@Blessid because I'm too lazy to think of anouther app :P
-[Fan-Fic]-CRADLE: TWO PATHS (CURRENTLY ACCEPTING, SEE LAST POST)
I am just going to leave an app here.
Name: Betrayus
Race: Gremlin with no fur except his facial features.
Alignment: Good (Defected from Evil)
Appearance
Skills: Able to command large amounts of knights without much trouble
Personality: Has a fiery temper when knights fail a important mission, tries to keep calm but rarely does, very intelligent and if needed, will go into battle himself
Weapons: Wields a Dark Retribution and Leviathan blade.
History: Betrayus used to be a Gremlin Commander helping Seerus out. However, when Seerus died and got replaced with a meaner boss, Betrayus left the gremlin order which meant the gremlins were ordered to kill him. Betrayus saw some knights and wanted to help them and he joined the knights and helped them out.
He wasn't used to not being a commander until one day during a rough fight with the gremlins and the previous commander was sent to the hospital, Betrayus took order and with his expertise, they won.
Battle Sprite(If applicable): Doesn't have a sprite
I'll think about putting this into the story when the next app period opens up.

Name: Knight Inspector
Race: Construct
Alignment: Evil
Appearance
Skills: Physical, Far range and Bomb resistant barriers. Physical barrier negates all sword attacks and charges, Far range barrier negates all guns and charges and Bomb Barrier negates all bomb attacks. Physical activates when Knight Inspector reaches 80% health, 60% health for Far range and 40% for Bomb Resistant Barrier. System Overload: A memory chip inside blows up making Knight Inspector faster attacking and more damaging. Activates at 20% health.
Personality: Calm, likes taunting knights, attacks anyone, aggressive (Only 20% health left) and hates falling over.
Weapons: Cannon Pummel: He rises his cannon high into the air and then pummels it into the ground where explosions move forward. Fire Yellow and Blue flares: Knight Inspector fires from his massive gun which releases flares. Yellow flares fall slower but deal much more damage. Blue flares fall faster and stick onto the ground, after 5 seconds, they blow up, not very damaging.
History: Knight Inspector is a prototype for the Roarmulus Twins which was cancelled due to him attacking anyone, friend or foe.
Battle Sprite(If applicable): Doesn't have one
Seems promising, I'll make some revisions when I get to the story.
Name: Sir Percival (All knights are called sir, no matter what gender)
Race: Knight
Alignment: Unknown (Depends on how Will and his team treat her. If they treat her badly, she will be Evil. If they treat her good, she will be Good.)
Appearance
Skills: Pyrokinesis: Uses fire to perform powerful fire attacks. Fire Spin: Envelops herself in fire and spins towards foes. High chance of burn and her armor value doubles. Fire dash attack: Jumps into the air and spins towards a foe. High damaging and very fast.
Personality: Calm, very patient, talks in old english (such as thee), likes when people are noble, hates when people stand on her tail, smart, does a few stabs with a few piercing dashes and waits for opponents to strike first.
Weapons: A final flourish which is called "Laevatein". The spear can also be used as a shield by placing it in front of her. Deals max piercing damage and armor piercing if the foe has piercing resistance.
History: Sir Percival is the elitist of all knights, helping out anyone. It wouldn't matter where they where fast, slow, weak, strong, or really trapped. She would do nothing to help them out and even save them. Sir Percival also has a habit of dueling people. However, something she never told anyone was the fact, she has a tail that accidentally got attached to her body and not her armor.
Battle Sprite(If applicable): None
-----------------------
Name: Syrus
Race: Gremlin
Alignment: Evil
Appearance
Skills: Unique poison: Syrus expanded his knowledge on poison and started experimenting. After some time, he created a more dangerous poison. Poison now allows healing and no decreased damage but deals severe damage over a few seconds. If the person who was hit doesn't take a remedy pill in a minute, they die. Can't poison Sir Percival's armor.
