I'm running Spiral Knights on my Macbook, and I've installed the game alright, Java is all okay and I played through the beginning easily enough, until I got to the end of the area, entering the rescue camp I think. A screen came up with a little dialog box which said it was installing the rest of the game/downloading data, but nothing further happens. I've left it for a while, and it just sits there, nothing is downloading or anything.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the game, but that didn't change anything.

Please, when I pay with my credit card/debit card and the transaction has been completed are there going to be hidden costs or lots of bills coming in, or is it when the transaction has been completed that it ends?

I've had this issue every since i started playing SK and I find it ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed yet. It completely prevents me from playing the game and its been happening on and off for over 4 months. And not only does it annoy myself for i can't play the game for however long this issue is occurring but it also bothers my friends and guild members when they have to deal with my constant logging on and off for it wont let me enter the game.

Game lags seldom, but often; didn't prior to Steam release.

Framerate issues in specific environments.

Sound channels seem limited to 8/16, sounds fail to play a lot.

I don't recall the game having any of these issues in the past (save maybe the FPS issues)

I was able to play fine up until just a few hours ago. When I start up SK through steam, a steam dialogue box appears "Scanning for Steam games updates". Well, the update never happens and SK doesn't start at all. I've already reinstalled steam but that didn't help.

Will be grateful for any help with this.

I am receiving the error "This content has been modified by another user, changes cannot be saved." in my LD records thread in general forums, anything I can do?

Wanted to return back into SK after finally getting a more gaming capable computer, and I assumed that a video card like an HD 6870 should have no problems running the game in high, but for some reason I only get 35-45 frames per second while playing this.

Can anyone who runs this game on high settings, resolutions, and frames per second mention what hardware setup they have? I might have some settings or driver issues, but I wanted to confirm performance with other people's machines.
