I'm worried about SK's future but something is wrong: Why would the man who created SK with such an imagination and love just leave it? I don't think that Nick just got "bored"... From what he says, the OOO team seems alright but SEGA...
I'm sure we won't learn what's the reason so I can only wish you good luck in your future adventures :'[

Well, the reason may be as follows: He may want to create yet another world, one which is entirely different. The problem is that (at least, it is for me) is that after working on a project for some (large amount of) time, another idea, another project, another world may form within his mind. I'm not sure about some people, but I tend to make new things up often. While I apply myself to refine one idea rather than jump to whatever I've just come up with, (so that the previous idea actually becomes something meaningful) there is probably a point where it feels like it's become rather refined.
Let's just say that maybe Nick is out of great ideas; he's refined this world as far as he can bare and at this point everything he makes is so-so and he cannot live up to what he's last created. Which leads me to another idea, one which I haven't thought of...
What if the reason why OOO, or in reality, the SK dev team, seems stubborn in some things, is because it's really that it conflicts with something that had, is, or will be in this world if Nick had/has/was going to be added. It's far fetched, but...what if Nick is a control freak?

Well, I gotta say this game is pretty sweet. It has problems that need to fixed, and we know all what those problems are. The community is diverse, from the fun loving people, to the ragers that get under our skin. And over all, I enjoy it. I will keep on playing for as long as I enjoy it. I may take breaks, and I may sometimes be on the verge of quitting, but I will always, be a fan of this game.
This has been Hero-of-Cheese, loyal fan of Spiral Knights, saying thanks and good-bye to Nick, the loveable pink slime cube that sports a mustache that shows off his greatness.

I hope you do well in your future prospects Nick, even if I disagreed with most of you design choices. To you credit you did begin to turn things around a bit later in the game and running a f2p can be especially difficult.
I AM still peeved about how you handled bomber gameplay (I still want the old RSS back!).
