven't learned enough, i've only been to fsc 8 times, bothered to test him 5 times. i'll figure out something. and ultimately play safe but takes forever, which i'd prefer coming up with something efficient.

@Pupu thats for people how figured out the tricks and have the resources to avoid vog set with DA or very few other combos which expected to find high price on the market. my point is the inspire people who have not learned about how some few people are doing it fine and casual. and personally i imagine i wouldn't be bored after 50 times, with mad bomber set? i'm a firewood dancing around the campfire. then ofcourse if you're really good at it, there's always still space for improvement. i'd say its fun if we share new ideas of how to run it smoother, safer, and faster.

@Zoa a pure gunner or bomber might have higher survivability, but takes longer to kill stuffs. pros and cons, thus its better to team up. your sword plus a supportive and gunner/ bomber who loves his job would have a great time. teamwork needs to be worked with tho, not always come naturally.

@Sick i'm working on it, but before that i think i might want to post some basics first, i find the majority are not giving out the full potential and keep blaming on the gears / market prices / EN cost. my 5* recipes need to sell for more than 25k... if you understand the connection.
