Recently I managed to move to T3 on one of my knights and I think that the crafting system is missed up, before they got rid of the mist and Crystal energy this system was bad any way:
To craft a 2* weapon then you would need: matirals and no energy ( 100 mist energy ) and
some crowns ( not only would I give away 24 hours of gameplay but I also need to pay crowns!? )
Now to craft a 2* weapon you need: materials and 50 energy and the same amount of crowns ( so it's around 7000-8000 crowns if you don't want to buy energy because you can't buy 50 energy you have to buy 100 )
To craft a 3* weapon then you would need: matirals and 100 energy ( +100 mist energy ) and some crowns ( giving away another 24 hours of gameplay ) and all the plus a 2* item to upgrade
Now to craft a 3* weapon you need: materials and 200 energy and the same amount of crowns (7000-8000 crowns) plus a 2* item cost.
With this system in mind it is extremely hard to play spiral knights and keep advancing without buying energy, to upgrade from a 3* item to a 4* you would need 400 energy per item without recipe. For upgrading from T3 to T4 you need 1600 ( you can get 6 elite orbs from missions ) so for a total upgrade from T3 to T4 you would need 162000 crowns including recip, energy and actual crafting price ( keep in mind that this is if you already have a T3 set )
I do understand the OOO need to make someoney but there must be better ways to so like more DLC's just make the gameore playable plz
I think you are a bit lazy. BUT I have to agree its a little... unforgiving at times. It requires no energy unless you are to lazy to farm the orbs. The only orbs I seem to have trouble finding are the 5* ones. Other than that, I seem to have no problems with the crafting system. Though the event at the moment is a tad pricey in terms of crowns... 10k per ID yikes... *sucks it up*
