They really are. Nothing compares in LD. Some players have weird latency spikes or something happens that instead of 1 second into the future i have to look 2 seconds into the future to play them. That's fine, and I can accommodate that. The stupidest issue is that because of asi max flourish and that latency aspect, certain players have godlike advantages. they'll run at me, i'll dodge till almost off screen, then get hit by the third hit of their combo before the first hit animation even goes off. Fighting back is difficult since even if i'd go on the offensive, on their screen they're already circled around behind me.
(go ahead, watch videos of skolvers dominating in LD. Looks like the opponent just sits there after every hit right? They get comments like "wow, your game looks so smoothe")
Sure, i rage about this a lot. The cookie cutter clone line dominates like crazy. Nothing compares to it. No variety seems to rise to it. I remember a post where Nick said how most people go striker, but should soon realize that balance is necessary for LD. Watch a gvg match and tell me how many skolver striker outtfits there are. Guess what weapon they use.
Is there a way you could EDIT this weapon? or delete, that would be awesome.
Till then, i'll keep trying new things for fun - try to beat the top line, and get bored every time a toothpick hits me even though the sword animation never comes close to my character. Cant really bring myself to play this line since it's so frustrating to fight against. Would rather just shoot them.
