So I have been playing Grinchlin Assault for quite some time now on elite. It wasn't easy; I've had to use over 100 sparks, and now I'm almost out. I must have reached the end of the mission (After the Battlepod) at least 13 different times now and I still haven't found either trinket.

Meanwhile one of my guildmates has apparently already found THREE silver rings.

Is there a secret to making these trinkets appear that I'm not aware of? Is there unseen force trying to spite me and rub it in my face that despite all my hard work put into this level I'm not being rewarded AT ALL while others get the profit I desire so easily? Am I being taunted?

13 times is not a lot. As I wrote here, I believe you're better off trying 130.

It is luck.

I just finished up getting enough mats for all the reskins.
Judging by Krakob's analysis thread, its about 70-80 full runs.

I have one trinket, and have seen 2 other people get ones during my runs.
The odds aren't in our favor.

I've done enough for two reskins and I haven't gotten a trinket. You haven't seen the worst of it yet.

I've done well over 13 runs on varying difficulties, and a trinket hasn't shown up to anyone in any runs.

During the black kat event, I killed over 100 black kats, not a single book of dark rituals appeared. Hopefully, luck will be with us for the next few weeks.

...those trinkets are the least of my worries. I need freaking razor ribbons. Too damn rare (for me).
