Why

Getting to the last ship possible during the time they where locked together Thurian found himself looking at a falling boat. Ya, don't see this every day. Reaching behind his back the Warden pulled out his rifle looking threw the scope. With the higher refraction he was able to make out the figures of the woman he shot before and Victoria. In what looked like a matter of seconds the whole thing seemed to fall back to the water's surface.

Right, I should get the armor piercing shots, the flag ship of the enemy needs to be suck at once. Reaching behind his back Thurian pulled out a clip for the rifle which had only one shell. It was a heavy round, designed to break threw armor and shields. Of course using this bullet was strickly illegal in a time of war or any time for that matter. Looking threw the scope he found the leader of the Flag ship and called it in.

To Victoria's Communication device:

"I have sights on the enemy. Requesting use of the Armor Piecing round, .35 Bunker. Over."

Orders given!

"Permission granted, do whatever you must to stop them!"

She locked swords with a Morai soldier and kicked another one off the ship. Victoria grabbed her shotgun and shot the man in square in the chest. She looked at both Barbossa and Sistele, now back on the deck, and called her soldiers to arms.

Taking a moment Thurian looked down the barel, he knew if anything the sound of the shot would be the last thing to reach the enemy but the flash of light from this distance gave them a second of reaction time. To a normal soldier this was not enough time to do anything, but anyone with aogmented reflex's or since's would be able to get out of the bullets direct fire, the wind-shear would be what caused the real damage.

Aim small, miss small. Releasing his breath Thurian made the adjustments to his shot to take down the navigation and captain of the enemy ship. IN a since he was going to leave the Flag ship useless on the sea. Once the adjustments where made he slowly squeezed the trigger.

The sound of his rifle expending the round was heard, deafening the ear's of those around him as well as causing the tip of his gun to glow a soft red from the amount of force and powder used in the shot.

Time seemed to slow down for a moment as he waited, if anything he would hear the bullet punching threw the helmsmen and then the sight of the Navi unit dying. Did it hit it's mark, or just alert the enemy he was using .35 Bunker rounds...

(Did it hit or miss Psychnade? Thurian might be a dead shot here but I am still going to leave this to you since them making it to the prison is a plot point.)

Sniper's of a kind/FIRE THE BASS CANNON!

Rhea ran to higher ground, So she could use her sniper rifle. It just so happens, that it was the same place Thurian was aiming from.
Rhea took a look at him, And silently pulled out her Crimson Rifle.

(Khaaaaaan.)

Well, it might as well be a direct miss. Thurian though as he racked his rifle, the rather large shell casing falling to the ground as he dropped the clip and loaded in a new one. Looking to his left he saw the new sniper.

"Not to be rude, but two snipers next to one another is the worst idea unless you want to be my spotter. Other wise your going to get one of us shot." Thurian said as he loaded up the next shot. He did not look threw the scope this time, instead aiming right down the iron sights. His words might have been a little harsh but it was the truth, two snipers firing from the same place was just a dead give away where they where.

Alright, I know I hit the helmsmen. That will slow them down enough we might be able to get someone onboard. Or they will see me, but with no snipers to fire at us we are safe. Good thing too, I hate snipers. Moving over the ship he looked around trying to see if he could find the heavily armored man, his train of though was if he could some how hurt that man he might be able to slow the enemy or at the very least make them retreat to save their lifes.

"Look, if your going to be next to me, be my spotter and find their leader."

... Fine.

Rhea looked over at Thurian, And simply stared at him.
"... Fine."
Once again, Rhea looked through her scope, Her finger no longer on the trigger.
Rhea looked at the third boat, Hoping that their leader was as much of a coward as she thought that they were.
The deck was lined with a few soldiers, But nobody of due importance.
The Stern (You know what I mean..) was empty, Minus the Helmsman, Who was Bleeding out. Was somehow empty, But the Hull had two men discussing something that seemed to be important.

"Third ship. He's on the Upper Hull, He's not alone."

"Alright, you take one, I will take the other. If we fire our shots at the same time it will mask the fact their are two of us."

With that said he quickly re-aimed his weapon as of his life depended on it. "I have the one on the right in my sights. I need you to take the one on the left. This way we won't cross bullets. Rule number one about sniping, take you're time. You have all the time in the world, aim small miss small."

