For example i want to craft 3* sword, so i need 200 energy.
a) is it possible to craft it with 100ME and 100CE ?
or
b) i need that whole energy would be CE (200CE) ?

So im currently working on my 4* star equipment and so far have:

- ascended calibur (low ias)
- dusker coat (low shadow def)
- dusker cap (no uv ,might replace this)
-wise owlite shield (medium shadow def)

so for me and in general, what is worth a 4star/5star upgrade ? should i stop at 4 with my calibur and get a atleast medium ias/ctr one or just go with what i have? same for owlite shield and the coat. do you guys only upgrade to 5star with a decent uv or should i later do the finetuning?

It's common knowledge that "more crown and heat drop at the deeper levels of a tier"... but do better materials also drop at the deeper levels of a tier?

Put simply, a 4-star material can drop in Tier 2... is it more likely to drop in the deeper levels of T2 than the shallower levels of T2? Does it ONLY drop in the deeper levels of T2? I don't really pay attention to materials drops/pickups until the end of a run's summary screen.

Hello, I'm fairly new to spiral knights. Althou in the couple of days i've been playing, me and my buddies have already reached tier 3-4 gear.
The game is immensly fun and somewhat relaxing.

There is one question thou, i myself have a friend living over at the US, we would love to have her playing togheter with us.

Aswell as myself do travell alot between US-EU and Southeast-Asia.
I don't know how this game will effect me through steam thou for me when i'm at the US or visiting my family in Southeast-Asia.

Hello! I just started about 3 days ago. If you craft an item with alchemy, and it has a special ability (highlights yellow) does that ability carry over if you upgrade to a higher weapon?

So, I started not to long ago (less than a week ago).

I have an Arc Razor that if my sales go well will be upgraded into a winmillion in the next day or two.
Outside of that I have a wolver cap 2*, Owlite Sheild 2*, Solid Cobalt armor 3* and 350 CE.

So if my sales go well from the auction house, or someone is feeling generous and donates about 15k for my birthday(kidding) I'll get the winmillion today.

I'm dying to be the proud owner of a winmillion.

Outside of that I'm not really quite sure what to shoot for after or what tier I should be on.

was just thinking... how did the ppl who had to pay 7k for energy still manage to play this game? especially getting those 4* items? you cant even use your crown to pay for more energy because most likely you wont have enough money to reach that 7k goal. This is both a rant and a question

So I finally reached 4* gear, and I was curious as to whether Tier 3 produced as much, or perhaps more crowns than Tier 2. Does the difficulty increase significantly? And would it be possible for me to solo much in just 4* gear? I figured clearing up to Basil, and using the recipes to profit would be pretty decent. Also, what resists and such should I go for?
