The game was updating fine up until 70% complete... As of now it has 386:42 mins remaining. Whats happening? Do I need to reinstall?

I added 10 dollars into my steam wallet and went in-game on spiral knights, opened the energy depot, and tried to buy an elevator pass, but when i clicked on purchase, it says, Steam Error: transaction failed
could anyone help me fix this problem?

Since my first day playing Spiral Knights, I've had the following problems:

At random times, Spiral Knights will just close. A small amount of testing has shown me that this is generally when I alt-tab to a different window, but on occasion it also happens randomly.

I bought the Guardians Armor Pack through Steam and have since been trying to get the game to run.
The problems started with the game just closing upon starting it (with java.exe still running in the background).

So I read the FAQ on this site and on the wiki and went through all the steps there - Java updated, graphic drivers updated, registry strings changed and finally game deleted and re-installed; same problem.

I've been playing spiral knights since last year and never had any issues until now. I logged onto Steam and decided to play Spiral Knights, I hop in the game and then instead of suddenly logging me in straight away I don't have the option to login via Steam and it leaves me at the menu asking for my account name?

This has seriously never happened to me before and i've got no clue what is going on, not even 100% sure if I posted this in the right area but could someone maybe explain or tell me what's going on?

For the past 4 days I've been experiencing this problem: I log on to the title screen and it immediately says "failed to connect to server". This problem was in steam. I even tried making another account online without steam and it worked fine. I was able to make another account, but then after 30 minutes or so the problem came up again, "failed to connect to server" I'm sure my internet connection is fine, I've tried system restore (if there was a virus), tried changing firewall settings, reinstalling the game, reinstalling steam, but the problem is still there.

So, I am having some issues with this game and I would appreciate if someone could shed some light onto it. Until recently, my game was working just perfectly, but then something rather unusual started to happen. You see, whenever I try to get into the depth 0 on the Clockworks, the game will get stuck on the loading screen when progress reaches about 96%.
All other areas in the game seen to be working fine.

it has been at least 2 hours and no one has responded to my support request, you have told me in the past you cant back track bug reports because they are too far in the past, well that because you never respond and i need help as im owed from this game.

I don't play Spiral on Steam. Thing is, whenever I try to navigate to any place besides Haven from the ready room, I receive a black screen, a few seconds of "Not responding" and then get kicked to title screen without any notification or info as to why. Usually happens when I try to go to guildhall, but also when I register for Lockdown. I can't log in for the next ten minutes or so and the message that appears is "Could not connect to the server". This also happens at the end of some depths when I return to Haven.