With that said Thurian took in a deep breath as he slowly lifted his weapon up on tick and to the left two ticks to make of for the distance. "Aim up and three ticks ahead of the target, this will counter act Lunar gravity." With that said he slowly squeezed the trigger.

A loud crack followed by a flash, once that was done he lowered his weapon to see if the bullet made contact.

(No we wait.)

Should have let him be.

Cannons and gunfire filled the air around the prison, as the sounds echoed through the bowel's of the coastal prison. Some dust had been seen falling as the foundations of the prison shook from the on-shore artillery unloading its rounds into the rear of the Morai force and any trying to escape. Bastion kept his head facing down toward the floor, focussing on the sound of battle and warfare. The rythmnic firing of the batteries spurred him to tap his fingers onto his armoured leg, the sound of metal on metal making a distinct clinking sound in a pattern of threes.

A Prison guard came up to the bars and knocked a few times, trying to get the Lord's attention. He knocked on the bars a few times with his Guard issue Stun Gun.

"Oi, knock that off".

Bastion didn't notice the guard, and continued to tap in the rythmnic motion.

1-2-3...1-2-3...1-2-3...

The guard knocked harder, trying to gain Bastion's attention once again.

"Hey! I said knock that off". At this point the guard was losing his composure, as he rested his hand on the hilt of his stun gun, ready to pacify the ominous captive in an attempt at a peaceful shift.

Bastion remained tapping his fingers to the 1-2-3 pattern, the sounds getting increasingly louder. The Guard shook his head in frustration, as he fondled his ring of keys, looking for the one for that particular cell. Locating the key while looking down, murmuring something about how he'd carry on the rythmn with rounds to his head, he opened the door. The Guard looked up to see a palm of an open gauntlet grasp onto his face and slam the back of his head onto the wall. With a sharp crack, the guard fell unconscious, his hand easing the grip on the stun gun as it fell to the floor with a soft rattle.

The Morai Executioner knelt down to the guard, and placed his gauntlets around the guard's limp head. A swift movement created a distinct crack, killing the ex-isoran silently. Bastion raised up, and proceeded to pace slowly toward the armoury where his sword was kept, murmuring to himself as the sounds of his footsteps echoed through-out the basement area.

"To show mercy is to admit you do not possess the resolve to kill, and to avoid killing is a sign of cowardice, un-befitting of any warrior". Lord Bastion reached the armoury, as he looked around the area for a means to unlock it.

Filler.

Rhea breathed in... And out. Through the scope, She could see the soldier's tiny head.
(Whee, Reuseage.)
'And... Fire.'
The silencer stopped the bullet from making noise.
To make sure that they hadn't screwed up, Rhea looked through her scope.

The soldiers head split open as he tried to run across the deck.

_______

The guards fired down the hallway, the Morai returning fire in equal measure.

"The Morai have made it into the prison," said the guard on the comm. "They've taken cellblock one, we require assistance now!"

"Alright, good shot. Now get down to the helm, get us headed in the direction of the prison. They are trying to get some one or something out. We need to stop them, also try not to kill anyone save for an enemy sniper. None sniper combatens' had no idea they where getting shot, so they don't deserve to die."

With that said Thurian unloaded his clip, ejected the spent bullet shell and quickly loaded up a clip of normal rifle ammo. Silently he went about picking off more soldier's from the top deck's, knowing full well he was going to get yelled at for using illegal rounds.

Bastion looked back toward the table the dead guard had been sitting by, strewn with various documents on other in-mates. Adjacent to the desk was a board on the wall, various pins posted into it detailing shifts and guard priorities, along with a fire safety chart. On a few of the pins were keys attached to pieces of string, labels attached to those. One one lable read the word "Armoury". Bastion grunted as he took the key and waltzed over with it toward the armoury door.

A soft click and short buzz followed as the door was unlocked. There were many kinds of weapons and guns kept in various boxes and cases. But upon a stand in the middle of the room, lay a Long Blade acting almost as a centre piece. Bastion stepped up the the weapon and removed it from its stand, placing it into the sheath on his back. The Morai took his time walking to the stairs. As he began to ascend, each step made the echo of metal on metal, as a countdown of the Executioner reaching the exit.

The figure's face is lit up, revealing clown-like facepaint. The light flickers off his face as he assigns various outposts and prison's on the his side of the board, otherwise know as, the Order's side. He then assigns various known outposts and prisons on the opposite side of the board, the Morai's side. He giggles, and all the chess pieces light up.

