Posted in another topic but since I doubt anyone will see it:
Instead of using crowns, why not create a new type of currency. Something along the lines of "digital points" within a digitally constructed environment for Knights to practice.
So instead of enemies or treasure boxes dropping Crowns, we'd receive digital currency that could be spent on rewards.
Something like this:
*All Rewards are bound*
2,000 Digital Points - x1 Spark of Life
7,000 Digital Points - 3,000 Crowns
14,000 Digital Points - x20 Warm Fire Crystals
18,000 Digital Points - 2* Equipment (Random, better the gear, lower chance of obtaining it)
23,000 Digital Points - x20 Glowing Fire Crystals
35,000 Digital Points - Heat Amplifier (12 hours)
40,000 Digital Points - x20 Shining Fire Crystals
45,000 Digital Points - 3* Equipment (Random, better the gear, lower chance of obtaining it)
50,000 Digital Points - 1UV Ticket
70,000 Digital Points - 30,000 Crowns
74,000 Digital Points - x20 Radiant Fire Crystals
168,000 Digital Points - 2UV Ticket
490,000 Digital Points- 3UV Ticket
700,000 Digital Points - 300,000 Crowns
Just a quick example.
Also, add a modifier based on the amount of Treasure Boxes and how long the level is and what type of enemies they are:
*Boxes cause a -4% Modifier to your total tally for every box after 4 placed together within a set range.
*Same enemy types (Fodder, Elites, etc) throughout the level causes a -0.5% Modifier to your total tally for every enemy after 5 enemies in place together within a set range. (Minis aren't affected by this)
*Very Short-length levels causes a -25% Modifier in place of your total tally.
*Short-length levels causes a -15% Modifier in place of your total tally
*Normal-length levels causes no alterations.
*Long-length levels causes a +5% Modifier in place of your total tally
*Very Long-length levels causes a +10% Modifier in place of your total tally
Is it still exploitable? Yes, but not as much as before. Or something iono.
Tired, probably going to get some bad -1111111111111111111's here, but whatever.
prices seem fair, but you don't give any accomplishment for the ones who hoard more points for cr, you give the same cr/point ratio in all the cr prizes, which is not exactly right. add a flat number to both.
please exlplain ranges of time. normal is a normal level that is 10 mins?
do those guys still drop heat?
how many monster will SHQ will have to capture to do this thing? cause it's training, it's controlled.
will difficulty/depth be stuck or it will be toggleable?
