Usable items in treasure boxes

I'm not sure if i'm the only one, but i don't get why, and i hate the fact that usable items drop from treasure boxes. Especially on end treasure vault levels like after danger missions. It makes no sense why i would want a barrier/vial/capsule when i can't use them. And i don't want them to take away from treasure either. I don't want them in treasure boxes, i barely want them on kills. If there is another thread i'm sorry. This makes no sense though, and should really be fixed. It makes no sense to be in treasure boxes at all.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned before, but yes, everyone hated this. Who would want a usable at the end of the Snarby, JK, RT, Vana... etc.
I recommend that red treasure boxes (found at the end of boss runs) have a 0% chance of dropping usables. That's the least that OOO can do.

It's nice to find that pill you need

I think consumables should be less common on higher difficulties. On normal, one should learn to use everything they're given. On elite, they should rely on skill more than drops. This would make elite more rewarding while making it slightly harder.

How about making a new type of box? I mean like blue box. It works better that way.

I agree both of you. Both great ideas. Lower amounts of consumables on higher difficulties. I still don't think their should be any usable items in boxes, because based on RNG, eventually, you'll get the 3 health capsules in a row. When you don't need any.... makes no sense, at all. But i still like both the ideas. If anything.

I agree on the new box idea. Remove all the pickups from Green/Red Boxes and put them in a new Blue box. That acctually brings into question this idea of multiple new boxes.

COMMON: Seen almost every run
Blue: Most common. Pickups only.
Yellow: Tied with blue. Contains a load of random common materials.
Green: Slightly less common, contains the usual
Red: Less common yet again. same stats as before.
Black: Least common. could get any sort of recipe out of this.

MID-RARE: Seen 1-10 chance per runs
Bronze: Least rare. Can get better recipies out of this.
Orange: Somewhat rare. Spits out random rare materials.
Purple: Rare, Spits out raritys

Rare: 1-100 run chance
White: Pretty rare. Spits out a stack of rarities, mainly orb 3-stacks
Cyan: Unusually rare. Spits out the best recipies
Silver: Incredibly rare. Spits out peices of gear.

Legendary: 1-1000 run chance
Gold: Spits out the rarest peices of gear such as the Ironfang shield.

I've always wondered about that too.

For one thing, I once ended up in one of those Treasure or Health "Make your choice" rooms. I picked Treasure, then nothing but pills popped out.

Red boxes do have a 0% chance of dropping pickups (usables). There are green boxes after danger missions, though (about a 2:1 ratio). Post-boss there are only red. SLs are also red only.