DAOXIN

His eyes light up from the Crow's Nest. He took a deep breath, and had to force himself to look below. Everyone was attacking each other, like mindless savages. It's almost not natural, their hate for each other. Could there....be something behind it? But, what would have the cunning or even the power to make their blood boil for each other? He thought to himself as he saw the blood spill everywhere. Soon though, the dark past would be uncovered. However, now was to focus on the present. Yes, seeing everything beforehand was too disorienting...

He jumped down, and flew across the deck, his feet like blurs. He ran into a Morai, one whow as sniping, and wrapped his arms around the stranger. He let out an explosive burst of Sleep. The man went limp in his arms, and he hid the sleeper in a barrel. Jumping away from someone's arms trying to catch him, he delivered a swift kick to their chest, and a burst of Sleep sent them off to their dreams. Oh, the one behind the wheel. Good idea....

He sped toward the one steering the ship, jumping up and ready to deliver more slumber.

Looking threw his scope Thruian was about to plug another round into an enemy Sniper till he saw the Morai get knocked out. Mercy to some one who sits in the back and kills with out even seeing their face. Alright mister, lets see what your up to.

Watching the man move around he was like some kind of assassin. Moving rather quickly but not too fast that Thurian had trouble tracking him. Once he came to a stop Thruian saw his goal. It looked like the Helmsmen of the ship. No, I won't let you take this one. Taking a breath the man slowly aimed his weapon, getting the right spots placed, three notchs up, two to the right, plus one for the swell.

Letting out his breath he took the shot, the flash of the mussel was all that was left before the body of the Helmsmen hit the floor with a new wounded side.

It was a none fatal shot but if he was left to sit their then he would die. Alright stranger, lets see if your on my side or the enemy. Shot at me and you will be dead. Other wise your on ourside.

Barbossa rushed forward, leaping from ship to ship, slayin, until he reached the flagship. He was about to thrust forward, when he felt the lead Spiral ship ram into him. The effect of the crash sent his boat into splinters, and shot him into the air as the flagship's gunpowder supply detonated. He landed on the beach, armor slightly singed, with his helmet askew. Realizing that there was no time to turn back, he put his helmet back on and rna up to the entrance.

The guards were already dead, so he rushed inside, finding Morai's freeing the prisoners and outfitting them with weapons from the dead guards. Barbossa smiled, and continued on. He reached a door, and threw it open, seeing a familiar figure striding up the hall with methodical calmness.

"Hello, Bastion."

Victoria watched Barbossa speed off into the prison's now breached walls. The ship had hit its target and now the flagship was slowly sinking by the shore. Victoria hopped onto the beach, and radioed the rest of the outer wall guards.

"Attention all personnel of Knossos Ridge: high priority prisoners are trying to escape the facility. I am initiating master lockdown and coming inside with a team. You are authorized to use lethal force, do whatever you must to keep everyone in the prison. Use the automated turrets to keep the ships back."

Victoria gazed out at the five remaining attack ships.

"Engage the remaining Morai ships in combat, and send in boarding parties"

Hopping down from his little advantage point Thurian quickly found himself standing on the same deck level of a war torn ship. Shaking his head he quickly bolted down and off the ship trying to get to dry land as quickly as possible. I hate ships so much right now, I will be more the excited of I never have to get on one for a while. Outside of that I suppose I can fire a little quicker since I don't have to aim for swells now.

Once on dry land he found Victoria and saluted. "SIR! Permission to take up a spot on the peak over looking the prison or some where of equal high."

Bastion's back.

Bastion's steps echo'd all the way up the remaining metal slats, the distance toward the exit closing down by the second. He could hear the sounds of Morai troopers fighting in the distance, spilling blood and reaping victory, or dying in their own pools of crimson, relishing their few moments of combat. He stopped his pace. He could hear shuffling feet a few feet in front of him on the otherside of the wall. He could tell they were prepared to open fire at anything that came through the sliding security door.

The batch of guards that had heard orders to contain high-priority prisoners had converged on the cell block holding the executioner. Taking up a firing line, they awaited whatever came out of the doors, in the ideals of keeping the peace. The doors slid open, and they opened a round of fire. The bullets flew into the far wall, as nothing stood in the frame. The appointed leader signalled two of the 7 guards to investigate. Cautiously they approached the door, and investigated around the corner. A few moments of intense silence were followed by 2 distinct sounds of metal cleaving bone, and corpses falling down the stairs.

