It's time for another collaborative fiction featuring the Special Investigstors.

You can apply for a part in the fiction by suggesting, in this thread, a character and an area you'd like to investigate that fits into the story. If you get accepted, the Dragon Princess will send you a mail in the story thread.

You should plan on posting chapters fairly regularly for a few weeks until we wrap up the story.

The Dragon Princess had been deeply troubled by the secret that the Stranger Quince had revealed to her. Apparently there was a lot more magic in this world than the knights were aware of. A lot of their so-called technology was in fact based upon magical sources within the planet.

In addition to the magical power latent within the world, there were magical beings within the Core. In fact, the “monsters” in the Unknown Passage were not truly monsters as knights knew them. Rather they were merely the magical creatures manifesting themselves in shadowy versions of monsters.