Personality: Aggressive, dangerous, hates when people bring in robots, smart, master at parkour and a master of hiding.
Weapons: Wields a bow and pulls it back to launch arrows, has 3 variants. Regular: Pulls back a bit and launches one arrow that deals weak piercing and unique poison. Triple Shot: Pulls the bow back almost fully and launches 3 arrows that deals strong piercing and unique poison. Arrow Rain: Pulls back bow fully and launches a whole barrage of arrows (64) that deal max piercing and unique poison. Only activates when Syrus is below half health, only one time use. Personal blade: If anyone gets too close, Syrus stabs a foe and then releases them, when Syrus releases them, the foe is covered in Unique Poison
History: Syrus was a Co-Commander working with Betrayus but, when Betrayus left, Tharix told Syrus to kill Betrayus before the knights knew all their secrets. Tharix also told Syrus to kill Sir Percival if he spotted the dangerous knight. Syrus understood the mission and started looking for them both, Betrayus first.
Battle Sprite(If applicable): Gremlins don't use any.
((OOC: Just putting them here, bored that's all.))
Well, I'm opening the apps again, and I'm in need of some new characters. They will be part of a cult that worships Apocrea and are violently zealous. They all wear hoods from the Shroud of Apocrea event, and are in possession of lots of strange and formidable weaponry. You are allowed to get a creative with the weapons and powers, but never too OP.
Name:
Gender:
Appearance(Picture if possible):
Gear:
Powers(if any):
Personality:
History:
Info on "The Brotherhood of Apocrea":
Led by an individual known only as "The Father", the Cult of Apocrea is a religious group of dark and dangerous knights who believe the key to salvation and godhood lies within the secrets left behind by the Apocreans. Ultimately, they wish to:
1. Ascend to godhood
2. Revive the lost empire of Apocrea.
They will kill anyone who gets in their way. Almost every kin of warrior resides in the cult; Stealthy killers, skilled swordsman, deadly gunslingers, mighty defenders, and even those with unnatural powers, said to be "The disciples of those who came before". The Cult will be the enemy of both the Gremlins and the Spiral Order, and a formidable one at that.
Where is everybody? I mean, what happened? Did your balls drops off?
I'll give you one for the heck of it. It's a character that's gonna be in my fanfic.
Name: Tinker
Gender: Male
Appearance(Picture if possible): A short young aged man with mechanical applications placed around his body.
Gear: Various tinkering tools
Powers(if any): Extreme skills with technology and tinkering
Personality: Very blunt. Doesn't understand socializing norms. He often takes things literal, but not to the point of where its ridiculous. He always sees the job through, and doesn't make many attachments. He may be a little crazy.
History: make it up. The author knows best.
Since No one hath put an entry other than Valorai, I shall put in a second.
Name: Syber
Gender: Male
Appearance(Picture if possible): Obsidian Hood of Sight, Obsidian Hood of Sight
Gear: Obsidian Carbine, Obsidian Point: Barbarous Thorn Blade, but Apocrea purple instead of red, and with a shadowy aura. Mix of Shadow/Piercing.
Powers(if any): Chrono-Blur: Slows down time in a shadowy blob of smoke that lasts for about 1 minute, everything but Syber slows down in this smoke, even projectiles. This allows it to be used as a defensive maneuver. (I don't know what to do for cool-down time, so you can decide its length.)
Personality: Silent, Aggressive, classic Apocrean Cult persona, Not merciful whatsoever.
History: There was always something troubling about Syber, he stayed in the shadows almost indefinitely, nobody was really surprised when he disappeared. Most suspected he traveled to the graveyards, because it matched his personality. When Syber found the Apocrean Cult, he joined it immediately. His weapons are his way of speaking. Always silent, always violent.
Name : Caesar "The Eldest"
Gender : Male
Appearance : http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120310113411/thelegendofthelegendar...