The guards tensed up, grasping their guns tighter. The appointed leader tossed in a smoke grenade, to gas Bastion out. The doorway filled with smoke and low visibilty mist. Two more of the group moved in with shock batons to try and engage the Morai captive. A second moment of silence with baited breath was had by the three that had held back. The familiar sound of a cleaving blade was heard, before a silouhette shadowed the smoke in the door. The looming frame began to advance on the remaining troops, as they found themselves too afraid to move. One of the guards pulled its trigger, as the bullet ricocheted off of Bastion's blade. The guard looked up in shock as he found a greatsword split his skull in twain, spraying blood upon his last comrades. The other two began to whimper and ran. Lord Bastion grasped his sword as a javelin and thrust it toward the fleeing spirals. The guard trailing behind the other stumbled, soon finding himself impaled into the ground by Bastion's blade, finding its mark. His last moments were had, stretching his hands outward toward the exit.

"Okay, now we've got to go! We have Bastion and some of the other important prisoners." he said, taking out a radio. He contacted Morai HQ, and told them to send five dropships.

Once the task was done, Barbossa pulled out his gun, switched it to rifle mode, and began blasting Knights. "We have to wait about thirty minutes for the ships. I've instructed them to land about seven miles away from Knossos!" Let's go!" he commanded.

Guess who else is back.

Welp, better late than never... Nile thought as he hiked up a cliff overlooking the battlesight. The giant warships came into view as they fired at each other in the air. The battlefield on the ground was littered with fallen airship parts. An ocean was on one side and the prison of Knossos stood facing it.

Reaching up, Nile sent a quick message to his newly assigned commander.

"Aturin Knight Victoria, this is Nile Walker, I have arrived at the battlefield. My position is a cliff overlooking the prison. Awaiting orders."

He reached behind him and unlatched his rifle. Lying down near the edge of the cliff and looking through the scope. Now, where are you Morai?

Vogdamn It

DAOXIN

"What the hell am I doing..." Daoxin pinched the bridge of his nose out of frustration, muttering to himself. "I can't think for a Vogdamn second, can I?" He watches those around him run into the prison, completely unaware of his presence. With the flourish of his cloak, he walks and jump to the dry land. Someone nearby was issuing commands through a radio. A Spiral ran at him, assuming him for a Morai. With a swift spin and a flying kick to the jaw, the man fell backwards. Daoxin stomped on the man's chest, forcing him to Sleep. Such treatment would not be permissible. A dark lord depended on his presence among these warring Isorans. Intel from generals and such was only so limited...

XINDAO

"I noticed a breach in the prison of Knossos." Xindao speaks calmly, lounging in his throne. "Tell me why this was allowed, and if you can fix it. If not, there may be some....consequences." He giggles to the hologram of a certain general of the navy. "If it can't be salvaged, the prison must go." Xindao lets out a mix of a giggle and a growl, his clown-painted face smiling into the general's worried eyes. "You understand what I'm saying, yes?"

DAOXIN

He walks through the door, dragging the body of a Morai who tried to kill him with a war axe. He throws it away, and slams a guard into the wall. Leaning in, he breathes with a forced-calm. "Get everyone you can. Seal that hole up, even with your lives. They will only be shortened if you people continue to do nothing. Get me someone in charge here!" He throws the guard away to find some help. Daoxin seats himself in the waiting center, as more bodies force their way through the door in a scarlet attempt to best the other. "Lowbloods. They cannot figure anything correctly..." He mutters to himself, his eyes flickering a pale-blue from their normal darkness.

((Whether the general is someone's roleplay character or not is up to them to decide, or just another NPC. If not, just another interaction lost...))

"Of course." The blonde young man's attractive face smiled slightly as he pressed the button on the device, closing the transmission to Xindao. A cynical smile spread across his face as he removed the Spiral uniform he was wearing, revealing a black long-sleeved untucked shirt and ankle-length black pants. He stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking the entire battlefield, his emerald eyes gazing at the infinite horizon that separated the lapis sea from a darker sky. Sparse winds blew his flawless platinum hair so that it swayed from right to left as he ran his right hand through his hair.

All is proceeding as planned. And as expected, Xindao didn't suspect me. I'm really outdoing myself.

Nathan chuckled quietly to himself before jumping from the cliff onto the beach, bending his knees as he landed onto the soft, golden sea of sand so as to reduce the impact of the fall.

