Well, look down a bit and you'll see this:
Using a forum post to protest a support action, such as a ban, may make it necessary for us to discuss the circumstances of your case in public. We strongly recommend submitting your dispute via the Support Email form instead.
It's stated that it's strongly recommended to use the support email form, as opposed to it being a requirement.

Well I don't know then. I

Well I don't know then. I just read it as a whole as 'DO NOT' do any of the following. That's just the way I am.

I take that rule as "if you protest a ban, we (as in OOO) have every right to say what we want in regards to your ban, so something that you may wish to have kept private could potentially be revealed."

Thus why they strongly recommend us contacting them through support in private. Agreed it isn't very clear, and that last part should not be included seeing as it is specifically in the DO NOT list.

@ Hexzyle; oh yea I see it now. Yep my mistake there.

@ Dragneel-Wiki; I don't follow you? We are discussing a rule. Is there something wrong? What am I turning into! Omg! This hasn't got something to do with this bandage around my head. The hospital told me some wolver skrub through a slab at my head.
