I have been getting frame drops like crazy, and I can't do anything fun in SK anymore. SK will take up to 1million memory, which brings my CPU usage up to 100% for some time, and during that time;
1. My shield stays up when I'm not pressing the button.
2. Cannot control movement.
3. Often run into things.
5. Any action does not execute properly. (Dash won't work, attack doesn't work)
This happens every 5 seconds. Most people think I suck at LD, or pve because of this. It has to be fixed. NOW.

Memory: 4096MB RAM

My client rashes randomly after about 3 minutes of gameplay. I Googled around, searched the forums, tried all the normal fixes. I initially ran it off steam, and played it from a fresh installation. I didn't have java installed outside of the java that's within steam. I tried turning off steam community in game, that didnt work. Tried uninstalling SK, installing java, then reinstalling SK. that didn't work. Most of the other fixes seem to be for "crashing on startup" which is not my particular issue. SK isn't failing to start or run, it just crashes very suddenly, with no error pop ups.

Before I start, I want to say I haven't touched Spiral Knights for a few months. Back then, I played Spiral Knights and it ran just fine for me. Didn't experience any framerate problems, except when one of my friends was in my party who had a worse connection, but that's besides the point.

I've tried logging into Spiral Knights again recently in the past few days. Y'know, just wanna catch up, maybe get back into it. But the framerate is HORRIBLE. I feel like I'm watching a slideshow. IN THE READY ROOM! There shouldn't be lag in the READY ROOM!

SK is getting banned now (It CAN run, Java just won't let it run without exceptions enabled) in up-to-date java 7u51 installs, where the user freshly installed spiral knights as well. People are starting to hit this issue on windows and mac now, just see your technical issues forum.

It 've been a while since i played sk but now that i try to instal the game in my new windows 7 computer (which have all the requirements including the latest java version) nothing happends. when i lunch the game ( in every way: steam desktop and browser) the screen goes black for thee sconds and then it turns to normal again but the game is not luanching. i check the process in the administrator and there is the jave.exe runing but the game is not working.

I've been checking the spanish and eanglish forums but i cant find an answer. please help i wanto to play the game so bad

so i've came here becouse in steam they are only trolls and cant give me a correct answer... so i play this game trough steam since its on steam xD... but recently i've formated mine pc and when i installed SK the screan trun black for some moments and then it whent back to the desktop... i opened a task manager and SK wasent running... but if i whent to steam again it says ''game is alredy running''... so i wold like some help to fix this if possible thanks ^^

Otherwise your copy of Spiral Knights might get banned from running.

Stick to Java 1.7.0 update 45 at most if you don't want (or know how) to edit your permissions.

Whenever I launch the game on Steam, the client opens for around a second and then closes. What can I do to fix it?