Coming back

Sistele hit the ship hard with a resounding *thud*. The impact knocked the wind clean out of her. "Not cool, woman!" she exclaimed furiously. She angrily slammed Vesuvius into the deck and set it on fire. Her eyes seemed to glow with rage and fury, unsettling the hearts of both Morai and Spiral soldiers alike. "I will not be shown up by some pip-squeak gravity clown! I am better than that! GET BACK HERE!!" She charged in the direction she last saw Victoria and...

...found herself swimming off the beach. Crud. She spotted Victoria on the shore and grinned. There you are, my pretty! You're mine now. Now with a definite target in sight, she swam madly toward the shore, seeming to defy the laws of gravity that would normally have dragged her under with all her weapons and armor on.

Upon reaching the shore, she dropped down on the warm sand and laid there for a few moments. "Ahhhhhhh...y'know, if this weren't a battle, I could totally live this life. But-" she lazily got to her feet and planted Vesuvius in the ground. "-I got a job to do. Now, where's that lil' pip-squeak of a girl?" She glanced around and was pleasantly surprised to find her standing only a few yards away.

She withdrew Vesuvius from the ground and spun it casually in her hand. "Miss me, darling?"

No.

Victoria saw a Morai soldier, the one who had struck her earlier, on the shore, inviting her to a duel.

"Miss me, darling?"

*Sigh*...heroic banter it is.

She lifted up her shotgun and raised her sword in a defensive stance.

"No."

Victoria's sword flared with icy energy, and she rushed at Sistele, ready to deliver a volley of freezing blows.

Turing around the Warden saw the Morai woman who seemed to be on her last leg. Ironic thinking, after all I shot her in the leg. In close range Thurian was all but useless with his rifle, if not for his nastly little quick scoping skill he trained himself. When it came to sword play he knew he would be useless aside from blocking a hit.

"Sir!" THurian yelled out as he lifted his weapon up to line up a none fatal shot. This woman was no sniper thus he had no reason to try and kill her. "The enemy has a wounded leg, she won't bleed out or die. Her movement will be restricted because of the bullet wound and metal in her body. Should we take this one prisoner?" It was a stupid question, after all he was not going to kill her even if the order came down to just that.

Victoria's no slouch.

Sistele raised her sword and tensed up for the onslaught. Volleys of icy blows smashed into her sword, sorely testing her balance and strength of will. No! I can't lose to this woman! she thought, panicking a little as her opponent's skillful strikes mercilessly pounded her back. Step by step, Victoria pushed her ever closer to the shoreline. Steel grated against steel when she finally caught Victoria's blade and held it mere inches from her face.

A single bead of sweat dripped from Sistele's forehead. "Dam, you're a pretty good swordsman. Mind if I ask your name? Mine's Sistele." She locked eyes with her enemy, determined to show her that the Morai never backed down to their foes.

Fix. Now.

"This bunch is useless," the Warden of Knossos stuttered, at his knees to Daoxin. Daoxin crouched down, gripping the man's hair tighter. He leans down, and whispers, "You're incompetence at handling the situation will cost more than your job, sir." The color drained from the man's face. He got up in a hurry, and turned to the people at the front desks of the prison. They nodded, and quickly began calling some people. Within the next ten minutes, a border patrol will be set up to isolate the prison. There was, apparently, a few of the more dangerous Morai cooped up in here. One was a specific problem. Lord Bastion, famed Executioner.

Seizing a microphone from the desk, he had two Spiral women pick up some speakers, and carry them outside. Once it, was clear the system could now speak out through the siren-speakers, Daoxin turned on the microphone and spoke. "All members of Spiral, there is a breach. We need assist #9945. I repeat, Spiral's, assist #9945. That is all." He clicked a switch on the microphone, turning it off and allowing the sirens to blare out. The Spiral's would easily know the number code was nonsense and retreat to the prison anyway out of the common sense that was their basic training. If we lose this fight, we will go down swinging. No exceptions. This prison is going to be blown to smithereens anyway. Might as well make the time worth it. Looks like this lot was receiving their death sentence ahead of schedule.

