We can Break Crystals Down into Lower Grade Ones, So I think we Should be Able to Combine them Together to Raise their Grade.
This is basically another way to get radiants. Even after the recent patch which raised the chance of getting them, it's still no where near enough. About 80% of T3 is dropping shinings. Why is shinings dropping more than radiants when radiants use about 1.5x more crystals to level equipment?
Now since 80% is shinings, we will probably still have lots of excess shinings and lots of 5* equipment that still take forever to level.
So why not make use of shinings by making a feature that will allow you to craft up as well. You get 5 lower grade crystals for breaking down 3 higher grade crystals, so make it so we can use 5 lower grade crystals to craft 3 higher level crystals.
Using Alchemy to Combine Lower Grade Crystals Together into Higher Grade ones.
No. End-game players should grind Tier 3, Stratum 6 for Radiant fire crystals. If this was implemented (Not trying to say this idea is horrible), then I would use most of my shining fire crystals (Say 500). I would get probably about 300 Radiant fire crystals. Players would be lazy and simply grind Stratum 5 and not Stratum 6. That would be pretty much bad.
Also, there was reason as to why they've decided to make Radiant fire crystals drop in Stratum 6 only. It's to encourage players to grind Stratum 6 instead of farming Stratum 5 only and leaving Stratum 6. There are the Rank 9 missions for Radiant fire crystals.
They don't drop pure S6, they only drop D27 onwards. That's why I'm making this thread, if they dropped on every depth in S6 then fine but they don't. As I said already, "About 80% of T3 is dropping shinings". That 80% includes a part of S6.
i also made this kind of thread about that, but i don't know why nobody liked it. skyguarder is talking like he has 4* equipment, we will see how much will you like drop rate when you will have to heat up 5* weapons.
It's been argued that it makes sense to break the crystals down, but you can put them back together.
The drop rate now is a significant improvement over the old. And it starts dropping rather generously at 26, not 27. Firesnore Sleepadel is a viable place to grind Radiants now.
Just beat the Danger Mission despite having no Poison or Fire resistance. Got a grand haul of 3 Radiants and 36 Shining ones. The update was worthless crap.
The problem is, we are getting a lot more shinings that radiants, and leveling 5* equipment uses more crystals than 4*. It's not balanced.
Your numbers are really bad in the first post and this post.
I don't have enough data to give a good estimate, but about 35% of fire crystals in D26 are radiant. 19% of green boxes drop fire crystals, 25% of red boxes. That means the average D26 prestige mission box area has about 12 radiants. [This is an average estimate - your mileage will almost certainly vary].
I've posted this in quite a few radiant (complaint) suggested fixes. The math works out to have the farming rate to 1.5x longer for endgame F2Pers only PRIOR to the boosted rates a couple days ago. It is likely the recent boost brought back the time to be about the same farm rate. P2Pers don't have an item similar to the elevator pass, and are worse-off nowadays. Read more about my analysis in this suggestion that I made.
"The problem is, we are getting a lot more shinings that radiants, and leveling 5* equipment uses more crystals than 4*. It's not balanced."
The real problem is people want the most powerful things without having to input much effort. Sorry, that's not how games work. Some things are rare. Some things take time to obtain, and others skill.
I already made a thread about that
