Don't see anyway to embed an image so a link will have to do: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gVdis8bYMEI/TmVDsE6yqTI/AAAAAAAANjk/m...

Not sure where to go from here.

[Solved] Install help

I have attempted to install Spiral Knights repeatedly for a day now and I can't seem to get it to work. I have updated all of my video drivers, uninstalled and updated java. It continues to tell me that the digest file is invalid or there is a premature eof. I have tried deleting the digest file, as well as replacing both the digest and getdown files as suggested on the technical support forums. Nothing is allowing it to work. I also tried installing through steam instead of the website, but no luck.

How do I uninstall Spiral Knights?

I am using a Windows Xp computer that is about 10 years old right now. I tried to look in the start menu and it only had Spiral Knights, The opening client. Though It isn't in a specific folder that I know of. I tried searching up how to uninstall it but it seems the Control Panel > Add/Remove Files doesn't have SK on it. If you have anything that I could do, please put a reply. I tried downloads folder. Not there. There should be a uninstall button on the next update :/ Well, for Windows Xp Desktop anyways. Though it currently is slow so I wanted to delete it. Please help?

Is it just me or does this game not work on Windows XP SP3?

In the past, I formatted 2 older computers, and I noticed that the game would not start anymore after updating from SP2 to SP3, citing some graphical error in a white box. It may have something to do with some redistributable service 3.0 or something like that. I have now updated a newer computer, still with windows XP, up to SP2, but am unsure about upgrading it to SP3 because of the above. Is this a common problem, has anyone else experienced this, and should I go for the update?

I just formatted the computer and I don't feel like experimenting and restoring backwards if I have to.

Enerygy Market Glitch

This just happened to me, and I wanted the Devs to know about it (they've been emailed) and everyone else, to see if it's happened to other people or to warn them of potential problems.

So a few mins ago I struck a deal with a guy to buy the Prisma Driver recipe. After buying it, I wanted to craft it immediately. I went to my guildhall for the crafting machine and opened up the energy market. I only needed 100 energy but I was going to buy 200 so I could have some to play tomorrow.

Turning my gamepad off and on again during play causes gamepad to not work anymore in SK

Is there a way to be able to turn off my gamepad while playing, to switch batteries for example, and then turn it on and continue playing? It seems like the gamepad MUST be on before starting SK or else it won't work, and if it gets turned off during play it won't work again until I restart SK.

Is there perhaps a trick to get it to recognize the controller again without restarting? (and losing all progress I made :-( )

I'm using an xbox 360 controller for windows btw, on windows XP.

I was in the clockworks with 3 others and they all kept dying and spin attacking mobs right into me with calibur. They couldn't understand what a shield is and are experienced with the game enough to have 4*ish gear. It was disgusting. I kicked one of them, the other invited someone, one left, and i couldn't stand it anymore.

TextEdit opens instead of SK on MAC (using Steam)

Hi All,

this has been posted on the Steam forums as well for SK but no one knows whats going on.

When you launch the game, you're prompted to enable access for assisted devices; but then when you continue a MAC TextEdit app opens to a blank page. I have even closed down Steam (which is difficult because it thinks that SK is running and asks you to close it but there is no app to close - even in the Activity Monitor).

Can anyone let me know whats going on because i am not having much luck on the game-playing front using MAC.

Kev
