What has happened to the forums? Every thread I read, they're so depressing.
It almost feels like Spiral Knights is about to shut down or something like that.

Everyday, when I read the forums, I see nothing more than threads about radiants,
people replying nonsense in others topics, Spiral Knights being a bad game and so on, the forums being dominated by X (Not going to call their names, you guys should know who I'm talking about.) And also, GM's used to reply in some topics, especially in General Discussion. What's the mystery behind that? Why are they so silent now? Many have complained about radiants and still no single answer. There's gotta be something behind that, it's like Nick doesn't exist anymore! I've enjoyed Spiral Knights for almost a year now, but everything started to become worse since the Shroud of Apocrea. Since then, I don't have the same fun anymore, like I had when I just started playing Spiral Knights about a year ago.

This is just something that I wanted to share with everyone. You can say
whatever you want, but I don't care anymore. I'm not trying to offend anyone
(no players, no staff members) in this topic. This is my personal opinion about
the forums, I have the right to express my feelings about the game, and this is
indeed how i feel right now.

ah well. it's just that we have nothing to do. no science, no heating (too little radiants), no upgrading (hurr ce prices too high durr), no new content (it was delayed) ect.
GMs stopped commenting on the forums quite a bit of time ago, since when you don't hang out in the forums?

I got the answer. Many people were Hoping for new weapons.

Since we didn't get them around the time we thought we'd get them, some of the forumers...are a bit salty about it. You might even say they're saltier than the seven seas.

Because of this, people tend to...lash out their feelings on others. Depression falls under this category too, since oh so many complain about the radiants and content. But don't worry, something really good is at the end of this tunnel for game play in the future :>

It's not that bad. More like people use this subsection like this

EDIT:People come to an agreement that there is not enough 5 star fire crystals in the game. Least they are somewhat positive.

The forum doesn't make you anything. You are responsible for how you act or what you think. I've been here for a darned long time (reading the forums every single day for the last eight or so months, and more before my hiatus) and I'm still optimistic as ever.
If you don't like what you're reading, don't read threads that you know are complaining threads. I don't. If I see the word "radiants" in the title of a thread, I generally ignore it. Even better idea; create a positive and thought-provoking thread. By doing so, and keeping it maintained, you make it so that one more slot on the first page can't be a complaint thread.

Why haven't I gone mad?

I think it's due to the fact that I waiting for winterfest, and all the fun it will bring. Also, there's the count to 5,000 thread that also keeps my spirits up.