Something was off though. A deception of a sort. A lie, hidden and overlooked

Looking at the two Thurian sighed as he stood with his weapon laying across his chest piece. This fight was turning into more of a personal grudge match then a battle. With a unseen smile Thurian reached behind him into on of his ammo pouches and pulled out a red Tipped bullet, a .35 Bunker, his last one. Pulling the action back on his rifle the Warden loaded the shot into his rifle and looked at the woman.

Well, I suppose it's over kill but something is telling me these two are not the main consern at the moment. Unwanting to miss the action the Warden placed his rifle in the holster on his and pulled out his shield and Blade, any normal Morai would have started running at this point seeing a Warden in full arms. Who will win, I don't care. If the Morai woman wins she will have to fight me while I am rested if she wish's to get away. If she lose's I suppose I will save her from being killed. Directions.

The executioner paced forward at a brisk pace, greatsword swinging in arcs to his sides and front. Any spirals that did not get out of the way of the deadly blade were cleaved in two, or left with an arm or leg less. Bastion reached another security door. Having no key around, he poised his sword into a riposte position, and thrust it through the lock. The door fizzled and slowly slid open due to malfunction, than any jury rigged lock pick attempt. The Morai stepped through to see the backs of spirals locked in a firefight with the morais who had opened up the breach.

The Morais spotted their famed champion, and took cover behind their make-shift barricade. The confused spirals looked at eachother, before the instance in where their heads began to roll one by one. As the last spiral begged for mercy, he found a greatsword plunged from gullet to groin, straight down his throat. Bastioned withdrew his sword, and cleaned the blood off on his cape. Striding forward, he spoke to the Morai in a dark and forboding tone,

"It is good to see you relish in the combat. Make sure you spill as much crimson from these spirals as you can this day. Direct me to the captain first, if that crazy one is still alive...". One of the morai holstering his rifle pointed in the direction of where the breach had originally occured. Bastion made a short grunt in understanding, and set off at a brisk pace once more, eager to get into the fray.

The buckshot stops here.

Getting shot at nearly point-blank range is hardly ideal for one's survival. Sistele's armor took the brunt of the impact, and it sent her sprawling into the sand. At this rate, I'm not going to forget that name. Victoria Moireton. She was about to get up to continue fighting when she heard the sounds of unsheathed weapons. She glanced back to find the source.

A Spiral Warden.

Any rational soldier would have split and run. But Sistele wasn't exactly a rational person. She picked up Vesuvius, took a step back from both opponents, and grinned mischievously. "So, you both wanna piece of the action? Your funeral." Trying to hide her wounded leg, she put her best foot forward and brandished her blade provocatively. "Give me your best shot!"

"I already did, and it is currently planted in your leg dear. Now lets avoid any more blood shed to day and have you give up, please?" Thurian hoped to appeal to the woman's humanity, but she seemed dead set on trying to kill Thurian and his commander so it was kind of a long shot. A rational person would have given up, but I am going to guess your not rational so your going to attack with everything you have.

Detonation Imminent

DAOXIN

The plan wouldn't work. Everyone was going to die. And it was all because of the Spiral's incompetence and willingness to fall to their knees and accept their fate to the guillotine. That's all this was now. Daoxin could hardly stand it. People dying left and right for no good reason. He walked behind a desk, and entered a few key passwords his informant had given him. He set the detonator to an hour or two from now. This was the punishment for those who couldn't cooperate.

He linked in to the news feed in a separate program. Scrolling through, he couldn't find anything about the advances of the Morai. Probably because this here WAS their advance. And he though to himself as he scrolled through the tidbits that could decide the fate of future advancements. Words from his mouth could stop someone in their tracks. And yet....he couldn't find a way to summon them. He had blades....but they weren't stained with blood. A secret he kept to himself...

I can instigate plans, sure...but when have I ever stuck up as an individual... His thoughts were lost in the lives of those around him. They fell to the ground in crimson splashes. He ducked down, and gunfire sprawled across the walls. He pulls a seal from his Sai handle. He placed it on the ground between the desks leading to the prison doors, and it grew into a sigil. He waited, and waited, for the right time to face them.

No orders? My kind of fight!

Minutes past. Oh well, guess I'll wing it. Nile peered through the scope. There was a duel going on between a Fiery Morai Warrior and a Warden. Something was going on at the prison. Some Morai seemed to be putting up a fight. The lead Morai was making quite a mess. Hm, that looks like a problem. Nile adjusted the focus and zoomed in, aiming for the leading swordsmen.