Gear :
Obsidian Devotion Set
Apocrean Crown
Apocrean Disciple Wings
Obsidian Crusher
Obsidian Edge
Powers :
Assimilate - Any Acheron, Graviton Vortex, or Sentenza will temporarily transform into their respective Obsidian versions as long as they are in possession of Caesar. If they are broken from his grasp, then they will revert back to their original forms.
Lunge - When unarmed, Caesar's claws can extend into tentacles, serving as grappling hooks, whips, rope coils, and so forth. Capable of crushing, slicing, and performing fine motor skills as well as any normal finger would. Maximum of 10 tentacles at any one time.
Crown of the Apocrean - At any given time, as long as the crown rests on Caesar's head, the same laser that the Apocrean Harvester uses can be fired for a period of 5 seconds. The laser's recoil is great enough that Caesar will have to rotate his head slowly in order to aim. Thus, it is the preferred method of the Apocrean Harvester that he replicates : grabbing his prey, and ripping their soul out of their bodies with a well-placed beam.
Wings of the Disciple - Caesar overcomes the limits of most Knights' inability to move quickly by wearing the wings of ancient Apocreans, a dubious electromagnetic device that removes the weight of the overbearing robes he wears. By draining a considerable amount of the once-obsolete mist energy, he can dash multiple times and fly for short periods of time...indefinitely.
Personality : Caesar, unlike most other disciples of the Brotherhood, retains the larger majority of what mere Knights would label as "sanity". He is very well-versed in the rituals, and his charisma has invited many new brothers and sister into the cult (if not that, his overwhelming brutality). As an intellectual at his core, his wisdom and inferences have rarely led him to wrong.
Which is why he does not need to wear the robes of Sight, Rituals, or Influence.
But what he lacks is devotion. His brothers and sisters all have the enthusiasm and willingness to end their old shells, their old lives, but him?
Well, his hesitation derives from his upbringing...
Bio :
The Iron Wolves.
Living legends of an era past.
Indomitable soldiers, indestructible, and never, ever killed in action.
Because for them, every ticking second is a second in action.
Caesar was Desna's right hand man before Cradle. Like a match to a barrel of gasoline, he could make things happen. He sparked chaos and anarchy behind enemy lines, he burned and bombed people, buildings, everything. He was born a killer ever since he was ripped out of his mother's womb in the middle of a battle, and was raised a soldier in the refugee camps of Isora. He graduated from normal military actions when he began executing his enemies in a style almost trademarked to him and him only - Caesar's Cut (wordplay on Caesarean Section), a disembowling slice across the opponent's lower stomach.
His only purpose was brutalizing his opponents on Isora, and he never expected anything beyond that.
So when he found himself crash-landed on Cradle, he was lost. When he was invited to join the Rangers, with Desna, he promptly declined.
It was simply for the fact that he didn't want to be doing the same thing over again. Killing was as easy as lifting a finger, and already having spent his first twenty years outside the womb doing the exact something as before...wasn't what he wanted.
But he was without any other skill. Sure, he knew every tactic there was in the book and more, and though he could've easily picked up on geology, he didn't want a life of being some expendable grunt.
He knew how markets worked well enough, but a life of drunken stupor and high-stakes gambling wasn't a life he wanted.
And he was lost...until the cult found him.
On one of his leisurely strolls (more like the daily slaughter) through a Candlestick Keep, he stumbled upon a library chock-full of books on curious topics. Among these tomes was an old script that hinted at an ancient civilization, one with wondrous technological capabilities and incredible discoveries. Now, HERE was at least something that was at least worth pursuing. Perhaps he could get a little bit of fame, or perhaps he might stumble upon something that would truly draw him into archaeology.
Not that the Order would ever sponsor his efforts, much less the other Knights.
So when he began to search for these tomes, he competed against a group of shady Knights, strange fanatics that spouted nonsense, until he slew a few of them and kept one alive. Through torture, he extracted information about the cult, and promptly waited for their next stand-off.
