Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Change the "mouse reset when move" behavior

I'm trying to use the mouse to aim. In theory, this will let me fire off the straight lines, and on diagonals.

But when I move, the mouse pointer moves.

What I want: Robo-tron style move with the key, and aim/fire with the mouse. Let me run to the right while shooting to the left.

I can't. Not with keys to move and mouse to aim, anyways.

I've been playing the game for about a week or two. So note that some of these things could be in the game and I just didn't experience them or know about them.

1. Make power-ups more visually clear as to what it is. If one power-up is blue and one is lightish-blue I have no idea which is which unless I hover over them which puts you out of the action mentally. I would suggest maybe making the symbols different for powerups that deal more with hit points (like fire or poison) and powerups that are status effects (like sleep or freeze).

Attack Power and Speed Stat Numbers

I've been working to fill out as much of the Wiki as I can lately, and it'd be pretty helpful (and hopefully easy to add) if hard attack power and speed stat numbers could be included in the equipment window. Currently the only way we have to display weapon stats on the Wiki is to take a screenshot of the stat bars and upload that.

Oh, and some way to get hard stats on shields too, though I'm not quite sure how you would go about doing that.

More Bosses

There's not a whole lot to explain here: I think it would be great if there were more 'boss' monsters. Currently we've just got the Tortodrone and the Trojan (who's more of a miniboss, really). There's also that fiend lord, but no one's been able to fight him in forever.

It'd be really cool to have more enemies like the Tortodrone: solitary monsters with huge hp and multiple powerful attacks. Fighting multiple waves of gremlins is alright, but every time I face off with a Tortodrone I have a memorable fight.

Should enemies killed with a sword drop better stuff than those killed with guns?

Okay, so something that has been bothering me is how much the game encourages use of guns. Guns are just better. They are much less risky to use, and make your enemies just as dead. For the most part enemies aren't good at avoiding your shots.

Pretty much whenever there is a dangerous situation, it's better to keep your distance and shoot at it. Or better yet, heard the enemies behind a half wall so you can shoot them without worrying about their projectiles hitting you.

Remove drops from unreachable enemies

Enemies that drop items out of reach are not awesome

For example, there are some areas where Gun Puppies are on platforms that a player can't access. When you kill them they drop stuff (yay!) but you can't obtain the stuff they drop (gah!).

It would be nice if, once you kill all the enemies in the immediate area or something, paths open up that allow you to walk over and collect your spoils.

The Cradle is more of a game lobby than a world

So, feel free to slow me down if I'm getting way ahead of where the game should be at this point, but there's something missing, and it's a really big something.

Let me explain. Right now, it seems the only real objective in the game is to go into the clockworks and fight in the dungeons. That's fun but if that's the whole game it's going to have no lasting appeal. When I'm not in a dungeon the only thing there is to do is chat. I'm not living in this world, I'm passing though it on my way to playing in the dungeons.

Allow Sorting Types for items

Please allow us to sort items in a manner other than alphabetical order. In particular by star-amount would be nice.

PvP Minigames?

One of the most enjoyable aspects of PvE in Spiral Knights is having to use different tactics against different types of enemies. Unfortunately, this wouldn't translate well to PvP: there's not nearly as much variation between players.

Instead, maybe we could have PvP minigames. It would be something to do when you're out of energy but still want to hang out with your friends. Perhaps you could win small amounts of crowns, possibly taken from the losing players a la Arena Minigames in Mario Party.
