Should shield-less sets be given shields?

I'm not leaning heavily one way or the other on this, but recently a thought popped into my head: There are quite a few sets of armor out that have no shield, like Gunslinger. Should they be given shields so they are "complete?"

I'll start a pros-and-cons list that anyone who'd like to contribute to the discussion can add onto:

Pros

  • Would make Hall of Heroes missions simpler for those wanting to go for all one set.
  • Would remove "issues" with sets like Quicksilver where other shields don't complement the armor as well.
  • Would add an amount of variety to the game's current array of shields.

Cons

  • Might take a lot of time to implement, giving all the shield-less sets out there.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section or something. First thread post and all, y'know.)

of all 5* sets, only 10 have a shield. there are 37 5* sets.
let's say it would be better to add a 5* radiant helm and to get a fiend bonus to divine mantle.

Hm...

Maybe I shouldn't have restricted my post to just shields. I completely forgot about the absence of a Radiant Helm, and there are probably others I overlooked as well.

The core of a good idea

The only new shields that I think would really be useful would be an MSI shield, and then gunner and bomber versions of the BTS. Another batch of BTS-style shields with ASI and CTR would also be nice, but other than that I don't really think there's enough room for more shields. With only three statuses and 4 damage types, there just aren't enough possible stat permutations to make that many useful shields. For example, a shadow shield with stun resist would be useful only for dust zombies, which is way too specialized to be worthwhile.

We do need some variation for pierce shields.

Jelly and ironmight = almost clones.
Azure = completely dull.
Dragon Scale = 2 main statuses.... split elemental, no normal

I think Azure is OK, especially since the recipe was free. And Dragon Scale is supposed to be like that, its designed to be used in compound 42. Now that I think of it, shadow/elemental and shadow/piercing shields would be nice additions to the game.

ugh my keyboard is all sticky, stupid soft drink >.<

Also, even if a shield is redundant, it would be neat to get a costume of the shield at least.

battle, MSI is made for dodging, giving MSI to a shield is kinda, kinda, you know, you use a shield to not use a shield and, and, whatever.
BTS is good for gunners, it's actually better for gunners cause for swords you need more damage than speed. we need a bomber shield though.
