Very well, commence writing.

I need to know who to kill in this chapter. Eve? Or Nick? I'm sorry...You guys chose this.

Will looked at the broken forms of his teammates tied and beaten all around him. He saw fire in their eyes, and it sent a message to Will:

'Tell them anything and I'll kill you.' He heard them all say in unison, whispering into his mind. He know what he had to do. He mustered up all the courage left in his soul, and uttered, with complete conviction:

"I'll never talk." Will said. "I'll never betray the Order." Rodric chuckled.

"But you would be as so quick to betray your friends?" Rodric mused. "That, is extraordinary." He took out his long ebony case, and opened it. It revealed an array of scalpels, knives, and saws. Will cringed.

"You've put your friend's lives in my hands, Mr. Soran. Not wise." A deranged smile spread across his face, and he put a pair of crusty red gloves on.

"These gloves used to be black." He laughed to himself. "Now, we'll start with the Gunner. Lets see if he can still shoot without any fingers." He spun a knife in his hand, but just before he could finish bringing it down, a titanic explosion shook the whole room, maybe even the whole city. Rodric dropped his knife, and swore.

"What the hell?!" A disciple ran into the room.

"The containment field is failing, something is upsetting the balance!" She cried. "It's going to break free!" Another explosion shook the whole compound once more, and Will chain broke. He instantly rushed at Rodric, and got him in a headlock. Will picked up one of the knives scattered about the floor, and lifted it to the old man's eye.

"Alright, you old fool." Will seethed. "Where did you put our weapons, and how the hell do we get out of here?" Rodric laughed, and pointed to the incinerator to the left.

"Your weapons are there." Rodric laughed, gasping for breath. Will tightened his grip, rendering the old man unconscious. He took the weapon he found strapped to his belt, a hulking shadowy sword, and an Obsidian Carbine. The sword was too heavy for his liking, so he gave it to Doomskull.

"I can't fight as well now, you know that, right?" He looked at the bloody lump of flesh covered in bandages that used to be Doomskull's right hand.

"Neither can I," Will replied. "My head still hurts from that concussion." As he cut the rest of his teammates down from their restraints, he gave them the obsidian weapons he found laying about the room.

"Make do with these," Will said. "I don't know what the hell made these weapons, but it's the best we've got right now. Move!" They ran through the dark halls, as the explosions got more frequent and violent. When they finally got back to the city surface, what they saw was unimaginably horrifying. They were at the gate of one of the giant castles found throughout the city. The cave walls were cracking and pouring fire and lava. Buildings were crumbling and getting swallowed by waves of fire pumping steadily from the ground. Will looked around for a way through the fiery tempest, but found no clear way to the staircase.

Sheogorath marched out of the dark hallway behind them, and the knight actually roared at them. Like he was more beast than man, if there was any man left at all. The knight clad in black rushed at them with speed astounding for his size, and swung his Jalovec at them. Doomskull blocked the hulking blade, pushing with all his might. Their attacker did not falter, and kicked Doomskull in the chest, throwing him backwards. Will fired a few mags at Sheogorath, to avail.

Sheogorath brought his sword into the air, and it narrowly missed Will's head, striking his arm instead. He could feel the bones in his left arm snap, and fell to one knee. As the killing blow was about to be delivered, Will rolled to one side, the Jalovec now stuck in the dirt. Will brought the knight's face down on his knee, and stunned Sheogorath with a heavy right haymaker. Sheogorath, now recovering, put up his own fists, ready to take on the knight commander and his teammates. Sheogorath has fought tougher things.

The Father sat patiently on his obsidian throne, the tremors of the earth did not trouble him. He spoke to the empty air:

"Why do you stand in the shadows, my child?" He crooned. "Shadow is where Sight is the strongest."

A tall woman stepped out of the darkness, her tainted Valkyrie Mail were as soundless as her steps. A black Hood of Devotion sat on her head.

"Forgive me," She said. "I only wished to stay unseen should any attacker come to harm you. Not that they could even get close."

"Vigilant as always, aren't we Praetoria? Then I have a job for you."

Will was wearing down, his fists now raw from punching. Sheogorath on the other hand, did not tire. And soon, Will would fall, he knew that. Eve tried to land a sword strike on him, but she was knocked to the side like a rag doll. Will narrowed his gaze, and punched harder than usual, at the enemy's stomach. Sheogorath staggered back, the lights in his hood flaring red. Blood seeped from his hood.

A column of fire erupted from the ground, separating them from the cultist. On the rooftop, Praetoria watched. The wings on her back fluttering in anxiety to kill. But instead she took out an obsidian obelisk, and called something forth. Something vile. A shadowy portal appeared in the ground, and a tall slender shadow came out. It was a shadow with hands, and and three purple lights for eyes.

"Oh, scrap..."

It was a squadron of Harvesters. More Apocrean cultists showed up on the scene, and they were surrounded.

"We can't fight them all!" Doomskul yelled.

"You don't have to." Said a new voice. They were unsure of who the voice came from, but then it soon became clear.

"Nick, you don't have to do this, we'll fight them together!" Aekun yelled. MechTeka nodded in agreement. Nick shook his head.

"I'm not new to holding off astounding forces alone. You guys are more valuable to the Order than I am, go now!" He barked at them.

They slowly backed off, while Nick loaded his two Carbines.

"Alright. Let's dance."

No choice here, just wait for Pt. 2. Nick's final stand.
