Can we ban radiant threads or something? Maybe make an ungrateful complaining forum or something of the sort?

I really do think the forums need this.

No, and you're already here

General discussion is rather notorious for complaining threads.

Also banning threads about radiants will only cause a terrible uproar. The only fix to radiant threads is for radiant fire crystals to be put back into the game so that they are not so stinking uncommon.

(If you're making this thread to end the cycle of problem->complaints->complaints about complaints, it probably won't end there since the problem is so very game-breaking.)

Well people can't heat their stuff. When people can't heat their stuff they get angry. When people get angry they don't like something. When people don't like something they complain. When they complain other people complain. When other people complain, we all complain. Don't complain. Switch to DirectTV.

Last time I checked, I could do lots of things without radiants. The only thing I need radiants for are heating 5* items. That is not game-breaking.

That being said, I should troll more of these threads with science.

Literally game breaking

The game doesn't shut down and stop working when you cannot heat your gear. When you cannot heat your gear, and it is the best gear you have (after essentially "downgrading" it), it will not encourage players to continue playing. If that paywall isn't game breaking then I don't know what is.

@Fangel

Most people consider having a lvl 10 Acheron or Blitz game breaking.

Also, have you looked at my math for crafting? F2Pers didn't see much of a change so your "Paywall" argument is invalid. It always existed, and the current situation is about the same farming wise. P2Pers now get a bit less bang for their buck, but that was not what you were talking about.

I'm so funny I should be a forum clown or something..

Yeah, ban ALL complaining threads while you're at it. Weapon imbalance, level rewards that most people don't even bother with and game complaints in general.

I saw a suggestion thread in the suggestions subforums that said it wasn't a suggestion. It was also sexually suggestive and I usually rage against such suggestions so I suggested a thread be made to contain the not-suggestions.

/sigh

Those weapons are indeed powerful, but that is a balancing issue, not a progress issue.

When given a weapon, players will look at its full potential, not it's baby steps. When talking about weapons, we often assume they are level ten. We make all our balancing efforts based upon this final value, as it is concrete and cannot change after reaching "completion". I'm not exactly a completion-oriented person, but if my gear is less effective than what it could be, I will not exactly be happy with that.

As I said before, the game doesn't literally fall apart or become a shattered glass without radiant fire crystals. The "game breaking" function I am talking about is the ability for players to stay around until completion. Players' gameplay is essentially put on hold longer than every hall of heroes mission combined simply to level up a single item from their first 5-star set. They can play as long as they like, but when leveling up takes so long, players will get bored and leave(Which, to a lesser extent, is what happens at hall of heroes missions too). This doesn't break your game, but it is a potential customer lost.

TL;DR - "Game breaking" is in this case, losing hooked potential customers.

I think we'll just have to wait for radiants.

You know how radiants can only really be found on the very last floor of tier 3?

In tier 2, the only place you can get shinings is the last floor before emberlight.

I'll let you work it out.

You can't ask for people to be silenced.
They have as much right to express their concern about radiants, as you have to make this thread.

Can we stop making threads

Can we stop making threads asking people to stop complaining because we all know it won't stop? I mean at least those threads have some meaning to them.

XD

I misread the thread title as "can we ban radiants or something?"

was gonna say it's a bit late for that B|

edit:

@Skepticraven
Just revisiting that thread, my calculations do point to the new system/droprates being 2.5-3.5 times more hours of grinding (17-28 hours ..!) in comparison to get the requirements to be able to get a level 10 5* item - IF you're doing the F2P approach of grinding Vanaduke (non SL) and spend absolutely all profits trying to buy Radiants from the supply depot. Mind you, all the old system needed was the 800 energy to craft the 5* item, whereas the new system takes 'gives' you 5* with alchemy orbs and blocks you from leveling.

Make people pass a specific IQ on an IQ test to be able to use the forums while at it.

I have no mouth and I need to scream

We should IP ban sirus and his alt. Because they really want their voice to be heard by making a new thread instead of posting in a relevant thread every time there's a mass pile of complaint threads.

I really do think the forums needs this.

"The only fix to radiant

"The only fix to radiant threads is for radiant fire crystals to be put back into the game so that they are not so stinking uncommon."

Oh. OK. I thought it was just me. One dive, I got absolutely no radiants at all on my way to The Core, and then next dive I got maybe 3 on the last treasure box cache in level 28. Since the wiki said they appear on Level 27 and above, and potentially in some danger rooms below that, I thought maybe I was just having an unlucky series of dives.

I assume the devs want to make sure we have more incentive to buy crystals from the supply depot. And that the wiki is out of date.

What's more annoying to me is the threads complaining about the complaining about Radiants..
