Iv been playing Spiral knights for about 1 year. The game has been running fine for me until the UI update.
Before UI update i had 2-3 bar connection and game runned fine. Now im always 4 bars, never going lower and my game lags like hell, also i cant play PVP because delay is so huge that i have to hit walls to do dmg to opponents.. whats going on?

Iv tryed lowest settings with lowest resolution and highest settings with higest resolution and the game still runs as bad with both. The funnyest thing is the 4bars connection i see all the time.

Hey fellow Knights! I have a bit of a problem, but it's really nothing major. I am aware that running the game in Compatibility Mode affects Dust Bunnies and gives them weird black bars, but my problem is that when I turn it off certain colors in the game, inculding NPC's, Maps, Monsters, My own Armor, and other people's armor, turns green!

If there's already a fix for this, I apologize, I was just wondering what I can do to fix it.

I tried installing a new graphics card, but SK wasn't compatible with it. I removing and tried playing SK again, and got an error with the OpenGL libraries. I downloaded the drivers again. Then I managed to get the login screen without the "window" black part around the edges, when when I log in I get a black screen. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them and the problem persists.

EDIT- Forgot to descirbe my dinosaur. Sorry. Graphics is integrated nVidia GeForce MX 4, Proccessor is AMD Athlon XP 2800+, 1.93GB RAM, windows XP professional SP3

Hello, im a new player.

When i first downloaded the game it ran fine, and i played it until my mist ran out.
then when i tryed to get it the next time it opened a black window that stayed on the screen for ~5seconds and then disppeared.
when i tryed to reinstal java it said i didnt have it, even though i could play the game the first time.
It took me a while to figure out how to install java, but i finally did, and it recongnizes it.

Here goes: I've always had lag on SK and lately i'm actively trying to get rid of it.
Nothing has worked so far so i'm asking for help :)

Details: The lag comes in the form of: skipped parts (still see things happening but i'm not in control) and very frequent screen freezes.
Both retain the last command given before I lose control. Yes I do frequently run into walls/fire/spikes.
Whenever there appear a lot of enemies at once or a when a firetrap fires in PvE, always except for some 4v4 in Gardens in PvP.

Guys i havent played the game for long time and when i installed it now (i got the latest java, v7 u21) it is stuck in launching 99%.
It installed in 3 minutes (very fast) and it is in laucnhing 99% :( why is that???????i want to play again.

It's always random, it's happened to me while crafting, it's happened to me in a level, it's happened to me while trying to trade. It's getting really annoying because I can't even play the game for more than 10 mins at a time, and while I can't play my Elevator pass is just wasting away. So if anyone's had this issue before some help would be great. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

P.S. I'm using the Steam version for reference.

It seems that I can't open Spiral Knights anymore :/ This "bug" started occurring about 16 hours ago. Before that, it was fine and dandy. The only things I've installed since then are: Eclipse (Java editing tool thingy), JDK, and the latest version of Java. When I try to open Spiral Knights, the window appears for a fraction of a second, then it disappears, and the application closes.
I'm running on Lion (just lion, not mountain lion) Version 10.7.5.
Any ideas why this is happening? :/ Anybody else experiencing this problem?

Have you ever experience a glitch before?
well i have : i was playing a mission 8-1 and when i was on the 3rd stage the arena,i could not progreess forword. there were no enemies inside the arena but the doors remained lock with the evil symbol.I tried re logging in 3 times but fail.I did a lag test but i wasnt lagging please help me.

I hope I'm posting in the right section here, this seems technical enough. I kinda had to put my foot down minutes ago and ragequit one of my raids because for the past 3 or 4 days, lag on the servers seems UNBEARABLE. To be clear, this isn't FPS issues, and it isn't those memory leaks that seemed to have snuck in with the compound updates (though an answer to why SK is plowing >1.4GB of RAM afterwards would be nice) This seems to be a more universal, server side lag, maybe associated with the US West coast servers, most my guildies are on the west coast too.

Examples?
