I was expecting the damn walls to stop leaking players and monsters in Save Winterfest!
I was expecting for them to decrease the required materials to craft the re-skinned weapons.... since some require ridiculous amounts. Or for them to at least increase the drop rate of these materials.. ohh well

As of what I've seen, it's not too hard if you're in a party and you have seraphynx at your side.
I think we could all agree dropping the materials from 200 to 20 and 150 to 15 would be fair. Then it would almost be like it was a BALANCED EVENT :O
It's still hard, and not everyone haves the energy (Well, I don't.) to buy a Seraphynx Pod just for that mission.
I think that dropping the mats required to 50 would even make this balanced, which would require about 10-15 runs to get a weapon... right now though it's ridiculous. Each run is like 20-30 minutes long, and they expect us to complete like 50+ so it works out as roughly 25 hours of grinding without a break as it is now.. TWENTY FIVE HOURS STRAIGHT. Are they actually serious, like who is going to waste about 25 hours during their 2 weeks of christmas holidays grinding for one weapon which is literally the same as the other weapons except they look slightly better...
Don't even get me started at the depot sales(scarves basically losing all their value), the mission being almost impossible without any deaths AND the simple bug in lockdown(some variable is being displayed within the timer) which need immediate fixing... this patch is pathetic in my opinion compared to other fixes which could be made
O______O this update is horrible. FIX EVERYTHING WITH THE WINTERFEST AND WE WILL ALL BE HAPPY! We Want it to be like LAST YEAR!
im not gonna waste my time on this mission for reskins if your not gonna make it eiser, i die on normal difficulty.
why is everyone complaining about the difficulty? i think its just right. i do think the material requirement is a bit high though, but dont lower the difficulty of the missions.
See everyone keeps complaining about the difficulty, look like this will be the last time we will see this hard mission.
Can someone post an Image of the Humbug Hazer, its Stats/Ingredients, & activation for me? I was going after Venom Veiler for my next Haze Bomb, but seeing how I like the look of the Humbug better, I'd like to see how it looks when it's planted/ activates.
But from what I've gathered, it probably is a little red box that springs open like a jack-in-the-box with a grinchlin head. That's my guess. I'd give you a screenshot of its ingredients if I had one, but its stats are identical to the standard venom veiler.
Just soloed the mission on Elite, pretty god dam hard. As a bonus, no deaths but had to burn every pill i had.
My tip of advice is: Out of all monsters, get rid of the shadowmanes first. And in some of the later arenas, camp in a single area until that area is cleared of enemies. Keep your distance from the giant lichens and gun them down. Bring a flourish to deal with the greavers. When theres a chance, kill the rocket puppies before moving up an area in the arena.
I did it all but the boss, cause in my opinion, hes too OP, and is insanely hard if not impossible to solo. All adds respawn and his shield only goes down like every minute.
EDIT: By the way, where do you go to craft the Grand ring 5* trinket?
I heard that you are supposed to raft it at the new purple-ish alchemy machine to the right in the arcade, but that it doesn't have the recipe or whatever for it yet, they have to fix the bug.
Stats are same as VV, literally the only change is the green explosive now looks like a green present. (I have the scalding hot cocoa already).
Mist from the bomb is identical to the cloned item (cocoa = AoA mist).

Everything else I said is correct.
The speed, attack, and defense orbs were not needed, and can be a pain when the amount of speed that you have keeps changing while you are trying to dodge attacks.
However they seem far too common. I shouldn't have multiple buffs active at the same time or have another buff on the ground as a random drop. They are fun to play with, but should be a fun bonus, not a direct buff to the player.
But I do say, when I get lucky with a speed boost in save winterfest, oh that is amazing.

EDIT: So, after replaying the Grinchlin Assault Mission over & over again, doing nothing but the first Arena, for around 3 hours straight, I have accumulated 25 Spoiled Treats, 26 Lumps of Coal, 3 Bottomless Stockings, 4 Razor Ribbons, & 0 Indestructible Giftwraps.
I was playing on Elite the whole time. Do Giftwraps only drop in the other 2 Arenas/Summit? Because if they do, I just might have to quit going after the Hazer...unless I join my old Guild, but...

I was wondering the same thing about Indestructible Giftwraps. The lowest I've got one is at the very end of D24 on elite.
They seem to be fairly rare and very random. I've been on full elite runs where some people got 0 giftwraps and others got like 5+. Keep in mind the total number of boxes in a full run is about 10x the number of boxes exiting from the first area.
I'm not certain but I may have gotten 1 at the second area in D24 elite (when a pub team just gave up).
With 3 hours it may be more time efficient to farm some sparks in the T2 gate with an arena as the first spot and continue for full runs (assuming you can farm about 5 sparks in 2.5hrs and use 5 on the one 30 min full run).
Good the heck luck trying to solo the boss, or even no deaths with it. I say it's near impossible. I burned 7 sparks just to kill it.
As of right now, I've done 2 no death runs. That means I still had my emergency rev. They were not solo and were with a great team.
Give me frickin proof. Words are not enough, I don't see how it's possible. Just now. i had to burn like 10 SPARKS.
OOO, this is bullcrap. Idc if i am breaking the ToS right now but i am sick of this OP boss. I want the rings that bad, and you decide to put in a boss that i say that is IWBTG/Touhou level of diffculty. This is a bad move in my opinion, diffculty spikes are not nice, and you just pulled that from your trojan butt. Seriously, hes harder then any other boss for christ sake.
Really, if you want to put in a hard boss, make it PART OF THE GAME, not some god forsaken limited event. Yeah, i am mad. Go on you trolls, take advantage of it, like i care.
Give me a proof that you burn 10 sparks.
It is possible because based on post 18#, you already soloed it with no death.

Next time I'll take a screenshot of a free rev still available in the final elevator area.
Also I remember the GitM boss the first couple days when it came out. Its a similar battlepod with 2 spawners, infinite root spawns, and lazers. This is a new danger mission. People die a lot. I don't expect most people out in the clockworks to do well in it until at least a week after its release.

Still saying the boss needs an nerf. I can do everything else just fine. Even the room with two giant lichens or maybe 4 shadowmanes. Who the heck knows. I can do the whole mission fine but just the boss.
I'm planning to try soloing it with Stagger Storm + Final Flourish + Gran Faust + Valiance. That's all set that I got from 2 years playing. /sad
Not sure it will works but worth a try.

Level that's supposed to be hard has been out for four days and people already asking for a nerf? Freakin' scrubs. Can't any of us enjoy a challenge (that isn't purely fiends) in peace for once?
First, we beg for harder content, then we get it and no one wants to play it! COME ON PEOPLE! And if you don't have the skill to play it then don't ask for a nerf so it is ruined for skilled players! Come on! Deal with it!
I want to play it, the mission is well done. We're not complaining about that, we are complaining about the low material payout and the amounts of material needed to get items.
The mission difficulty is fine, get over it. Use bombs, they're useful there.
Might be just me, but i am struggling to find parties for the mission now. I can solo it, but i hate to do so. As i will be forced to skip the boss. I want at least 2-4 people, as i still yet to get a ring. Yet alone i want two of each to craft two grands for my trinket slots.

Ignore this post, the difficulty is fine. Payouts is the issue.
