Tips
Even stratums are where the crowns are at. Any mission that starts here has roughly double the crown payout compared to odd stratums. Past that, it picking the select missions with plenty of boxes.
If you are rarity (orbs + fire crystals) searching, you want more boxes. If you are crown searching, you want an even stratum with a good number of boxes. I don't know of anyone other than me that counted boxes on depths before, but my thread on it is here.
The data that may be most interesting to you is here which shows that (6.2) Sewer stash, (6.1) Plan of attack, and (5.2) The Sovereign Slime are all good missions box-wise. Past that, it depends on what gear you have on hand.
Some people like to farm the Sovereign Slime's first depth because it always has 12 boxes and has an average of about 1.2kcrn payout on elite.
