I remember there was a thread about this trying to collect the drop data after the BS update. The results weren't... how to say it...
Gah, words elude me right now. Thing is, nobody has reported a Rare Drop so far. Not with proof, at least.

That is probably a good assumption considering new players dont have a reason to do the clockworks over missions. They really dont have a reason to go into the clockworks besides gaining money and heat.

I think it's safe to assume that rare drops no longer drop from boxes.
Or it could of been an inconvenience and that the drop rates are extremely low.

Extremely low... Eaaahh...
The fact that no forumer has reported a weapon drop in over six months sort of signifies that they don't drop anymore to me.
Instead we get orb drops that are a lot more common and are practically the same thing but instead we get to choose what we make.

This thread of mine has about 5k boxes recorded. It is approximately 1/3-1/4 of the total boxes that I end up opening. That leaves the chance at less than 0.01% (which is actually my current approximation of triple orb/SoL drop rates).
It would not be unheard of them still existing with extreme rarity, but I am in agreement with the hypothesis of them no longer existing.

I have noticed it's been unusually long since I've seen any weapons drop from boxes. On the other hand there seems to be a slight uptick in item drops from rare monsters: I got a true love locket from a love pup, and my guildy got a volcanic pipe from an imposto cube, all recently.

Just jumping on a topic of drop rates...
Have Forge Bonus rates been... "adjusted" as well?
I fully leveled one 3* and one 4* weapon during past two weeks, and I've only got 25% heat bonus a couple of times despite only going for 100% forging chance. Not even a double level, let alone a forge box (I stopped expecting to see those a while ago).
Does anybody have actual data on forge bonus drop rates?

Whoa, I had no idea impostocubes dropped things.
The last gear drop I got in-game was a Gravity Bomb (4*) from D24 in FSC foreeever ago (before Battle Sprites).
Is that a thing? Weapons from boxes?
