i tried everything to fix it reinstalling,update drivers,etc but everytime when i play this game after like 20-30 minutes of playing the game starts bugging out and when i open my ui like the inventory alot of the texts are missing even at the loading screen i tried making screen shots but only managed to take 2 the third one crashed my game

So I've noticed for a long time now that when I open SK before Steam takes over a patch's download, the SK updater seems to download the patch much faster than Steam.
I finally looked into this the other day and figured out what seems to be the cause. Let's use the 3/4/2014 patch as an example.

The patch downloaded by the SK updater was ~4MB, and only contained things that were new and/or modified.
However later when Steam got a hold of this patch, it was ~250MB.

Hello, today for the new patch I accidentally quit during my validating and now whenever I log oo I get a black game with errors in my chat area, how do I fix this? do I delete then reinstall Spiral Knights?

Problem:
I have some graphical glitches:
- droping items (vials, capsules, etc.) are to big or to small or invisible
- when I hit zombies there are appearing grey squares (like a glitched dust)

I don't know what causes those glitches. I play on high graphics but when I had my older card I could play on high graphics without any problems (maybe some lags but rarely).

I hope that someone knows how to solve this problem.

Yes, I know this is better suited for the Steam forums. The problem with that is that it requires another set of usernames and passwords and I have not even set up my Steam profile yet, much less gotten used to some of its finer points.

This has been a problem plaguing me from only one computer, a laptop. I try to login to Steam and get the following error message:

Could not connect to Steam network.
This could be due to a problem with your internet connection, or with the Steam network. Please visit www.steampowered.com for more info.

It won't let him. He's Dmc-Master, and his knight has the same name. It won't let him log in. This happened to him twice actually...

If you have any advice, lemme know. I don't want him to give up on the game.

How do I migrate my account to Steam? (posted here because, technically, it is the technical side of the game)

Ever since I've put this game on Steam it's had multiple issues, i've turned off the overlay and that didn't do anything, i've uninstalled and re-installed, still nothing. The game randomly crashes without warning, random text appears in places it should not, pictures get mixed up with other pictures in places they shouldn't be, I don't know what is going on.. I have a windows 8 laptop that was basically made for gaming, i'm starting to think maybe it has something to do with Windows 8?

It's completely random when it happens. It might happen two hours after i start playing or just half an hour. I've already tried updating my video driver, playing through the website instead of steam, and enabling compatibility mode in advanced graphics settings but my computer still crashes. It runs perfectly up until it happens by the way. I'm positive that it's not overheating since my computer's fan stays pretty quiet the whole time I'm playing. I also have the latest version of Java. Here's my specs for anyone who needs them (I'm using the system information tool in steam)

This has been happening for months and is till don't know what the issue is. Whenever I enable Steam Overlay for SK, I can only get to the log-in screen for a few seconds before I crash with no warning or error. Because of this, I'm not able to buy CE nor take any pictures in-game. I'm able to play when I disable it, but otherwise I can't. Is there any solution to this?
