And I will give you a completely biased and often incorrect answer.
Ask Fehzor her opinion on anything!
Dread Venom Striker easily outclasses most other swords in terms of looks due to its high attack speed, which can be used to kill things that hate the colour green. Of course I like it.
Do you think that the invincitink issue for shard bombs is due for a fix?
and ..
Pokebank.
Do you think shard bombs should be implemented, but in a different name, and nerfed range?
Ok Fehzzor.
In your opinion, what is it like to be a girl?
@Diamondshreddie
To be entirely fair, I could see ways around that to fix them like that.
Pokebank is Nintendo being greedy and I don't like it. With the sheer number of programmers, artists, and game designers they have, I would hope for something more than roughly the same RPG being produced each year anyway.
@Glad-Amparus
But then how would we know that they are shard bombs?
@Rezzler
There isn't really a means for comparison- I can observe how guys react to things, but I can't truly observe how they observe things. The biggest difference seems to be the set of biases that you are given by society. i.e. Misogyny often seems appropriate to men, but would have to come across differently to women.
@Sandwhich-Potato
That's a very important question indeed. I used to be a fan of turkey when I was younger, but since then I've moved on to ham.
Fehzor, here is a serious one, do you believe in freewill? That a person truelly have choices over the things he/she do in life, rather than being predetermined by genes or memes.
For example:
You like chocolate cakes, and you pick a chocolate cake on you birthday, can you say that you chose chocolate cake due to your freewill alone or is it perhaps something else? Maybe it was the fact that both your mother and grandmother liked chocolate cake and the gene is inherited to you? How would you know if it is not your gene that determined chocolate to be your favourite cake flavour?
Perhaps it was because of memes, 'chocolate tastes good!', 'chocolate is what you are suppose to eat on birthday!' or 'chocolate is healthy!' these words of mouth could also have made you to believe that chocolate tastes good, despite your real favourite is carrrot flavoured cake.
Here is a much more serious example:
I was brought up by my mother, who treated my very badly when I was young, she demostrated me the essence of hatred and I learned to loath my classmate and in respond, they showed me the same hatred as my mother did to me. Can hatred be infectious? Can it be passed on from one to the other like the genes that one could passon to his/her offsprings.
I tried to control my anger but somehow, each time when I see the world I see only more hate, ppl like Rezzler make me loose faith in mankind, so I followed his example to be just as much of jerk as he is. He infected me with his memes, just like I have infected you with this message. You can argue that my emotional state is my own personal choice, but yet, there is a saying that everyone is a product of their past. Should I hold my mother responsible for my unhappiness, or is she innocent? If she had a choice not to expose me to hatred, then why didn't she made the 'right' choice in the first place?
"Freewill is a myth, religion is a joke, we are all possessed by something greater, memes, DNA of the sould, they are all that we have and all that we pass on." -Monsoon, from a video character that I liked.
Not nearly as important as the turkey vs ham question, but I'll give it a go. I think that our notion of free will is an illusion, but that it doesn't really effect anything in a huge way.
We are basically game theory solvers, trying for the best outcome based on a rather large set of inputs. We must come up with the best possible solution in a deterministic fashion- it feels like free will because prior to making our decision, we must weight several outcomes. Just as faulty concepts such as object permanence are used to great effect, our cognition comes from this basic fact, that our decisions are based on our perception and reliance on the concept of free will.
I say that it doesn't effect anything in a huge way first because we as humans are incapable of running a just society in the first place and second because understanding our process as being deterministic does nothing to change the underlying process itself. If we were to remove the notion of free will with regard to the judicial systems of the world, it would simply mean that criminals are broken or impaired. Morally we are inclined to "fix them" with pills and therapy, but we as people lack the resources and mentality to do this.
Removing the notion of free will with regard to our own mental processes would be a huge step backwards- just as removing the idea of object permanence would be. Things like "Welp, free will doesn't exist! I can just do whatever! Woooo!" and "Lost my car keys. Clearly, they must have just dissipated into nothingness or quantum tunneled. Of course." just aren't going to fly.