The silencer let out a muffled "pew" as the bullet leapt away. The sniper cringed as he realized he jerked his hand a little just before he fired. He followed up on the first shot by firing two more shots immediately. Adjusting the aim by a millimeter. After the volley, he paused to see where they hit.

(Edolas, your turn...)

Barbossa and his soldiers slowly moved out the door, spreading around the front, shooting, their forces increased by the released prisoners "If we can just make it the back of the building, we can get to the clearing..." he thought as he nonchalantly ripped a knight's head off.

Double teamed!

Victoria noticed the way she favored her left foot and analyzed the entire picture. If she could incapacitate that other leg, Sistele's efficiency would be shot completely, and we'd have another prisoner to innterrogate.

She lunged at Sistele, aiming right at her shoulder, while as she got closer, she prepared to strike her left knee with the end of her shotgun.

Epic...And Double Teamed, all right!

Barbossa glanced in their direction. "Time to play dirty!" he whispered, and quitely raced forward, the only sound bei ng the clash of swords and rifles blasting. He came up behind Victoria, grabbed her by the neck, and pulled her from Sistele.

That...was unexpected...

OOC: I was preparing to let Sistele get captured. That was rather unexpected, Aekun. O_o

BIC: Sistele barely blocked the attack on her shoulder. "I'm...not...giving...UP!!" she retorted. She batted away Victoria's sword and turned to face Thurian. "That dumb comment is gonna land you in a world of hurt," she added with a sneer. She let out an enraged yell and flew at him, bringing down the fiery wrath of Vesuvius over his head.

Nathan's gaze found itself on an fierce red-haired woman, whose sword was engulfed in heavy conflagration. Brandishing her blade provocatively, she put her wounded leg back and taunted her enemies.

That must be Sistele, the fiery Morai Deathbringer.

The calm golden-haired female she was battling held a sword enshrouded in icy energy as she neared Sistele, her composure not fading even as the battle became more strenuous.

And that must be Victoria - the Aturin Knight.

Alongside her was a high-ranking Warden of the Spiral Order. He seemed to be overlooking the match, and was fully equipped in the case where either of them lost. He taunted Sistele back, shocking her slightly as she took another step backwards. Unexpectedly, in a stealthy motion, a white-haired middle aged man crept behind Victoria, grabbing her by the neck and pulling her from Sistele. Without the extra opponent, Sistele focused the unrivaled fury of Vesuvius onto the Warden.

The man punched Victoria in the face, and trapped her in a headlock. "Sistele!" he called, "Kill her!" As soon as Nathan heard this, he darted speedily towards Victoria in a graceful motion as he materialized Dark Requiem. Nathan's right arm, holding the accursed blade, seemed to move slightly as he stopped when he was within a metre's radius around the man. Almost instantly after that, each of the Morai Deathbringer's gloves were cut in more than 10 different directions - causing them to fall apart and showing the many minor cuts it created on his hands. This inadvertently caused the Morai Deathbringer to release Victoria as Nathan caught her in his arms. "Are you all right, milady?" Nathan charmingly spoke as he smiled handsomely at Victoria.

Bastion was about to reach the main entrance, when a rifle round glanced off of his chest plate. Gaining a new level of alert, Bastion quickly pressed his back against the wall by the window, as two more shots impacted the wall where he had once been. Sheathing his blade, he got low to the ground, and began to shuffle out of view.

In front of him, kay two main doors, where several voices could be heard in some kind of dispute. Bastion picked himself up as he reached the doors, and pressed his hand on one of them to open the way forth. Opening it gently, not wishing to make much noise, he found himself on a level above the ground floor, face with the breach itself, a stiff ocean wind blowing across his face as it whistled. The Morai peered down, seeing the group. Two Morai engaged in what appeared to be a Warden and a Commanding figure.

Bastion smirked, as he began to jump down a series of ledges jutting out from the wall, caused by the rough break-through of the morai ship. Soon he would reach ground level, and unsheath his blade from its hide.

A White Knight

"Ummm...yes." Victoria looked at the man who held her in his arms. "Thanks..."

Never seen him before...he gets a promotion.

She brushed herself off, and looked at Barbossa. Victoria felt a cold flame well up in her consciousness. She gripped her sword in hand and pointed her shotgun at Barbossa.

"Kill that man." She said to Nathan.