He decided to join them, and that was when things became quite larger than life. Voices began to whisper in his mind, and the voices were those of Sight, Ritual, and Influence. These three entities guided him throughout his fifteen years as a cultist, and during those years, he assassinated the incompetent leaders of the cult by their command. When he was finally the leader himself...the voices disappeared.
In place of three was now one : Devotion. A sort of feminine entity, Devotion claimed itself as a "woman that was never so scorned in her life" for his ignorance. After noticing Caesar's doubts after the disappearance of the other three, Devotion had decided to attempt to finalize Caesar's faith...
...by a method of reverse-logic. She granted him great powers, such as his flight, his tendrils, and his ability to leech souls, but she wanted to see HOW he would use it.
But in the end, the Apocreans would not need such trivial beings, such weaklings, to serve them. In due time, they'd collapse as an empire or as a small cult...not that it mattered.
And Caesar knew it too.
Name: Avalanche
Gender: Male
Appearance
Gear: Armor is similar to chaos set. Golden sword: Can slash foes with a slow swing, deals normal with no chance of freeze.
Powers(if any): Hail of ice: Large ice shards start falling down, deals high elemental and shadow with a high chance of freezing. Once every 5 minutes. Invincible Shield: Activates when ever Avalanche loses 25% health and last for 30 seconds, happens everytime he loses 25%. (E.g. 25%, 50%, 75%). During this time, any allies can harm the team.
Personality: Strong, smart, cold-hearted, talks roughly, often goes for repairers or researchers first (Eve), hates fire, likes ice, undeads and other Apocrean's.
History: Avalanche is the last of the original Apocrean's with their soul absorption ability however, after a long time, he lost that ability and mastered the freeze status. Avalanche started exploring around and even created unique armor so he was still noticeable to Apocrean's but had more defense. Avalanche started going with the rest of the Apocrean's, helping with the far ranged and close up battles.
Name: Drace
Gender: Female
Appearance:
*Sky personal color
*Obsidian Hood of Influence w/ Frosty Scarf
*Obsidian Mantle of Influence w/ Apocrean Disciple Wings + Shadow Parrying Blade
*Underneath her hood is a Cool Tailed Helm w/ Frosty Scarf
Gear:
*Obsidian Blade - A modified Edge made to deal freeze status as well as poison.
*Obsidian Hawk - A modified Carbine made to deal freeze status as well as poison.
*Obsidian Vortex - A modified Crusher that deals freeze status as well as poison.
Powers:
*Instant Transmission - When in a dire situation, Drace can teleport using the Mantle of Influence. This has a cooldown of about 30 seconds.
*Limited Flight capabilities
Personality: Originally having an easy, outgoing personality, Drace has become cold and ruthless once she joined the Apocrean Cult. She also has become partially insane following her "rebirth", as well as being very influential to the other followers. The voice of Influence resides in Drace's head, which she speaks for to the others. On top of this, she has anger issues, stemming from her original personality, and respect towards her followers. Drace also constantly has visions of her past life, especially those of MechTeka. Because of this, Drace has become obsessed with finding out who he was. An avid fighter, she's able to use all three weapon types with ease.
History: Drace has had a long history with MechTeka, being forced to share a pod when the Skylark was shot down. At first, they had a tendency to clash heads during war meetings, always having conflicting opinions on the strategy given. Their commanding officers constantly teased them about it, saying they were like a married couple, arguing like that.
During a routine arcade run of MechTeka's (that Drace joined without consent), they were passing through a compound. As they got to the elevator, a Gremlin Knocker snuck up from behind and sent both clattering to opposite ends of the catwalk. As Drace's grip was slipping, Mech grabbed her and pulled her up to safety. Since then, they have gotten very close with each other, eventually going into an intimate relationship with each other.
However, things changed. Several weeks later, they were once again in another Arcade run. After the third arena depth in a row, the two were about ready to call it quits and return to Haven. Suddenly, tentacles burst from the ground and grabbed Mech and Drace, slowly pulling them under. Drace, who managed to free her arm, sliced up the tentacles surrounding Mech. But before they could pull her out, the remaining tentacles wrapped around her, snapping her neck and dragging her down.