@Fehzor
V nice.
Ok, here is the simple survey I ask to determine wat kind of person you are, which always fails horribly, but idk, just forget what I typed in this senstnece.. Here goes:
1) Coffee or Tea?
2) Pancakes or Waffles?
3)) Coke or Pepsi?
4) Mac or Windows?
And lastly, what is your preferred method of dying?
Also, @Midnight-Dj
You are a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance fan too? Awesome.
And I must admit I am nothing like how I act on the foruns IRL, I just hate when I try to be nice an some a***ole comes along and craps on you.
I apologize if I come off as a troll towards you, but it is the only defense I can use to shield myself from the trash that unfortunately seeps in. Gotta learn to be smart on the interet. Place like this is no place to try to be nice.
I drink a lot of both.
Waffles.
Coke.
Honestly I'm not very fond of either. Windows is iffy- I only use it because it has good comparability with things and is decent to use... but is going in a funny direction with Windows 8. Mac is a bit nicer to code stuff on TBH, but is a bit weird to me still. And both are kind of evil. I guess windows slightly, but really I'd go with Linux, as the one that I'd like to see as the "big" OS that everyone uses.
How do you feel about catalyzers?
You can call me blazz or berry btw, the full name causes wasted energy :x
Catalyzers are fun but I don't think they'll ever be taken seriously due to their difficult learning curve. Really, they need fast moving bullets. Like sentenza. If they behaved like sentenza shots, they'd be so much better.
If the bomb shoots 8 projectiles then it ought to be shard bomb Fehzor. With a different brand name of course.
The parody threads were funny the first time.. Now, they are just annoying...
Yes, a ham supporter! Here's the harder one though:
Mutton stew or beef stew?
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
moreover, what seperates a man from a slave?
@Ardent-Light
Since you ask, I can almost certainly recommend an item for you!
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Shocking_Salt_Bomb
@Sandwich
That is a harder one... I'm going to have to go with beef though.
@Blessid-Bombardier
No! It belongs to everyone.
A man chooses; a slave obeys.
Do you, or anyone else, believe that a deity or multiple dieties are in control of this world? Example: Catholic, Greek Gods (For lack of knowing a better name), Roman gods.
Now if such dieties DID exist, would that then make all our descisions inconsequential and freewill just be a joke? Or does it actually make for meaning in life, that everything we did had meaning and consequences that will affect the choices we can make next time.
I would say (being a SDA, please no dissing, its each to his/her own) that we do have freewill, even though God knows what is going to happen to us. He wants us to hoose the right things, but if we dont, he is cool with that. Disappointed and sad certainly, but in the end, you chose to ignore/disregard Him.
I would like to apologize if this comes across as "Bible Bashing". So if you read this and hold something against me for it, I cant say I didnt warn you with that note up yonder.
Uh oh. You just unleashed the Thinslayer. xD jk
It's simple, really. Think of humanity as God's toys. He can make us do good or bad things as he creates the world's story. He likes the good guys and dislikes the bad guys, but he handles them both. When the bad guys do bad things, he either makes the good guys punish them or punishes them himself. And sometimes he makes the good guys do bad things, too.
So no, God isn't cool with evil. But he still handles it himself. Even though he's the one making the bad guys do bad things, the bad guys still get punished. Why? Because he makes the rules. It's his story; he owns them; he can do whatever the heck he wants with them. If God wants the bad guys to get punished for things he makes them do, that's his prerogative.
Counter to Thin: There is no god.
How dare you Fehzor? Mutton is so delectable! Have you even ever had a bowl of mutton stew?
How do YOU think the universe started? Go ahead, say something religious, I'm not biased.
How do you feel about vog?
+9000 respect for that item recommendation.
