hey, i'm new here but during the short time i spent playing (2hours + lag) i came to really like the game ... its simple, clean, fun and dare i say ..... beautiful ?

so the reason this isn't at the suggestions is because i know someone must've thought about this before, but why can't this game move to consoles too (XBL,PSN & Wii) ?

controls are simple to be handled be all the console's controllers, all three can handle the graphics with ease (if anything can handle MGS, Alan Wake and Zelda it gets a pass in my book), there is no need for offline mode since a number of games have already been released that is online only (MAG for example) and there is a market for this style of playing as we can see with Little big planet that sports a close type of gaming.

Also it is understandable how little companies would want to steer clear of consoles because of costs, but i don't think SEGA can be called a little company or an inexperienced one (vanquish, binary domain).

and of course .... I'D REALLY LOVE TO PLAY THIS ON A CONSOLE :D

so why wouldn't this game make it well on consoles ? it seems to meet the criteria of a good online network game ?

*excuse my noob-full thread, i know this could be an issue many raised before, but i can't help but to try and dig for hope of ever seeing this on my PS3 network :)
*N.B : flamers ... be gentle >_<

Consoles

The problem with consoles is the services. Computers are open, free, you can work with them as you want.
With consoles you have to deal with a lot of [bullcrap] from the companies.
I think putting up a patch for an Xbox game costs about 40k dollars. That would be simply ridiculous for a game like SK.

Also chatting is a hassle without a keyboard.

putting a game on the XBL can

putting a game on the XBL can be quite the hassle i know, but i think the benefits will make up for more than the costs (especially if it is a trial to level 8 or close then you have to purchase the game from the network((we're talking consoles-only here SEGA O_O))). now when it comes to typing, you have a point on that, but console players often use voice chat over typing as it is incorporated already in a fitting way (XBL users make PC users blush when it comes to this one).

Post on suggestions... all I have to say.

i think it was already put on suggestions before as a Wii game, but didn't make it. so i thought to see why not ..

XBox Controller + TV

Sometimes to get that console feel (ie play from the sofa), we hook up a PC to the TV and use the XBox Controller.

While typing chat IS a pain, playing SK on a 50" TV really dazzles the gorgeous graphics of the game.

The sound is also awesome.

I don't think the game would honestly be that easy with a gamepad. I would think Arenas and Vanaduke would be a pain in the ass.

I object.

I played 594 hours and counting on SK with a gamepad. I've beat vana countless times with it too. to be honest, its easier for me with a gamepad then mouse and keyboard.

he he ... i got it rolling >:

he he ... i got it rolling >: )

it would be great if we can get a word from SEGA or OOO to help clarify what can be done to bring the game to consoles :) (seriously ... i'm willing to buy a console for this game O_O). is there a way to contact them directly without going through the depressing procedure of official website ?

then add your idea to that one -.-

just found it ... looks like it was in general too ... what are the odds <_< ... >_> ..
