Well, there was an update that people were probably looking forward to that you know, got pushed back. CE prices are climbing and there hasn't been a very convincing promo to boost CE sales recently afaik. Lingering problems like the 5* heat droprate and lack of new content has older players feeling like well, like it's getting old.

It happens in the content-patch dry spells lol.

I think I need to prescribe some Aflac here.

It seems like the forums started to get a bit too on the negative side when I showed up. As usual, I carry the burden of video game poison with me where ever I go. It works kind of like this:

1. I find something interesting so I try it out.
2. Everything seems lovely and all is peaceful in the world.
3. Someone notices I'm here.
4. Negativity fills the air while I hide my face.
5. What ever I originally love either becomes A) Extremely overrated, B) Hated for any possible reason.

This is what has happened to everything that I have ever played in my life. Including Spiral Knights. But I'm going to stick around because I for one, still love everything about this game. If you have a problem with my theory well good! I'd happily accept that this isn't the case!

Gotta agree with Scrio, those 3 forum posters kinda ruin the forums with their immature behavior and moronic posts. But lets be honest....according to the Gaussian distribution, with such a large number of forumers, it is statistically impossible to be idiot-free.

I dunno I've never felt very annoyed by those three posters in particular. I've also never felt that the Lockdown community was as toxic as people say it is (have you ever seen an internet "debate" about religion?). All posters contribute something to the forums. Imagine how boring these forums would be if we just talked about data and updates and gear imbalance (although some people might find that fun). There are people who contribute data, people who create deep thread topics, people who comment on these thread topic, and there are people who are there just to break up the flow a bit. While those three posters are a bit childish, they still bring their energy to these forums. Are they actually purposefully hurting anyone? I think they're a necessary part of the forums if only to add some randomness. I mean are you really seriously offended that someone made a thread about what they dreamed last night? Does that really make your blood boil?

Xtweeterx, the problem isn't that you make a lot of threads. The deal here is the way that your brain processes data and information to produce these fine picked threads. Oh, and the non-sense, you are a rich soil for it.

siriusly, how hard is it to ignore something on the internet? if you don't like it, don't read it. nobody is forcing you to, no matter how you might argue otherwise.

^because some people seem to be incapable of controlling what they view. if Sirius bothers you, don't look at his threads. pretty simple to me, but it might be harder for some to let go.

Literally, I was about to quit the forums due to infamy (I still resigned). Every thread I make viewed as inane. Every post I make as some sort of trolling or joke, I just... Hate it.

Also, I would like to point out all of the posts that are possibly considered personal attacks such as "childish". insulting gifs, calling all of my threads inane, While I take no serious offense to these, I would like them to stop. I mean, Why would you hate someone for obeying the forum rules?