Does Fehzor mean anything or is it something you came up with? (Why is your name Fehzor?)
Also in your opinion, what is the best brand of bottled water?
@God questions
I don't believe in or against the existence of a god, though I am inclined to think the existence of an all powerful deity to be rather unlikely. There are a large number of arguments against the existence of a god, but no conclusive way to prove against or for the existence of a god. The existence of an omnipresent god would have to deny us our free will, though many religions are based around the idea that free will exists- this is one of many problems foreseeable with the idea of god existing as a woman in the sky that dictates everything. God could however exist as something more abstract? But honestly these kinds of debates are quite messy and impractical, so lets not do that.
The real thing that I think about religion is that it doesn't matter if there is a god or if she is friendly or if she is abstract or not. Morality and law still exist independently of religion, and there is no reason to hate on people for their differing beliefs, even if they follow the spaghetti monster. If they're out doing crusades or sacrifices for SATAN in their back yard, their religion shouldn't justify it, as it still hurts people. But most religions are, at their core, telling us to turn the other cheek and be decent people.
"Arceus" is kind of funny. Like, they made the thing, and then every other region doesn't care for her. One church to Arceus. One region that even knows what Arceus is. Not much of a god pokemon if you ask me.
@Sonosuke
The universe probably started in the big bang, but creationism is way more exciting so I'm going to go with that.
In the year 1970, it was so that god made the original three humans: Mark Brazill, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner.
Anyone claiming to be older than 44 is lying.
@Extra Salty
My name was Feather before it was Fehzor. I had a friend from Canada with a strong french accent, and he pronounced it over voice chat as "Fay-Zore" and people made fun of him, because he sounded like Al-Qaeda or something... so I changed my name to "Fehzor", so that no one would be able to pronounce it correctly.
And "Feather" is as in a means of optimizing strokes when rowing.
And probably safeway for bottled water lol.
@Blazzberry
Vog is decent armor, it has a good volcanic look to it if you're into that. The sword speed+fire resistance is what makes it work. It'll never be on par with seerus, because seerus is ridiculous and kind of amazing.
@Sandwhich
Yes.
@Dibsville
Fried eggs are the best. I usually put them on toast with hot sauce, but I usually don't get breakfast of eggs.
Did you finish those errands?
So your saying that those religions are hypocritical, or ironic, or something? Because that's actually believable. Unlike all that Jehova's Witness and Christian nonsense. Well, mostly the Witness part.
I'm saying that there are good arguments against all religions and that all arguments against them can be dispelled by some other argument, but that we will never be able to prove any of it right or wrong.
My personal belief is to not bank on these things or take them 100% seriously, but that I'm not going to stop you from worshiping whoever you want, provided that your god's idea of a good time isn't just blatantly immoral.
How about the Church of the FSM? The Flying Spaghetti Monster?
It was intended to be satirical, and does a good job at that.
Uh yeah no it's actually a serious religion. See?
I am looking to build a loadout with a chaos set, random 5* shield and a swiftstrike, and then 2-3 weapons (one at 5*). What weapons would you chose assuming that the radiant drought will go on forever and one will be at 5* level 1 forever? I would prefer to not have difficult to aquire items listed such as a 5* krogmo reward. Also thoughts on a 5* shield. Since I am unlikeable I generally play solo.
:^Lol©, the one rson who takes this thread seriously. It is fun asking Fehzz random questions though :)
Ok Fehzor, got another one for ya.
What is your favorite car? Or a car you would love to own (disregarding things like price, theft, wait time, etc). Just based on looks and/or performance.
Favorite TF2 class to play as?
Dear Fehzor,
Are we really conscious? To be conscious you must have an absolute sense if your existence and be aware of your state of being alive. Yet do we really know who we are. I am aware that I am alive but do I really know everything that is going on. The fact that humans have imaginations doesn't mean that we are conscious. How can we decipher what we are imagining and what we are not. Part of sensing that you are alive is knowing your surroundings, but when I am in a room I do not see everything at once, but rather my imagination predicts what ought to be behind me based on previous knowledge to create that sense of absolute reality. With this being said, why would this not apply to me knowing who I am? I do not check to make sure I am Nightsthrone everyday, no, I use previous knowledge to assume this.
