+1, I love the CIV design with the chains around it but it has almost no use so killing under the effects of a totem would make it better
I got it over Leviathan anyway, but I would like to see some use out of it

giving it small chance of freeze upon the 3rd swing in a combo would be rather nice, it would see more use and be useable against things that resist elements like gremlins and beasts (is there a non elemental ice weapon other than Triglav?)

Could we also give it a damage bonus versus Fiends or some other effect on Fiends in general? Cold iron was believed to be capable of warding of supernatural malevolent energies, which Fiends sort of replicated by being shadow.

Yeah but....

What if your in a party and you attack a zombie with your CIV and someone finishes it off with Voltedge? Is it dead? Also what if someone is using Ash of Agni while you attack with your CIV? The fire kills it, does it revive? Would this force the entire party to step back while the person with the CIV does everything (slower than with an Acheron mind you). Also imagine how over powered this would be while doing FSC where totems are a big part of gameplay.

On a side note, what if it glowed or displayed some type of aura while in the range of a totem?

But only to this weapon. Though something could be similar for gremlins.

How about this for an idea: CIV is the only weapon that can damage a Grimalkin?

Since Grimalkins are invulnerable (make the tink tink noise) this might be an easier bonus to implement--change the invulnerability to a weapon check.
