Guys stop. Possiblespy is doing art for free, and it's perfectly acceptable to do a piece of art for himself. From my experience with watching other artists, guilting him and nagging him to work on free stuff will have the opposite effect, it'll just sap the motivation out of him, and he'll end up working slower.
In any case, I'm probably going to assist Possiblespy with this thread, since I do owe him a little something. :p

Here's some more stuff!
A devilite facing what I now realize is the wrong direction, and the least favorite subject of basically every artist I've ever met!
Oh, and the tortodrone is for an existing request, just... a bit different. The idea I had for how to more strictly follow the original request was a wee bit extra violent, so I figured I could make two versions. The living version just happened to be the one I found a reference picture for first.
At this point, I honestly don't think I'm organized enough to consciously prioritize one thing over another. :D
Also, if the extra bells and whistles aren't worth the time delay, just say so and I'll probably be able to ignore all that and get it done relatively right quick.

Would this be too much of a problem to make me a commission? I would like a picture of my knight, but before I pick the style I would like to know what the difference between block and pixel is. my knight wears an emberbreak helm with a hallow com unit and red personal color. She also wears a skelly suit if you want to know.

Just a difference of programs.
Block pictures are always either 32x32 or 64x64, but are much faster.
Pixel pictures can get as big and un-square as they want, but don't have the speed advantage because, believe it or not, more pixels takes more time.

Progress on Poomph's request. Finally realized the part of the armor connected to one's face is a color that isn't used on the hat. Once that problem was gone, everything went much better.

Yes, as of around ten minutes ago, I have had the "tmbler" thing. I have almost no idea how to do anything, but I'm seventy percent sure I posted a picture of a combination pig/penguin.
Dunno how to send friend requests there, F6 doesn't bring up the social menu for some reason, and the on-screen button is gone. Why doesn't everything work like Spiral Knights? That would make it easier.
So much easier...

Well, I don't have a guide, but here's some things to consider:
-If two colors look similar, but slightly different, it's generally because they're the same. They might not look the same, because of whatever sorcery makes this work, (the top and the bottom are the same color) but using the same color tends to work.
-If a surface wouldn't glow in the dark, even if it's still a bright color, it's almost always mixed with at least some gray.
-If part of an object is colored and part is black: the black is almost always mixed with a really desaturated version of whatever the dominant color on the object is, instead of just being black.
-Lines often curve, even if just a little bit. Almost nothing is perfectly straight. Except rulers.
-Lines are almost never perfectly parallel, because of perspective magic.
-If something is outlined, the outlines of things are not always black, like bullet point three. Black is used often enough, though, and gives a sort of cartoon-ish appearance.
-If something is outlined, the lines are seldom all the same thickness. Lines at the boundaries of object and background tend to be thicker than lines at the boundaries of object and different-part-of-the-same-object.
-Never trust anything pink, ever. There's no pink in a rainbow. Pink is a lie.

Notes: I'd want some sort of profile picture that I could use, so I'd just need the face, but having the entire body would be nice too! :D
If you can't see it on the picture, the knight is wearing a Royal Jelly Crown (with a Military Com Unit, a toasty plume and a Military Mustache), a Skolver Coat (with a Luv Puppy :3, Divine Valkyrie Wings and a Prismatic Cat Tail) and I'm using a Cold Iron. My personal Colo(u)r is purple and I have a Barbarous Thorn Shild and a Combuster.
Notes (Icon):Make the face slightly angeld or something, so that you can see the Com Unit. The background should be just one colour (any colour you like (although I'd prefer blue, red or purple :3)), maybe with the wings or the CiV in the background.
Notes (body): If that first request was too boring for you, you could make the entiry body! XD
I'm not really going to go into detail with this, so you can do whatever you like with this one. :3
Make him fight (with the Combuster or CiV) some slimes (or make him get hit by a develites chair :D), it's up to you, really. The art style is up to you, but pixels would be prefered.
(this 2nd request is just an afterthought, because I mainly want the profile icon thingy... XD)

Woo, almost to the 100th post!
Almost to the 100th post! To celebrate, I've decided to burn it to the ground and open a slightly different free commissions thread elsewhere, that's not limited to just Spiral Knights stuff! This means several things:
- More variety!
- Still free!
- A few more rules, hopefully to let me avoid problems and speed up the pace!
- Totally jinxed it, those rules won't help at all now. Oh well, I tried.
- This thread is now closed, and will not reach the 100th post, meaning this won't go into effect at all!
Anyway, I don't know if that's a good thing overall or not, or if it's even happening at all, but I'm pretty sure the reason this stuff was free in the first place was so I can feel justified when I do stuff like this. Laters! Have a nice day! Goodbye forever!