I believe that "consciousness" is achieved when we have a substantial amount of knowledge about who we are and what our surroundings are like. This gives our imaginations enough information to begin making assumptions and creating our own conscious world.This shows that consciousness is basically Knowledge being interpreted by our Imaginations. The more blanks the imagination must fill in, the less stable our reality is. This can explain why more knowledgable people live more stable controlled lives than those with less education.
Nightsthrone
btw do u like chicken noodle or minestrone?
Did someone kill milkman? (Oatmonster perhaps)
Rye, Bourbon, or Scotch?
Mohawks, Frohawks (waitaminute those two are the same), or Spikehawks?
acheron with asi high, ur wearinb bkc and vog, u have 2 pentas,no at, wut is ur dmg [sorry for horrible grammar]
What's your opinion on the new gunner armours?
Could you be descriptive?
Pictures of the armours to help convey how you feel about them wouldn't hurt either.
/look
@Lewisite
That really depends on which weapons you like. For the 5*, I'd recommend getting Operation Crimson Hammer, which would also let you craft a mask of seerus.
Then for the other two weapons, I'd get strike needle and then one of a brandish, alchemer or perhaps troika. Whichever you prefer, they're all good. Troikas have a good smash on the end of them, brandishes are just OP everywhere, and alchemers are good if you're gunning.
This would give you two loadouts-
FSC-
Mask of Seerus + Chaos Cloak = positive fire resistance, amazing gun stats.
Strike Needle + Brandish/Alchemer/Troika + Rocket Hammer
Everything Else-
Chaos Set
Appropriate weapons
Another option would be to go after the roarmulus twins- in which case divine avenger would be the best 5* weapon, with blackhawk on the side. Then you'd want to craft a strike needle anyway, because you'll probably need that for vanaduke. Unless you don't care about vanaduke at all, in which case you can just make whatever.
As for the shield, it depends on what you're using it for. If the answer to that is "everything", then you'll want an omega shell, as that is "decent" everywhere, but not necessarily the greatest thing anywhere. If you want the greatest thing everywhere, you'll want to just spammily craft all of the shields when you have time, starting with where you play most.
@Dibsville
I don't believe that OOO has publicly released any new pictures, could you show me?
@Terrty
Your damage is ultra of course.
@Sonosuke
Fohawks are the nicest, though I'm not that big a mohawk/fohawk fan to begin with.
@Sir-Didymus
I'm sure Milkman is fine.
I don't drink. Not that I'm not capable of finding that kind of stuff, or getting in on it. I just don't want to.
@Oat
Nope. Don't sports.
@Nightsthrone
Consciousness is a term that we have given ourselves- it is that I can process what is going on in some form or fashion. The idea that we don't have it is more striking, as it implies a dream-state of some sort that we live in. As though nothing is real.
In our case, as we all sit here typing messages to one another, we ARE in a sort of dream state. We perceive things that are entirely inaccurate and we like it. But we still maintain consciousness, because we can still perceive something and make heads and tails of it.
@Sandwich-Potato
Yes, satire does in fact take itself seriously. Wikipedia, a site dedicated to unbiased information, does not.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster
@Blazzberry
I used to play as spy a lot, with the deadringer.
@Rezzler
In terms of looks, minicoups are the adorable and wonderful. That said, I probably wouldn't get one. They're too small and moving stuff- including people- would be a hassle.
Chowder < Chicken Noodle < Minestrone
I'll take a crack at this. I've waited in line like everyone else, and now it's my turn.
What are your favorite video games? It can be more than one, and all systems are allowed, as well as computers games.
Do you like the DVS too?