Drace woke up, no longer surrounded by shadowy tentacles, no longer surrounded by ground, no longer dead. Now undead, she is a part of the Apocrean Cult, head of the Influence branch. Drace, without a heart, without feeling, knows only the Apocrea. And one certain knight in her past life who now haunts her in the light.
Now we just need someone to be the head of the Rituals branch.
Name: Rodric Lockley
Gender: Male
Appearance: Hood of Rituals, Black Battle Chef Coat with Prismatic Bomb Bandolier and Surge Parrying Blade. He had a small grey stache and goatee under his hood accompanied by spectacles, much like the dapper combo.
Gear: He owns a set of very painful torture tools to extract information from prisoners, as well as a different set for sacrifices and unholy rituals. Some of his weapons are an Obsidian Carbine and a modified Gran Faust that attacks slower than the original, but a single hit can be enough to vanish even the mightiest of Wardens.
Powers:
True Fear-He can trap his targets within a pocket dimension filled with unspeakable horrors for a short time, traumatizing them when they come back. However, this takes a toll on him, causing nosebleeds, headaches, pain, and hallucinations.
Reanimation-Rodric can bring back the dead to fight for him, and sometimes he can call upon even fouler things(He is capable of summoning an actual Harvester for a short times if he is supplied with enough power).
Pyrokinesis-Rodric can create fire with his mind, but the fire will go out after a short time.
Personality: He cares little for the lives of others, and is a cold, calculating sadist. He enjoys tormenting others with his tools of pain, and often plays music in his little study while doing this. He is a very knowledgable man, he graduated from a very good University on Isora at only 26. As the leader of rituals, he is one of the oldest and highest ranking officers in the brotherhood. When things aren't going well, he makes sure that he makes them go well, at any cost. Rodric, even amongst his brothers and sisters in the brotherhood, regard him as a psychotic. Rodric, scientifically unethical and dangerous, is someone to be reckoned with.
History:
Rodric graduated from Halyconis University on Isora at 26. When the Isorans landed on Cradle, he was in the Spiral Orders services for a time as a biotech even better than Morlin. He was also a celebrated warrior for his age(51) and yet he was still moving like a 30 year old. Soon the secret behind his youth was discovered: dark rituals and consuming souls through murder. The Order exiled him, and now vowing revenge, he ventured into the Clockworks, never to return.
During his time alone, he spent much time in Candlestick Keep, studying old Owlite tomes. While he gained much knowledge, his sanity dwindled, and became a "mad genius" as some would say. Then one day, a mysterious stranger approached him. His face could not be seen, it seemed that he might have lacked one. He wore a religious garb and a hood like no other, and spoke in a tongue that demanded obedience. The voice spoke of power, and vengeance, and it beckoned Rodric to join the darkness. He obliged, and soon he ascended to one of the Brotherhood's most powerful members.
Name: Vlitra
Race: Swarm Fiend
Alignment: Evil / Chaotic Neutral
Appearance
Skills:
*Very fast despite the four giant arms on it's back.
*Can shoot a continuous stream of lasers from the palms, is vulnerable like this.
*Homing shots can be fired from each palm.

*Spiral Laser - Vlitra shoots two lasers from the lower hands as it spins in a circle.
*Here's a demonstration of it's powers (even though the first isn't really Vlitra, they're obviously similar).
Personality: Vlitra may seem like a mindless beast, but it actually is the embodiment of Cradle's anger towards the resource-depleting knights and gremlins. Thus, it cannot be killed, merely subdued for a time. Vlitra is a deadly force to be reckoned with, destroying any knight and gremlin in it's path.
Weapons:
*Large, lava stone arms sprouting from it's back. Regenerates when removed, however it usually takes about 10 minutes.
*Clawed regular hands in case the arms are removed.