Gribbing his blade Thurian just watched as he had intended to before, the only difference was now he had a reason to get into the fight rather then just stand there. Walking up the Warden reared his shield back, with a breath he shoved it forwards in an attempt to knock the back of the one who held Victoria, after all they where paying him no mind what so ever.

The White and Black Blade Dance

"Ummm...yes." Victoria looked at Nathan. "Thanks..." She politely brushed herself off, and turned to the man who had tried to give Sistele an advantage. A scowl spread across her face as she gripped her sword more tightly, pointing her shotgun at Barbossa. "Kill that man." She said to Nathan. As Nathan was about to respond, he noticed the Warden shoving his shield to his back.

I see. So he's taking advantage of the fact that my back was turned towards him and that our attention was taken elsewhere. A very smart strategy, but its noticeable weaknesses make it easy to predict.

As a confident look filled the Warden's countenance, Nathan materialized a second sword in his left hand that emitted a white aura about it to deflect the shield's blow. His left forearm was arched behind his shoulder so that the edge of the blade looked at the ground, and Nathan rotated himself in a clockwise motion so that the Warden stumbled slightly as he moved forward, exposing the Warden's back and sending him staggering slightly to Barbossa as the Warden managed to quickly regain his balance.

"As you wish, Ice Queen." Nathan winked enchantingly at her, and motioned for her to fight with Sistele. Smiling, he assumed an incursive battle stance as the black and white swords emitted their respective auras. This would have intimidated any ordinary knight, as he was not only able to dual-wield, but his swords seemed to be imbued with the powers of light and darkness. "Let's dance!" Nathan rushed swiftly towards Barbossa, unleashing an unbelievably quick and graceful multitude of black and white slashes as he strove to quickly overpower him with a relentless offense.

"HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH MY FIGHT!!" Sistele screamed furiously at Nathan. "THIS IS DISHONORABLE! THIS IS UNFAIR! THIS IS MADNESS! UGH!!" She stomped her foot and threw down her shield in disgust. "COME ON!! FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!!"

Concentrate.

A buckshot whisked past Sistele's ear.

"Back to me." Victoria said. "Concentrate. It's your turn."

She crossed her sword and shotgun in a defensive stance, and motioned for her to attack.

Nathan wants to talk to Sistele.

After pushing Barbossa back with a heavy blow, Nathan turned to face the fiery, yet attractive young lady who shouted at him with an unrivaled fury. "HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH MY FIGHT!!" Sistele continued her verbal assault. "THIS IS DISHONORABLE! THIS IS UNFAIR! THIS IS MADNESS! UGH!!" She stomped her foot and threw down her shield with an immense force, as if disgusted. "COME ON!! FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!!" Turning to quickly face the Ice Queen, Nathan gestured for her to switch battles with him. "Ice Queen, it appears we'll have to switch opponents. Besides, Victoria, after what she's said, I think that I should be the one to battle her." Nathan spun Victoria around so that she faced Barbossa. "Good luck!"

Nathan eyed Sistele carefully. She was a beautiful woman with long, flowing red hair who held a blade brimming with a fire as strong as her spirit. Walking towards her, Nathan spoke with an alluring charisma. "You know, I think you're one of the most beautiful and interesting girls I've ever met. It's quite sad that you want to fight me, really. I would love to know you more." Nathan brushed his flaxen hair to one side as he smiled charmingly to her.

After he reloaded, Nile gritted his teeth in concentration. Dangit, where are you? The Morai had hidden behind a wall. He swiveled his aim over to where the two knights were fighting, it seemed more had joined the fight.

He switched back to the Morai hiding behind a wall. He was descending the ledge and heading towards the fight. Nile watched the direction and adjusted his aim to a ledge a little ways below the Morai. It wasn't very steady, but a thick cord kept it from moving.

The silencer sounded once more as three bullets leapt away and smashed into the cord. They sheared off most of it, but not enough to make it break away. Realizing he didn't have enough time to reload, Nile could only watch and hope the cord would snap when the swordsmen landed on it.

Broken Concentration

"Come on and fi- wait, what?" The compliment had completely blindsided her. She blinked a couple times in disbelief, fingering Vesuvius nervously and hoping there were no tricks or surprises coming her way.

"So, you're saying you...you...like me?" She glanced back at Victoria. "B-but I thought you liked..." Not that it matters. She turned to Nathan and pointed her sword at him. "Explain yourself."

And you'd better hope nobody tries to attack me while we're talking, or I'm gonna kick your butt.