Name: Sheogorath (Kudos to those that get the reference)
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://n.nshrine.com/4246/iconurl.jpg
Gear: Black, White, and Purple Obsidian Set, Apocrean Disciple Wings, Apocrean Crown
Powers: Control over shadows, Can transform into an Apocrean Harvester, Can bring the dead back to life, and Can fly
Personality: Sheogorath is probably the most insane out of everyone in the Brotherhood of Apocrea, but he hides this behind a mask of suave calmness. However, at times his true persona, one of chaos and insanity, resurfaces ad he attacks anyone who gets ear him. He is also an excellent liar and manipulator.
History: Sheogorath and his brother were once innocent Isorans, never doing much after the crash except sell the wares that they had accumulated in their adventures in the Clockworks. The two grew old together, until one day his brother was stolen away in the night. Sheogorath immediately set out to save him, but found his brother lying dead on the floor, with an Apocrean Harvester standing over the body. Horrified, he ran away, and became obsessed with killing the Harvester.
But as he studied it, he became more fascinated with the kingdom of Apocrea, and their king, who had desired to reach immortality. However, the kingdom had fallen, and the king had died. This brought a great sadness over Sheogorath, and he decided to rebuild the kingdom and continue the king's dream of becoming immortal, and this desire made him go mad. He then learned of a person who shared similar desires, known simply as "Father". He sought out this man, and together the two formed the Brotherhoood of Apocrea.
Oh okay. I thought you were saying Sheogorath was the leader of one of the branches. Confusion is gone now.
Father was supposed to be a creation of mine(I enjoy being the villain or some embodiment of chaos), so if you could just change the role and history of your character, it would be appreciated.
I just changed the role and history, is the app okay now?
Name: Mephiles
Race: Demon (Came from a boss construct.)
Alignment: Evil
Appearance
Skills: Teleportation: Teleports into a nearby area, able to use every 20 seconds. Soul link: A wire attaches to someone and slows them down and if they are hit, Mephiles regains a bit of his health. Clone attack: Sends out a clone that attacks anyone in the road, much weaker then Mephiles.

Dark Bomb: Releases a similar looking Dark Retribution that deals even more shadow damage.
Passive Crystal Fire: Anyone gets near Mephiles will slowly die due to his feet being covered by fire, weak damage that stacks overtime.
History: When the knights beat Project Mephiles, his soul got released and started to form in Haven. Once his soul formed into his body, he started planning revenge on the gremlins and Apocrean's. Knights didn't bother him providing they didn't attack him. However, one day when he was stealthy following Will's party, he thought he could tell Will had a crush on the girl "Eve".
Mephiles wanted to tear them apart and "if lucky" would attack each other. The problem was, it wouldn't work because Betrayus was in the Knights army. He remember when he got beaten by Betrayus when he was young and went to sleep which is why he was in that robot when he woke up.
*sigh* Deadly....NO. Mephiles is my creation, so I get to make the profile.

Battle Sprite: maskeraith (Mr-sparkles)
Yeah, I don't think you'd want to use that carbine....
No, I don't think you understand. That's an Obsidian weapon. Those things are cursed, and if you use it, it'll corrupt you and cause you to join the Apocrean Cult.
Unless you've been cursed by something else. Then I guess you're fine.
Ummm...that is very well written. Try pronouncing Mcdp, and the backstory and some of the powers aren't very well explained or logical. The Swarm can't be controlled man. It eats everything.
Psych, you mind putting an app for Father? I kinda wanna know what he acts like.
Name: The Father, real name unknown
Gender: Unknown, believed to be male
Race: Unknown

Wise beyond measure, and seems to be very old. He is extremely cunning and lies like a spider in a web of shadows, and waits for his prey to fall into his trap. They always do. He has a snakes tongue and speaks with a tone that demands obedience. He is an excellent liar and planner, and has agents everywhere, maybe even in the Spiral Order...

Nemesis also had a unique skill the others didn't have, healing to Elemental which usually was Construct's weakness. Where is Nemesis now? No-one knows...
